I went in on 3/2/26 prepared to invest in a full new setup including Kate Spade frames with progressive transition lenses, but I walked away 400 dollars out of pocket with glasses that are completely unusable. ​My primary need is seeing my computer screen, but when I sit down everything is blurry. Instead of addressing the lens issue, the staff tried to "rig" the frames by adding double nose pads and bending the ear pieces so tightly they dug into my head to force the glasses higher. When I returned after my first pair was finished on 3/16, a different staff member admitted the lenses were made incorrectly, yet they repeatedly mentioned a one-time fee for the correction as if the error was my fault. ​Between the initial fitting and the follow-ups, I spoke directly with four different staff members on the sales and fitting side. I received a second set of lenses on 3/25, but they were just as blurry. Trying to find the "sweet spot" in the prescription caused so much eye strain that I was in tears by 10 AM the next day. When I finally asked for a refund, they refused and even told my insurance company no. I am now out 400 dollars, I still do not have functional glasses, and I was never even given a copy of my prescription. ​I have officially filed a formal complaint with the California State Board of Optometry regarding the refusal to refund for a non-functional medical device. I am also reporting the office for violating the FTC Eyeglass Rule, as I was never provided a copy of my prescription after my exam. While the energy in the office is positive, the policies regarding defective products and the lack of empathy for inaccurate results is unsettling. If your prescription doesn't work out the first time, be prepared for a very difficult and expensive struggle.

The temple is loose. Its not the screw loose, its the hinge thats molded into the plastic thats loose. Made with a defect. They remake the glasses. 2 weeks later they come in. Now i see double The temple is still loose. They didnt replace the frames They do another eye test and the doctor says they must have written the numbers down wrong the first time. Make another set of glasses. A week and a half later they come in. The prescription is mostly good. The hinge on the temple is still bad!!! The lenses have numbers and letters and circles stamped into them. Not along the edge, in the center that you look through. So you constantly see something like a smudge. They said they are always like that because of the progressive lenses. Which is complete BS. I have progressive lenses from americas best, oakley, lens crafters, & kaiser permante and none of them have anything on the lenses. 2 pairs of glasses and every lense has numbers and letters and dots stamped in the lenses I take them back to return them and they will only refund me about 70% of what i paid. I told them ill just chargeback the discover card. And she was like ok then. Then she started typing as fast as her fat little fingers could to issue the partial refund while i was on the phone with discover card. She managed to get that through before i got to talk to a person on the phone instead of the automated bs you have to deal with. Now its all frozen and i have to call back in a couple of days. They claim i have to pay for the FREE EYE EXAM that they did incorrectly, that i cannnot use, and dont even have a copy of. You are the idiots that messed it up, not me. You are the idiots that are too cheap to replace the frame you supplied that is a factory defect. And you are the liars that tell the customer numbers & letters stamped into the lenses is how they all are. And maybe hire people with people skills that arent all im better than you attitude.
