While on the road, I always hitting Costco for a case of water. The selection is the same in most of them. I'm okay with the amount offered and value for the items. I had a very disappointing experience at the Costco Optical department this past weekend. The eye doctor and the office clerk were both amazing, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience completely changed when I was directed to the department where I could choose my frames. The employee who assisted me, Dulce, had a very unpleasant attitude and did not provide the level of customer service I expected. I felt uncomfortable asking questions or getting assistance because of her demeanor. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I decided not to purchase my frames there and took my business elsewhere. I asked my husband to drive us to this Costco to pick up a couple of gifts for Mother's Day, which were only at this Costco location. We got there a little after 10 am and there was a number of parking spaces available. I found what I was looking for and browsed the rest of the store. There were a lot of men's shorts on sale or clearance and we picked up a few for my husband to try on at home. Many customers had orchids or flowers in their carts, assuming they were for special moms to celebrate them this weekend. The store got increasingly crowded and by the time we left lines were pretty long for checkout. However, they moved quickly. I'd visit this location again if in the area. read more

I took my daughter to the independent optometrist at Costco to get a new prescription. We bought a pair at WB and she couldn't see clearly at a distance. They took them back and installed new lenses with a different progressive range. She still couldn't see clearly at a distance. I finally paid the independent optometrist at WB to provide a second prescription. A completely new pair of glasses to the second prescription worked perfectly. The first prescription was simple incorrect; it wasn't strong enough. read more

Large parking lot area and decent sized parking spots for a wholesale club. Standard variety of products inside and the store layout was intuitive and easy to follow. Pretty busy even before closing time but did not take too long to check out. Staff are busy restocking, cleaning, and leading people through the checkout. This location is near LAX so you can spot some planes landing and arriving overhead. The gas station is on the other side of the store with easy entry and exit, not too busy at night with some very short lines. read more

Stopped into Costco and the place had a great flow that day. Sometimes Costco can feel packed, but the aisles moved smoothly and the prices were strong. I was able to pick up some good things for the holidays before the crowds got heavy. The checkout lines were quick and the staff handled everything with ease. It's a been while since I've last visited this grocery warehouse. This staff has remained friendly as see new faces and some old. I'm in here to the 4th July shopping and the store is not so crowded as soon as they open for the general public. The cashier was fast at ring up your items. You can't beat the hotdog combo from Costco still probably one of the cheapest places to get that combo $1.50 for a hotdog and it's a pretty big size and a drink. That's crazy with a slice of pizza 550 for two combos and a slice of pizza that's super cheap. I don't really come to this location anymore. It's always packed specially today. I just realized it's close to the first of the month so everybody's using their EBT cards no wonder all the cards are to the capacity and the lines are ridiculous. I sure hope that Daniel Carrillo assigned to my delivery this morning has been fired. We were awaiting bedroom furniture to be delivered and I have four pieces that were to be taken back per your haul away directions. He denied this and said that only two of the items were to be taken back and that we couldn't get delivery until the room was clean and I said what!?? We also bought a headboard and two end tables and he can't take them?!?! I asked to talk to a supervisor and he gave me a dispatch person who tried to call me back and couldn't get through. I told him we can't leave the bedroom like this. I said I just got diagnosed with BRAIN CANCER, and I need a bed. And he immediately said that I was rude to him and that he was canceling our delivery and that they would reschedule it. In the meantime, we had moved the two pieces that he wanted gone out into the hallway and I told him that and I said we've moved those two pieces so let's deliver it now and he said NO! it's been rescheduled!!!! MY BED WAS RIGHT OUTSIDE!!! Are you kidding me? I'm disgusted by this guy and his morals and his poor poor Customer Service. I really hope that he gets fired or reprimanded. I had an apology from great guy in dispatch, which was very very great, but I would like this guys supervisor to call me. We have delivery now on Monday even though our bed was outside feet away. Absolute terrible service from employees on almost every visit .Seems like Costco has lowered their standards significantly and are desperate for employees . Lots of rude /ignorant staff work at this location. You can tell the difference between this location and others clearly, I was told this for many years and have understood why now. Staff need to be trained on proper etiquette. For many this is the best job they have ever had so they should learn how to act like a respectable adult instead of what they are portraying . The food court set up is horrendous. 30-45 minute wait in the line to pick up food, not including a whole pizza, dessert, drink order. There was another line for the whole pizza orders that had a 30-45 minute wait. Total wait time for food & dessert, including whole pizza, 1 hr to 1 hr & 15 mins. Dessert melted while waiting for the pizza & there were no spoons to enjoy the dessert. I like Costco, BUT they need to do better here & serve the community right. read more

The good: My husband and I love going to various Costcos outside of our city so we decided to try this one today. There were so many samples here! The fans were blowing strong for cool air. The sample guy for grilled cheese sandwiches was friendly and urged me to get more than one piece. The lines were long but moved quickly. The bad: This was a super busy Costco with a hectic parking lot. The food carts not in use were lined up by the dairy section and taking up space. We didn't see white vinegar here. They didn't sell the larger packs of eggs. Cartons in the dairy section were messily arranged. Bananas were heavily sorted thru and some mushed. Costco has the best food court. The food court in Inglewood is outside. My favorites are hot hogs and salad. The Hot Dogs come with a soda for $1.50. The Rotisserie Chicken Salad is super tasty. The salad has Costco's signature rotisserie chicken, lettuce, cheese, croutons and salad dressing. You can sip your drink, eat your food and enjoy the atmosphere. read more

Too crowded. Carts are hard to push through the store. I injured myself a few times. Customers are very rude to you. Very toxic environment. Prices are not that low. Extremely bad customer service at this location. Food court is crowded, understaffed and the food is not made right. There's a lack of black employees now. This is Inglewood, so while shopping at this location I didn't see any black employees while shopping midweek except a single one. Management doesn't seem to think the overhead fans should be on to move air, there's still germs and viruses everywhere. Every time I shop here the fans are shutoff. This Costco is great... with one hug exception. This Costco is large, nice, and has a good selection. It doesn't feel overcrowded, even on a Sunday afternoon. Which is nice. The food court has plenty of seating, another big plus. There are plenty of check outs and self check outs, and the lines move pretty quickly. So why not five stars? The parking lot (especially the entrance and around the gas station) is a DISASTER. I mean, an absolute DISASTER. Seriously, why can't Costco figure out parking lots? I was shopping for a new mattress and I stumble across a mattress mark for $199.99 and when I went to the checkout. The cashier proceeded to give me a different total than the original price. I explained that, that wasn't as marked and was told they were sending someone to go check if the merchandise was place under that label. Then they proceeded to blame one of the members of moving the merchandise to that label. I went under Costco policy and it says "Yes, if you find merchandise in the wrong spot with a different price and bring it to the register, Costco will generally honor the lower price, as it's considered an honest mistake in the customer's favor. Costco's policy is to honor the posted price, and this applies even if the price tag was incorrectly placed" I then showed the manager on duty Tanya and was totally dismissed, she didn't bother to correct the wrong doing of the miss labeling! Normally I would leave a 5 star review but today's experience was HORRIBLE. A lady in a tan sweatshirt and a bald man wearing a minty green shirt at cashwrap gave the worst customer service. I went in with my mom and I used to use her membership because I was not above age to own a membership of my own yet. Normally workers didn't have an issue with this and would help us split the bill accordingly. I recently bought a membership and they would not let me scan my membership and the lady gave my mom an attitude when my mom tried to explain to her what we normally would do. While I tried to get her to scan my membership she refused and said we could only do one bill and had to do one payment. I had my own membership I don't understand why she couldn't just scan that membership if it was not the same one?? Will definitely be avoiding these two workers and will be asking for a manager to assist next time because there was no reason for her attitude or refusing my membership. And I believe the guy is some sort of management position and did not help out he just stood there and watched her act like that. I see him often walking around the cashwraps.
