I have been coming to this warehouse since 2 years ago, but since it was very busy during the COVID-19 pandemic and the lineup was too long, especially on evenings and during weekends, I stopped going. But, now that we are in the phase 3 of business reopening, they have increased the warehouse capacity and I'm happy to do shopping here again. The dairy products, fruits and meat are fresh. I have stopped by on a few occasions. It was mainly for the gas station. It's the same like any other Costco (with a gas station or not). It's located in a plaza like the one on Mavis (Heartland Town Center). It's a lot better compared to Mavis location (in terms of a lot less things are places with unrelated things). read more

My review is 3.5 stars. Perhaps this store will grow on me when I visit it more. I like hitting the food court. What's not to love about a hot dog and a drink for $1.61 with tax? Soft serve ice cream? Yes, please! I suggested to a couple of colleagues that we should visit Costco for lunch sometime. That sometime was last Friday. I drove everyone over there for lunch. It was my first visit. Parking isn't as crazy at this Costco than others. I suppose it's because the area has tons of food and box stores. Parking seems vast. I backed into a parking spot. My colleague sitting next to me said, "I wish I had your [driving] confidence," which was sweet. We hit the food court just before noon. I got a hot dog with a drink, and an order of fries with gravy. I split the latter with my intern. She also got a hot dog. My colleague got an order of fries and gravy. Customers are friendly here. One older gentleman helped when my intern was looking for onions. He advised that you can ask when you order your food. They come in little plastic containers. Sure enough, my intern went back to the counter, asked, and she got her onions! Same goes for hot peppers. We found a table and chowed down. The hot dog was yummy. You can't go wrong with one. However, the fries weren't as good as the other locations. The fries weren't hot (let's say that they were mildly warm) and didn't have any salt on them. My intern found salt and added it, which helped. The gravy was okay. Afterwards, we browsed around the store. The merchandise was nicely organized. All my favourite snacks were available. The optical section had a nice selection of frames. We also sampled freshly popped popcorn. All was good. I may give the fries another try and see whether they are better next time. Went here for a quick in and out shop, but actually bought more than what I expected to (happens ALL THE TIME). Not sure why I even bother going to a costco when I want to save on wholesale price but end up spending at least $100 each time! Anyways, I've been to several different costco locations and I found this as the cleanest one and least busy - it could be because I went on a Thursday afternoon around 1:30. This location also seems to have way more clothes compared to the one near my area. There were samples all over the place at the time I went. All the produce, fruits, meats, and seafood look fresh. Checkout was quick, but our cash didn't have the helper who put the items back in your cart, I had to do that myself. Overall, satisfied with this Costco. read more

I've been a member ever since this location opened. It is within a shopping plaza. Surprisingly I always find parking even on the weekends. This location has 24 gas pumps! It cut down the line up ever since the installed the extra 8 pumps. The entrance is more accessible from the south because they place pylons to make it difficult to make a right turn from the north. Last month they installed self check out! This has made my shopping here more convenient and efficient. I can't explain how fast this line is. Costco now has a mobile app where you can now have you card in your phone. You have to register it at customer service first. Now I have one less card to carry on me. I leave my card in the car because I do need the physical card to pump gas. For the food court section you can also order through a touch screen monitor. It is so quick and easy! No more waiting in a long line for food. Also is it just me or they replaced their light bulb because the warehouse looks a little brighter. read more

Food court employees are idiots I ordered a dog and soda and she didn't give me the cup. She kept saying that is what you ordered after multiple repeated attempts to explain it to her I finally got another employee to come out to take a look at the sign and she agreed that oh yes you're missing the cup and then picked up the cup and had it to me so it takes somebody to show a picture of a soda and a hot dog to them to explain that that's what you meant. I mean I showed the reciept and she kept saying that is without tax 1.50 it is 1.62 with tax. If I had the time I would have tracked down the manager to point out the level of idiot they have. read more

I haven't been to Costco in years. I used to have a membership and I let it run out years ago. I always debate whether it's worth getting a membership again. When we did go shopping at Costco the experience was always not the greatest. The reason being is that the place can get really crowded and unpleasant. All those experiences were with the Costco once up near Yorkdale the the one that I've been going to for years in Etobicoke near the Queensway and Islington. I've made some big purchases at Costco in the past namely a mattress, an entertainment console, a watch, GPS (back in the day) and they do have good stuff there. Good food, great fish and meat, cheese etc. Today I returned because I had to fill out a prescription. My company is trying to see if the employees can go to Costco to fill their prescriptions in an attempt to lower costs for our benefits. Being that we get covered 100% for our prescriptions it's honestly not much to ask. The pharmacy is all the way on the far wall opposite of the entrance near the vitamins etc just past the check outs. There's a window where you drop the prescriptions and a counter at the other end where you go to pick it up. Upon dropping your prescription you are given a ticket with a time that your prescription will be ready for pick up at the pick up area. It was rather quiet when I went but the turn around time was 25 minutes according to the ticket. It was ready maybe 20 minutes after and I did wait for it since I couldn't really shop in the store and didn't want to come back later. This store however is clean, new, and while I didn't go during non prime time the store was very clean and well kept. For what it's worth if you've seen one Costco you've seen them all as far as the layout but this one seemed particularly bright I have to say if you're going to shop here going during the morning as opposed to a weekend afternoon is far less busy. This location is actually closer to where I live than the one in Etobicoke (the city I live in) so I will definitely be coming back for all my prescriptions and I may get my membership again. Oh if I forgot to mention it, you do not need a membership to access the pharmacy so that is a huge bonus. The reason our company is wanting us to try to fill our scripts at Costco is because they supposedly have the best prices on both services AND pharmaceuticals so if you don't have benefits, this is the place to go if you have to pay for it yourself. read more

Always like going to Costco as they keep changing their products seasonally. While in Toronto we decided to visit this to check it out. This location was so busy and finding a parking was so tough. We wanted to get the gas also filled up in our vehicle but the lines were so long that we decided to skip it. Checked out their clothes aisles. There was a large variety of winter options available at this time along with gloves, hats etc. I liked the soft shell ladies jacket which was available in different colors and were pretty. Also had a good variety of serving bowls and utensils available. We always get the quinoa salad from here. They also have rotisserie whole chicken for 7.99 which is such a good option. There were lot of sampling stations and we got to try a number of things including cookies, bread, crab dip, roasted zucchini etc. Checkout lines were huge and while many counters were open, it took awhile to pay and come out. This location only accepts MasterCard or cash and doesn't take visa. read more

This location is set up slightly different than the majority of the chain (it seems backwards) so finding things can take a little longer. This is the newest addition to CostCo's in GTA. I guess a lot of people don't know this location as there are hardly any lineups here unlike most of the other CostCo I have been. Even on the weekend I was in an out in in less than half an hour. Just perfect in my book. My affinity towards CostCo has been built on the unbeatable Cost/Value proposition they offer and the unmatched return policy they have is just icing on the cake. The variety of items is a bit better than other location IMO. Couple that with the low wait times I would say this is on the better CostCo in GTA. Too bad I can't bet here without a car though I would say worth the extra driving to get away from the Queensway location which is a mad house on the weekend. 4 Stars. read more

This is particularly directed at the Pharmacy which beats out both the Winston Churchill AND Heartland locations! As soon as you drop off your prescription, you get a receipt with the pick-up time printed on it. This is very convenient for those of you who have dealt with Costco's Pharmacies and their ridiculous wait-times. At the other locations, they'll give you a time, you go shopping around, come back at the stated time, and it's not ready. SO you're forced to shop some more and come back, waiting approx. 1.5hrs in total. :S My mom stopped by the Pharmacy 5-minutes prior to the time printed on her receipt and guess what? It was all ready for pick-up! Easy, breezy. Another bonus? This location is by far less busy to the other 3-neighbouring Costcos which makes it less frustrating and a quicker in-and-out...if that's even a possibility here. Today, the staff were very rude & herding customers like animals in packs. A lady staff member checking receipts on the way out accused me of "taking my sweet time" on the way out the door while she was reaching for my receipt from afar, while the customer next to her's child was slowly and unsafely trying to push a buggy out the door in front of me by herself with no parental supervision or concern. I had to stand up for myself and put the lady Costco employee in her place & I clearly stated to her that the girl in front of me is visibly dragging her legs pushing a huge heavy cart & I don't want to hit her with my cart to rush fast enough for the Costco employees approval. I also saw another employee yelling at people rudely to move out & move out of the way, while she was not giving any useful directions to customers as to which line to go to. If this other Costco employee thought she was directing traffic by the cash out area, it presented more like herding packs of unruly animals on a farm. Grow some manners Costco employees! read more

And looks like not a people know about it yet, because to my joy, it's almost always not-so-crowded - I can get my gas without having to wait in line; I can always find a free table to enjoy my hotdog; I don't have to stand in a long lineup to make my Costco purchase; I can be chatty about my car with the guys at the Auto Center without having to worry about a line-up behind me. Also, let's talk about the convenient location. Need groceries... don't need the bulk? There's a Walmart right across from here! Baking for a special occasion? There's a Bulk Barn right across from this location. Want food? Five Guys and more choices. Want to pick up beer? Beer Store! Want to pick up some alcohol for that party? You got the LCBO in the same mall. I absolutely love the all-in-one-ness of this location... especially compared to Heartland and Queensway, having all of it in the same centre rocks. Its Costco,and even though its a new store, everything is in order. The main issue at this location is the small restaurant therein, that part needs work. The pizza was burnt, and the pop machine just dispensed soda instead of coke. They also do not have the sourkrout, etc for the sausage that the other locations do. I actually don't very like to come to this location because it is located in high traffic area in Mississauga and also it has a Costco Gas Station...the result will be packed.... However, if you go in the weekend, its isn't that bad. Today, I came to grab some cherries for my friend but I couldn't find any regular cherries. They had rainbow cherries, but they didn't look too fresh. I know rainbow cherries are easy to get bruises because their skin is quite soft and thin and also white. Just came back from this Costco for the first time. Finding the entrance was a bit difficult to find only because it is at the back of the Walmart plaza. For a mid Saturday afternoon I was quite impressed by how calm the store was. It was not overwhelmingly busy which was nice. I knew what I needed and I wanted to make sure it was a quick in and out trip. I was able to pick up the things I needed and make my way out - they were not too difficult to find even though the configuration of the store was different. There were plenty of food samples to go around which is always nice. Also the cash register lines were not too busy at all. That was the best part of the whole experience. This is our go to store for most things. Generally we love it. However, low score is due to the parking lot and the congestion that the Costco gas station causes. Management you have to address because the shear volume of people trying to get gas literally blocks almost every intersection into and out of the parking lot and the way it routes through the lot it cuts off a 1/3rd of your parking. Customer service reps at this location has very poor service including the lady manager, which is unacceptable. I was there to apply for new membership and was forced to get the Executive membership. I've even heard the lady complained to the guy why not tell me about the Executive one. Well, I said I knew about it but do not need it, I just need the regular membership, but she still pushed me. She ignored what I insisted, and asked me to let her finish, so I had to stand there to waste my time, to get "educated" about Costco Executive membership, about what i've already knew. Maybe this is why this location is not as crowded as the others even though that this one has been opened for almost a year. I left this location to go to the one in Heatland to apply. There is such a thing as being "too helpful" While filling up for cheap gas, the lady who was helping me decided to show me how to use the new pin (which I was already familiar with) and she swiped my card. Flustered I forgot the pin and took longer than usual because I had the generic pin with me. I thought I had the number right and I forgot it. She pushed me to move along. I wasn't ready to go. Then my card ended up canceling because of the pin. Frustrated I went inside to complain. One of them went to speak to someone else. The guy said that it wasn't their fault which is true in a way but the point was I didn't have time to stay. Had they taken me seriously they would have taken my information down. I left in a huff to say the least. The so called manager who wasn't really the manager verified this because I called Costco didn't do anything to my satisfaction. Had someone not accused me of doing things wrong in the first place I wouldn't have forgotten this stupid pin. Needless to say I called Costco and they reimbursed the money for my membership. I'm to angry to remember if I cancelled my card or not. By the way if you have an Amex Costco card they automatically charge you for the membership every year that you have the card. read more

I have been taking my 2009 lancer to Costco for my regular oil changes for over a year now. After waiting for about an hour the technician told me that the car was ready so after paying my bill, the technician told me that if i notice that oil is leaking from the oil pan to bring the car back to have them look at it because this happens after a period of time. Worst tire center ever. When I went here first time, they told me that comeback few days later since few selected models of winter tire will be on sale. I went back on the day they advised, and they told me the sale had been postponed and advised me to come back 4 days later. So I waited 4 more days and went back. It was the very first day of the tire sale started and they told me they don't have anything in stock and I might have to wait for 4 months. 4 months??? winter will be over by then! Obviously I didn't want to wait 4 months so I chose other model which was not on sale..and that one was also back ordered and the sales person told me that it would take a week..I didn't mind waiting for a week so I paid for 4 tires and installation fee and gave my number so they can call when the tire is available. I waited a week but no call...so I called them but no pick up. I tried so many times and two different days but they NEVER PICK UP THEIR PHONE!!! I finally gave up and called admin. She was nice and checked if my tires were in. and guess what...they were in warehouse since 5 days ago. The admin I spoke to said she will pass my number to tire center so they could call me but never got any call. So I called again and again and again for one hour and finally a man answered. I made complain with the fact they didn't contact me in timely manner and only thing he said was that they left me a massage. There was no massage at all. My cell phone doesn't even have any voice mail service. I told him there was nothing I received but he didn't give a shit. He was very brazen; "the computer has comment we left you a massage so that's it" ......I was speechless with his attitude. Not even a word of 'sorry' He was acting like he was doing some kind of favor to me by letting me book an appointment for something I paid for already. I want to file a complaint against this location but it seems like costco doesn't even have customer complain center. No wonder why their customer service is so shitty. read more
