They work really hard and fast .. there are so many items for tasting in this store . Good marketing for some brands .. Plan to come on a weekday if possible. I'll be honest -- I'm not really a huge fan of Costco as a whole. The entrance and exit always feel cramped, though to be fair, part of that is probably just the sheer volume of people they draw. That said, this location has been solid every time I've come through. I've always been able to find what I need, and on the rare occasion I couldn't, there was an employee nearby to help. I've even had some pleasant conversations with staff, one of whom turned me on to some Dubai chocolate cups -- absolutely delicious, by the way. The store is clean, well-stocked, and generally what you'd expect from a wholesale club. Checkout is where things can get a little messy. Even with all the lanes open, it sometimes feels like employees are more focused on chatting with each other or trying to manage the store while actively checking people out. Still, despite the minor annoyances, I usually make it through the line in under 10 minutes. Would love to see them adopt a "10 items or less" lane like Publix or Kroger, but I digress. At the end of the day, it's Costco -- you know what you signed up for when you bought the membership. The fresh produce selection, in particular, is second to none, ensuring that you can enjoy healthy and delicious fruits and vegetables. Overall, it was a good experience and I love how there's plenty of parking and the gas station isn't packed compared to other places. Shopping at Costco is an experience in itself. Very well stacked items, in a systematic manner in easily identifiable bays. Prices are very cheap and affordable. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Besides bulk packages, there were many items that were available on a single count basis or in pretty small packings, like nuts, almonds, walnuts, chocolates, bakery products, clothing, pharmaceutical items, wines etc. Though there was a pretty long queue at the counter, the checkout was fast, and it was very efficiently managed. They have an in-house eatery, which serves pizzas, hotdogs and cold drinks, etc. at very reasonable prices. In conclusion, Costco Wholesale Club is an amazing place to shop for a wide variety of products at reasonable prices. I love Costco! They have such a wide selection of items, and really have a lot of healthy foods too which can be hard to find at a reasonable price. It's easy to navigate the store, as they are all laid out very similarly. This location is always super crowded. I've gone multiple times in the middle of the day (between 11 am - 2 pm) and it is still extremely crowded. You have to park a little further away because of this. It also makes checkout long too, but they have both self-checkout and cashiers which helps it move a little quicker. I do love that they have a liquor store attached to the side of it. I remember my Father, who has since passed, always wanting to get hot dogs before we left. I think of him every time I visit a Costco... The Brookhaven Costco is standard, as any. The value is great, of course buying in bulk with great deals. There is a wide selection of products, and you always leave with more than you planned, just as you do at Target. Additionally, the service at checkout is always polite. Sometimes, my fiancé and I like to get a big pizza to go or enjoy a soft serve ice cream. I love the chocolate vanilla swirl! You get a big portion for the price. Both the pizza and ice cream are inexpensive but delicious, just as the aforementioned hot dogs are (and I love the fact that the price has stayed the same all these years). This is one of my favourite Costco's in Atlanta and if you are anywhere near it by far, the best place to stop and get gas. As anyone who lives or works in Atlanta, they nows that gas prices are typically around 20-50 cents more per gallon downtown than say Gwinnett or someplace else. The people at this store are very friendly and always helpful. Just a tip from something I learned through the years, always shop Tuesday through Thursday if you don't want to stand in a long line. Monday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday are always the worst days to shop. Prices here are good, they do an incredible job with produce and always have fresh food. If you don't see something here, they are always helpful if you just ask. Overall, this is a great store. I love this and the Duluth, but that one is always a nut house. I got a flat tire and I was in desperate need for someone to replace my tire. I have one of those small donut spares and cannot travel far on it. To make matters worse, the spare did not have enough air in it. Costco promised me they could get to me within 2 hours. They actually patched my tire and it only cost $12. This is the Costco I go to most often, and I love it! It has a huge selection of everything and I always find everything I need/want when I come. I use this Costco for everything as well. Whether it's food, eye exams, gas, tires, travel, I utilize everything here. This Costco stays pretty busy almost all the time, which isn't a terrible thing, but sometimes can be quite overwhelming, if you're just trying to get in and out. This Costco doesn't have liquor like some of the other ones do, but there is beer/wine! The return line can sometimes be quite long too, but the staff here are very efficient and really do work with a sense of urgency. At times when it is busy, it can be pretty difficult to find a parking spot, but that's the case with all Costcos really. I don't have anything bad to say about this Costco at all! New Costco member here! I kept hearing about Costco and how good it is and decided to get a membership. I'm single and live alone and purchased the membership in July and finally visited today! I grew up with my parents going to Sam's so seeing the layout was a bit confusing but something I feel I'll get used to after a few more visits. The Member Services is on the far right off the store when exiting so that took getting used to when getting my picture taken for my card. I came for Toilet Paper but the price of $25 was a bit steep. I did the math and can still purchase this item at Wal Mart a few times a year and end up about the same price wise. In addition, Wal Mart will deliver. I did end up purchasing some items for my Interior business and noticed the Produce and Meats department is a lot better than Sam's. I also like how they have a separate room for produce. Finding eggs was difficult and after asking an employee I was told they are in the same room as dairy. I wasn't in need of much grocery items but noticed the selection of Meat and Seafood was pretty darn good! It does sim a bit more pricey at 1st glance but when my items finish up I think I will save money freezing items and having them on hand vs buying items every 2.5 weeks. I don't see myself buying too many of the prepared food items or processed items as those seemed quite expensive. I think I saw an aluminum pan of Macaroni and Cheese for $17. For a family that may be ok, but thinking back to when I was a child my parents could make a pan for less than that. In general I look forward to more visits but I do feel some items are expensive however the savings are definitely with Meats/Seafood and Produce. Also, the Cheese selection was far superior than Sam's. No to mention the selection of Health Food items and Olive Oils/Coconut Oil. read more

Had to go here because I originally intended to go to the Dunwoody Costco to get a pizza, but their food court is closed until September, so decided to make the trek to Brookhaven, and I'm SO glad I did! This location DEFINITELY has more space, which was a welcome respite from my normal club - everything is more spaced out, and that encourages you to roam around more and see what they have to offer. Check out was surprisingly speedy (went in for just pizza, of COURSE that isn't all I left with ). Even their gas station, although it had the expected long lines, was much more accommodating and it didn't feel as nearly as much of a hassle getting gas. This review is for my Costco tire center experience. I really needed to replace my tires because of tread wear. At the end of April, I finally had all four replaced. Costco had a really good deal on the tires that I had been eyeing, and hoping for a sale. Well, the tires were finally on sale at Costco. I had done grocery shopping in the store earlier that (Wednesday) morning, and made a quick stop at the tire center. I already knew what size tires I needed, so when the the employee asked what size I needed, I noticed that the exact size tires I needed were coincidentally right next to the counter. I pointed at the tires stacked next to where I was standing and said, "These are the ones I need. Are these spoken for?" The employee confirmed that those tires were the correct size for my car and told me that they were available now. I asked him if I could make an appointment to have them installed on my car and he said that he could get me in later in the afternoon, but said that he could probably squeeze me in for tire replacement in about an hour, even without an appointment. I told him that I had to take my groceries home and then I'd be back within the hour. And I was! Checking in was very easy, since they already had my car information already in the system. I handed over my key, told the employee where the car was parked, and he told me that it would be ready for me in about 2 hours. I had already planned on having lunch somewhere in the area, so I was expecting a long wait since I didn't make an appointment. I was still lunching 45 minutes after I dropped off my key when the employee called me and told me that I could pick up my car. Now THAT was quick service! I love their tire policies, such as filling up tires purchased from Costco with nitrogen; and flat repairs, rotation and balancing and inflation checks for the life of the tires. They also have a great warranty on their tires. I received great customer service, they didn't try to upsell me, they were quick, and I got a great price for the four tires. Fyi, if you're considering buying tires from Costco, just know that they have a monthly rotation of tires that are on sale, meaning a certain brand is on sale for one month, then regular price the next, then possibly on sale the month after that. I think I like this location slightly better than the Duluth one, possibly due to the lay-out. Shopping at Costco can be fun, but stressful at times, due to all the traffic and congested shopping areas. Even though this one always is packed too, I feel that the lay-out helps it feel less congested and therefore, makes the shopping experience just a little bit more pleasant. Parking can still be a challenge here, but I always seem to find a stall along the side of the building, so it's no trouble. The parking lot is definitely designed a lot better than the Maui, HI location with better traffic flow and more logical walkways for shoppers. There's always cool stuff and great deals to be found at Costco. I recently discovered the low carb Sola bread which I really enjoy and prefer over Aldi's Zero Carb bread. The Coconut Clusters Costco sells is also a great snack over some yogurt. I think my favorite treat I've had in recent times are the almond Keto Bites they sell that come from a bakery in California. I couldn't find them recently though online or in store. I really hope they bring them back! So addictive, but with none of the guilt lol. I wish they'd bring back their Polish dogs to the food court too, but we're probably at a loss with both (my luck). In any case, I definitely recommend this Costco location. This Costco Citi Card/bank decides to lower your credit limit with no notice or notification which lowers your debt ratio and effecting your credit score. We have several credit cards including AMX, chase, Capital One etc.. None of them do this to customers. If you are looking for a credit card consider one of these DO NOT get the Citi card. I've tried a lot of Costco's, and Brookhaven is literally the best. They have an amazing kosher section for local, Jewish families, and everything in their bakery is made without pork products. We go here every year for our Thanksgiving sides, and I'm never worried that anything is going to run out! Everything in the deli is made fresh. We really enjoyed the stuffed peppers, the chicken, tacos, etc. Returns are easy, they never give me a hard time at the counter. I've been buying whole bean coffee and grinding it at this store for years. Today, after purchasing three bags of coffee beans, I discovered that the coffee grinders have been permanently removed. I returned the coffee and told the Costco team member that they should put a sign at the coffee aisle telling members that the grinders are no longer available. She informed me that several members have also complained about both the lack of a sign and about the grinders being removed - and still there is no sign. Horrible Customer Service because of a Malfunction Chip Reader Error popped up multiple time then my bank declined the charge! I had to use facial recognition to get into my phone to approve flagged charges because of a faulty machine!! Molly the Manager yells out you have to pull your mask up and I explained that I had to pull my mask down for a brief second to fix their issue. She then threaten to kick me out of the store ‍ I get it...I get it, it's my skin it's not me. Purchased was the approved by my Bank! I then notice that Costco in Error with its Faulty Machine charge me twice for $176 I ask for the Manager. Waited of course for Molly to Check out 3 other Customers in an already long line... I showed her that Costco charged me twice... No Apology She said if it doesn't drop off to come back and I asked her could she write that on my Receipt of course she refused! I became a member at Costco due to their DEI policies. They have a correct understanding about the definition of DEI. They were very crowded with new memberships and their customer service was good. I hope that in the future, they will be open to other credit cards besides Visa. But I do understand that they are partners. More importantly, they should implement scan and go asap. What can I say about Costco that hasn't been said? It's a giant warehouse with great prices for bulk items, and has a lot of things you can't find just walking into your nearest local grocery store, too. I don't typically frequent this Costco, but I found it to be very similar to the others, as far as setup, craziness in both parking lot and check out lines. You have to be a member to shop here, and there are two different memberships, regular and executive. You can get (I believe) 2% cash back at the end of the year for the executive, but it's also twice as expensive at $120. You can add someone onto your membership, which is a perk so you can send them when you don't feel up to fighting the crowds, parking, etc. Each month, Costco will send out a coupon booklet for various items on sale. The nice thing is you don't actually have to use the coupons at the register, because they automatically take the discount off. Seriously who wants to deal with the hassle of keeping track of coupons these days? If you can get through stuff in a timely fashion, it's so worth the membership. I think I got 12 peaches for something like $13.99, and at Publix, I'll pay at least $1.99 a pound and as you know peaches ain't light. I need to learn my lesson on the grapes though. I just can't get through them, and end up tossing half the container away. Hate being wasteful. An annoyance for me is that some stores carry things that others don't. I have been dying to find some of these pineapple bacon sausages my daughter likes, and they are crazy expensive at Publix, but Costco has a really good price on them. I was told at the Alpharetta store that they don't have them, and none of the other stores do either and there was no upcoming date slated for them to return. Well,I randomly found them here. So excited I bought three packages. And Costco, if you are reading this, please please bring back red onions. They had a great price on these, and I so wish they would come back to the stores. Oh, and their wine selection is decent with $10 or less bottles up to more pricier bottles, and so far, I do find their prices are good compared to wine and grocery stores. The worst, most racist experience I have ever had at any Costco, and probably any establishment. My 92 year old grandmother loves Costco, but as often is the case with older immigrants, she does not have the greatest mastery of the English language. Because of this, she prefers to run errands with someone who can translate for her. Sandy, an elderly employee charged with the granola sample stand, did not seem to understand that it is okay for someone to not speak English. We approached her stand that was giving out brown rice granola. Before eating the sample, I explained to my grandmother in Mandarin what the item was and what to expect. This seemed to throw Sandy into a blind rage and she cut me off to say "at least learn how to say thank you." I was taken aback because firstly, she should have waited for us to finish our conversation and secondly, we know how to say thank you and we would have before we left the stand. I was so surprised by her interjection that it took me a minute to even process what she had just said. I stared blankly at her, and she took the time to say in a voice dripping with venom, "you are welcome." I responded curtly, "you're welcome as well." And I dragged my grandmother away to the check out line before she realized what was going on. I did report the situation to the customer service desk, but I don't think they cared because they didn't take down any information, and merely said, "the manager will take care of it." read more

I ordered a really expensive coat online for so much less and am super happy with that. I love all the different cultures of people that come to shop there. I feel like I am back at home in FL and it's a little piece of heaven for an hour until I leave....lol. When you first sign up you get $60 cash card that comes in the mail which is nice, all the people are helpful, and tons of awesome choices for many styles of diets. Regarding eye exams for glasses, Costco can't be beat! Honestly, I paid slightly more than I did using insurance at my old optician and it was totally worth it. It's open from 10 to 5:30 but they have Saturday appointments. I was in and out quickly and my exam with dilation was only $85! The watery eyes are annoying but dilation can detect more problems. They even provide cool x-ray glasses until the blurriness wears off. But the best part was the selection! They have designer frames. I chose Versace, being the low-maintenance chick I am and they never charge more than 15% above cost! And they got my prescription right the first time. Score! I got polarized, transition frames with all the bells and whistles except computer anti-glare shield (only because it adds a colored tint). Total package was about $350 but cheaper frames would substantially decrease that price. However, I would not recommend Costco for a contact lens exam. Costco charges a one-time $25 fee to demonstrate how to put contacts in and a fee that ranges from $40-$100 for an annual contact lens exam. They also don't recommend dilation ($85) for the exam if you're getting contacts but instead the $125 Optomap eye exam which takes a picture of your eyes. So that's $190-$250 without the cost of contacts. (My insurance would only contribute $50 towards that.) In comparison, In Focus Eye Center (experience & review to come) charges $185 total if you don't have insurance. Costco is still the most affordable place to buy contact lenses after the exam, unless you want to shop online (Lens.com). In short, whether you have insurance or not Costco can't be beat for glasses and an eye exam, just ask Clark Howard! If you need an eye exam for contacts, it may be worth shopping around. read more
