However, selecting the admin office instead allowed u call to be transferred in. They had my tire in stock and an appointment same day at 7pm! Hooray! Chelsea was great at the front desk. Don't buy big-ticket furniture at Costco. Last year, I bought a $3,000 couch from Costco online--the same model they're still advertising today. One cushion suffered normal wear and tear; I only needed a replacement cover (willing to pay). The manufacturer directed me to Costco, but Costco refused help, saying the damage wasn't their issue and returns aren't guaranteed. An exchange was impossible because the manufacturer had changed the item number--even though the product is identical. This yearly item-number trick makes the "same" item technically different, blocking exchanges or support. After two store visits and four calls, I got nothing. Warning: For major purchases, Costco's return policy isn't as solid as advertised. THE SETUP Ever since COVID, I have had practiced success in winnowing through many online food sources - these have included, for example: * MILA which sells some of the most spectacular Chinese-style dumplings (Pork, Shrimp, Beef, Turkey) and Gyoza and Dan Dan Noodles, and various varieties of some of my most favorite condiments (like Chili Sauce); and, * FOURSIGMATIC Mushroom coffees (FOCUS); and, * POPPI Probiotic Soda (most based on an Apple vinegar-foundation) which is really good for gut-health, an reduces the needs for chemicals, additives, artificial sweeteners and food coloring. * And many other varieties of food stuffs! COSTCO NOW SELLS THEM! Imagine my surprise when I go shopping more frequently at Costco to see more and more of some of my favorite items now being carried by Costco. As one example, one bag of FOCUS coffee at Costco is twice the volume for the same price I was paying online from FourSigmatic.Com (And I don't have to pay the $9.95 shipping fee now either!). It's Costco do I really need to say more. This is the place you come to make those bulk purchase and always leave spending more than you anticipated. You can't walk out of there spending less the $100 and if you only spend $100 you're lucky. This time we anticipated coming out there spending a lot as we were here shopping for Christmas presents for his Office Staff. We walked away with laundry detergent for the house and lots of gifts for others. We got his niece a sourdough kits, that hopefully is nice and not just a cheap toy. I believe it was around $45. His staff got a mixture of Godiva chocolates, Hawaii macadamia nuts covered in chocolate, gift baskets, ramen kits including bowels and chopsticks, wine, mini bowel sets of ceramic colorful bowls, a 49er's beanie and some mini lotions for my girlfriend. This is defiantly the place to shop for gifts. The only thing I only needed 1 lotion, but now I have 3. Hopefully I can find 2 other nice people to give it too and hopefully they won't think it's too small of a gift. It is really nice lotion. I think everyone will love their gifts. Now lets talk parking. It's a complete zoo. We arrived before noon on a Saturday and the lot was packed. We ended up parking on the other end of the lot near REI. It was an easy in and out and the cart was useful to trek all our gifts in. We were polite and took the cart back to the Costco cart return on their side of the parking lot. read more

This isn't my usual Costco, and honestly... it's not my favorite. But it's getting 5 stars because of Susana. When I first pulled into the lot, it was chaos... which, fair, it's right before Christmas. While walking in, I found a gold bracelet in the parking lot and decided to turn it in. I went to the staff member at the entrance to hand it over, but she was too busy chatting with coworkers to acknowledge me. Cool. I walked off and gave it to someone else, but it left a sour taste in my mouth. Shopping itself went fine. The store was fully stocked and I found everything I needed (and a few things I didn't). After checkout, I grabbed my See's gift cards from the customer service center and headed out. Here's where Susana saved the day. At the exit, she caught that I had been overcharged, pulled me aside, and immediately got a supervisor to process a refund right there. no extra lines, no hassle. She was professional, quick, and genuinely helpful. She turned a frustrating start into a solid experience. Shoutout to Susana for being the kind of employee that makes a difference. read more

Why in the world would I want a $10 pizza for a company pizza party? Well it's cause it's cheap and great quality. HOWEVER How can I order 3 full pizzas if YALL DONT PICK UP THE PHONE? I called the every extension trying to talk to a live person and the call ended multiple times after ringing for 5. I called 4 different times total, each equally taking 5 mins of just ringing before the phone drops the call. What the F*** this is the absolute WORST Costco I've ever been to. The parking lot is a mess, carts are never taken back to the front of the store AND NOBODY answers the MF phone when you try to place a whole pizza order. I am absolutely dumbfounded by this. I think this Costco has improved a lot over the years. Their gas station used to have terrible lines, but has improved somewhat with the new orientation and traffic circle. This Costco can get very busy and parking can sometimes be hard to find. Nonetheless they have all the offerings of a larger Costco and overall is a good option among the multiple Costco's in the area. read more

Excellent service and wonderful staff, but this Costco location is just too busy and chaotic, it's impossible to enjoy your shopping experience. Parking is a nightmare, but once you park half the battle is done. The inside of this Costco is well organized like all Costcos and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Selection at this Costco is not the most well rounded but has the essentials and a few good snacks. On weekends there would be a lot of sample stations. I would recommend avoiding right before a holiday cuz it is just packed. On a regular day it's manageable. I like the value I get at Costco but after every visit I feel drained haha. read more

Ordered a pair of designer frames (Gucci) because of the "eye opening" price of $229! Elsewhere the price of the frame would easily be $300+! They have many designer frames to choose from: Tumi, Cartier, Emporio Armani, Coach and more. The service I received from Billy was exceptional! He was personable, courteous and best of all patient. I must've asked 101 questions regarding frame size, how frame looked on my face, nose pads or no, etc. I never felt rushed nor did he show an inkling of frustration. If ever you're in the need for glasses, prescription or non, and even sunglasses, hit your nearest Costco and save some $$! And if you're in the Cal Expo area, be sure to ask for Billy! read more

My wife and I needed a quick lunch, and we were down the street. By stating in the most non-elitist way, I have been to Costco many times, but never actually ate there for a meal. So...why not? Life is for new experiences... I ordered the chicken bake and a slice of cheese pizza. My wife got the pepperoni pizza, hot dog, and soda. I think we spent less than $9, so can't beat the value. The cheese pizza was....actually not bad. It tasted better than some pizza delivery chains. For less than $2, yes, vert good. The chicken bake was....interesting. The Pharmacy is the worst! No matter how I submit, online, phone, or drop off, its NEVER ready when the y say. They ALWAYS say its going to be 20 minutes. My go-to Costco location so why haven't I reviewed it yet? Costco is my favorite store next to Target. I get excited when I visit knowing darn well that I am going to go down every single aisle and spend more money than I ever intend to. I love buying stuff in bulk especially for my daughter's school lunches and knowing that I have snacks covered for at least a week, if not longer. I also love seeing all the new snacks and items that are constantly being rotated out. Any seasoned Costco shopper knows that if you see something that you really want, you better buy it or it'll be gone the next time you visit! Most of the prices can't be beat - that's one of the beauties of Costco! Let's not forget their $1.50 hot dog and drink meal in the food court! Have you tried their new chocolate chip cookie?! HEAVEN. It's a great place for gifts too - we always get our White Elephant Christmas gifts here! I patronized this Costco for its gas station service years ago. We figured to check out the warehouse anticipating a crowded house but were surprised at the ease of parking. This Costco's food court is located outside, unlike the other stores in the Sacramento area. It's always nice to discover merchandise and food items not being sold in our local Costco. During this visit, we purchased Pork Lumpia and Kirkland Signature Sous Vide Pork Belly. And no, we are not vegan :). read more

I actually look forward to going to Costco to see the latest merchandise. Of course I always pick up fruits and vegetables. Sampling food is fun except for a particular sample guy who consistantly harasses me Yeah, only at this Costco. I wish the snack bar had non-dairy soft serve. I miss churros, and love the hot dogs. I have bought tires, lap tops, flat screens, batteries, pool chlorine, mulch, jeans and shoes at very good prices. read more

Came into Costco to shop a little first off I like that they give samples try before you buy lol. Always has great deal and friendly people, they have a vending machine for 25cent waters never could go wrong with water. They have everything you need from food to tires, and don't forget their food court prices or wonderful cheap food but good quality stop by. read more

Normally, I enjoy shopping here. But 2day, I was not happy w/ what I saw. There was an elderly woman who had her dog in a basket. An employee stopped her & told her that they don't allow animals in the store. The elderly lady explained it was a service dog. The employee schooled the elderly lady on what requirements were 4 a service dog and started arguing w/ the elderly. The elderly lady and her service dog weren't bothering no 1. And this was in the back of the store so this elderly lady made it by the door people & who knows how many others w/o being given a hard time. Let her shop! Once she said it was a service dog, she should've been left alone. Very disappointed in what I saw in that store 2day!!! read more

This review is just for the gas station. Quality/Quantity - Needed, wanted gas before going back to Reno, NV. This is an older Costco gas station, just 2 pumps per station. Two ways in and one way out of the station. So yes, a slight bottle neck/funnels. Atmosphere - Older Costco gas station. And crazy busy. Service - Self service, so good. Price - See picture, but I never really look. Always a good value. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success with this location that opened here in 1984. Congrats on all your success since 1976, since Price Club. $9.99 for a 18" Pizza!!!! Get Cheese, Pepperoni, and/or one of each! They also accept phone orders. Plan ahead due to long wait times depending on when you order. The pizza was really good. The cheese stretches when you take a bite. It was totally worth it. read more

This is with regards to the tire center. Unfortunately after 15+ years of purchasing tires from Costco for all of my vehicles, I will *never* do so again. I have purchases tires from Costco for two reasons: their reasonable prices for new tires; and their warranty/service guaranteed for the life of the tires. Unfortunately, that service guarantee has proved less than reliable. Two recent negative experiences for reference: First, I scheduled a tire rotation for 7:45pm on a Tuesday evening. At 2pm, I received a call from the tire center manager, claiming that they do not do appointments after 7pm, because "their team needs to clean up and get home". This was surprising, as I have almost exclusively made evening appointments with Costco for the last 10 years. They specifically claimed that neither their Costco or any other Costco has *ever* offered appointments after 7pm (clearly BS). And hence, they would be cancelling my appointment, unless I was willing to come-in at 6:15pm. After which, I called the general manager of the Costco, who adamantly told me that 7pm was not their policy, and that they would be following-up to clarify with all members of management that turning customers away was unacceptable. Several days later, I made another appointment, again at 7:45pm. This time, I did not receive a phone call telling me the appointment was invalid. In fact, when I arrived, they made no mention of my appointment time (so clearly the general manager was able to make her point). However, about 15 minutes after I left my keys, they called to tell me that my tires had too little tread to safely rotate. I asked them at what depth was unsafe. They answered "2/32" (which I think is a fairly common response). I then asked them about the condition of my tires. They said my rear tires were either 4 or 5/32. And my front tires were probably "3/32". I asked about this discrepancy, and they clearly weren't listening to themselves speak, as then they suddenly switched to claim that they would not rotate at 3/32" either. In both cases, the Costco Tire Center employees and management clearly didn't want to deal with my car near closing time, and were willing to make any excuse to be able to head home early. This is unacceptable, and I see no reason to buy tires from such scoundrels again. read more

Couple of clowns were running the self checkout last time I was there. They looked at our machine with a blinking light and made eye contact with me 4 or 5 times and continued to ignore me. I had to go up the the one named Paul and ask for help. They treated me like an interruption and even though I thanked Paul for his help, he wouldn't say a word to me. Couple of jokers, if I behaved like that at my job I'd get fired so fast. The fruit and dairy from here always goes bad and the frozen food always has a near expiration date. While I think we'll soon have a Costco a bit closer to home, this location has maintained it's spot on our regular shopping list. While it's always busy, the parking lot is huge and you can always find a spot, even though you may need to walk a bit. The store is always well organized and clean and we've been able to grab staples consistently. Some of the items we frequently grab here are mushrooms, asparagus, tomatoes, eggs, chicken breasts, butter, cheese, toilet paper, paper towels and other miscellaneous items. We love walking through the snack aisle to see if there are some new items to try and I always love going through the garden section when it's stocked seasonally. I also have found luck in getting pillows here, I've found I'm picky with my pillows. I like they really fluffy, where you sink into them. I've been able to find some decent ones more than once here at a great price. The nice thing about Costco is their return policy. It doesn't happen often, but if a product doesn't end up being the right thing or if something is wrong they are great about taking them back. read more

The Costco on Exposition Blvd. has become too crowded. One of the main reasons is that the food court is located outside the store. Increasingly, the foodcourt is serving non members who are taking all then parking spots. This is a crowded store to begin with and now with nonmembers make food lines that go down the entire front-often impeding access to the front door. This is the worst Costco I have shopped at and now I am forced to drive another Costco much further away. I do not want to spend 20 or more minutes driving around the parking lots or have to jockey with other drivers doing the same thing. read more

Ordered a 75 inch flat screen tv for delivery, I paid $30 extra for installation. They show up and just dropped it in my living room. I said "oh aren't you going to install it?" They say " that costs $30 extra". I let them know I did pay it, the guy says he'll call Costco and then he just leaves. What an asshole. I had to call Costco to get my installation refunded. One of my my worst experience at costco! The employee works here which is a newly open location make me don't want to shop here. I purchased 50 mohawk flooring boxes and ending up having to return 20 of them. When I return them, an employee walked up and told me he use be install flooring and told me they don't look the same in front of other employees and customer. He did not ask why i was returning them or if there was any problem with them. Literally came up to talk down to me in front of others. The 20 boxes of vinyl planks are printed awful, and they look like rejects which I wont accept these poorly made vinyl at my home. I used as much as I can tolerate but ended up returning 20. Most definitely I will never buy lamination from costco and would not go back to this location due to the horrible customer service I recieved from the employee. read more

Probably my least favorite Costco even in comparison to the South Sac one which was quite chaotic before the Elk Grove location opened and relieved some of the congestion from such a large demand for Costco in the greater South Sac/EG area. Cal-Expo Costco is just really crowded and badly designed because they perhaps didn't anticipate the number of people who would come to this location when it was first built. It's tucked in to a nook parking area across from REI and right off of HWY160 near Expo Blvd. It's not easy to get in and out b/c there's really only 1 main entrance and everyone has to go through it to get in. Then there's the gas station, and it's even harder to get into that lot to get gas. There's just so many bottlenecks. The parking lot is always full and it's truly difficult to get a parking spot especially on Saturdays and Sundays, even in the mornings. Other than that it's a typical Costco that has everything you can imagine and expect to find at a Costco. The tire center though, will give you high blood pressure, at this location, because I've only experienced this tire center taking MUCH longer than the estimated (or even promised) time of completion. One time, we waited about 2 hours BEYOND the time when we were told my car would be done getting new tires (or was it just a rotation, I forget). This was WITH an appt so it really was quite frustrating. Overall, this location is to be avoided at all cost if you can go to another. It's also the one w/the most expensive gas prices compared to other Costco's in the greater Sacramento metro. read more

Just a review specifically for the tire department. I drove from Vacaville to pick up some business supplies around the corner from this Costco location and noticed that my tire pressure was extremely low. I pulled into Costco to add air to my tire and it was completely flat at that point. The tire department had just opened and got me in right away, put my spare on, and added air to all of my tires. If I hadn't noticed the problem and they hadn't been able to accommodate me right away I could've been in a bad accident or I would've been sitting on the side of the road for hours waiting for AAA to show up. They were extremely pleasant to deal with and I am so very, very grateful for their excellent customer service. read more

This Costco is very busy what seems like all the time! It's not a bad thing but just expect the crowds and the cars.....Especially the cars around attempting to get in and out of the lot. I feel I always have to park at a distance, mostly because I do not take the time or effort to drive in circles hoping to find a parking spot closer to the store. I find the first spot I see available, park and walk. The tricky part is attempting to get out of the lot. There is a four-way stop at one entrance/exit and no one really knows where they are going. They might be going to the Costco gas station, which usually is a nightmare to get into, or they might drive straight ahead to the back entrance of the parking lot. Exiting, you'll have to plan your route depending on which turn you're ultimately going to make. Once inside Costco, it's just like any other Costco. Not much to report there. Good luck! read more
