What a great wholesale store! There were a wide variety of well priced items to choose from on the inside. I was impressed by how much they could fit in one store. To my surprise, this Costco was pretty clean. Typically, big stores like this are pretty dirty but this store was not! The service here was great. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the staff. Good service! The parking spots in the parking lot were very wide which was nice. in the middle of a rain storm, I stopped to get gas at Costco and realized that I had forgotten my membership card, I have not loaded my information onto my app either and previously when I had done this, a worker had helped me out and stand their own membership card so that I was able to get gas. This time I was met by a very rude and hostile response from a worker named Andrew, before the store was even open so he was the only Costco employee there as well and he absolutely refused in the middle of the rain storm to help me. Absolutely ridiculous customer service, and very rude. Clearly does not enjoy doing his job. That definitely did not affirm my experience with Costco at all as in the past it has been completely different. read more

So we took the drive to Tulsa to come to Costco and I was kinda disappointed about this visit. The store wasn't too busy but it really wasn't that shiny clean like the other Costcos we've been to. This store carried a low selection of beers n wines but no hard liquor which kinda sucked. We noticed this Costco didn't have half as much inventory like the bigger Costcos we've been to. If I could give this store a 10, I would. Been coming here for years. I am beyond happy with the customer service of every employee. Everyone has gone above and beyond and never been or shown a bad mood. I love that I can get so many items on sale to get the best bang for my buck. The products are of highest quality, not just value. if you purchase a product that is not up to your standards, they will gladly return it, with minimal exceptions. While you were here, go ahead and gas up as the gas is at least $.20 per gallon less. read more

I like Costco overall, but sometimes it's overwhelming. Mostly related to the customers and the workers, not necessarily the size of the place (which is big) and the amount of items. People are just rude in here some days, especially over samples. I get it, the workers are being pushed to the limits and the shoppers are just ready to get out of there by the time they get to checkout. My husband used to work at a Costco (not this one) so he's told me some stories. Basically by the time I leave this place I am just over it and I question why I keep coming back lol. They have a good selection of things but not exactly items I need for daily life like Sam's Club does. They're kind of like Trader Joe's in that you can find great stuff, but I wouldn't do all of my regular shopping there. Could Costco and Sam's just merge into one store, please? LOL. The entrance and exit are like Fort Knox and you can't use the food court, like Sam's Club, if you don't have a membership. Thankfully there is ample parking and always lot of carts. Things do run out here so if you see something you want you basically have to grab it. I suggest visiting mid-week, or weekends after the sampling time for the day. If you go around noon on a Saturday or Sunday you are taking your life in your hands. read more

Went to Costco this afternoon to try some of their food, we decided on their churro and strawberry sundae. The churro was only $1.49 and the cream was pretty cheap as well. You order/pay at a kiosk and will get a receipt with your order number. The food came out FAST! The churro had a great taste but was V E R Y flakey and not chewy at all. I was hoping it would have more of a chewy. The ice cream was super velvety and full of strawberry flavor! For the price, they were great! Next time I want to try the chicken bake! read more

The auto center is terrible. Long delays do not honor warranties on flimsy grounds. Discount has many many options for tires usually in the neighborhood and one does not have to drive halfway across the town and wait for 'service'. Another stop that is just for gas, I did not have a need to go inside the warehouse store today. Costco has some of the least expensive fuel around, likely because it is subsidized by the annual membership fee. Diesel, premium and regular. My little Pontiac takes the cheap stuff thankfully and 9.5 gallons later, we have a full tank that will last me well into Missouri. The gas pump area is one way for better efficiency. I absolutely hate this place. I always have. everything about this place is designed for slow shopping. There are no fast trips to Costco. There is a line Just to get into the building. A long meandering line of elderly people riding those electric carts. The parking lot is very inconvenient. On a Monday at 12 o'clock. I still had a park all the way in the back. So busy all the time. The layout is not intuitive. Sure there are sections for things. But then they're just things out in the middle of the store and on end caps. The lines to check out are long too. People go to Costco to buy carts full of things. Yes, there is a self checkout area but it is not as good as Sam's. Self check out here lacks the scan gun. You have to unload every item from your cart, scan it, leave it on a scale, and then pack it all back up. Sam's is better than Costco in every way except leaving Costco is faster than Sam's. Sam's the exit line always gets so backed up and Costco it not an issue. I come here is because there are certain brands they carry that you can't find anywhere else in the city. read more

I love Costco. I love how they pay their workers a living wage (unlike Sam's), I like the way it is setup inside generally, and I like the prices on their food and other items in the store, although this Costco does not have the same items a number of other Costco's have. The Tulsa version is about 3/4 of a regular Costco, much like the Trader Joe's and WholeFoods here. My biggest letdown with Costco here is their gas prices. Traveling around the country, I save good money buying Costco gas rather than retail, usually saving anywhere from $.20 to $.70 a gallon. Times 10-15 gallons that adds up to real cash savings. Here in Tulsa ur looking at saving anywhere from $.03 to $.10 a gallon, a HUGE disappointment. Not sure why that is but it's not worth driving out to Bixby just to save a few cents on gas unless my tank is almost empty. Also not a fan of how this location DID NOT enforce the mask requirements that other Costcos across the country did. It is a drag to go to these national chains around the country and then see how disappointing they can be in Tulsa. read more

Of course. Who doesn't love Costco. Glendale and Hayden locations have a great drive-thru $8.00 carwash. In these crazy inflationary times Costco really cares and give you more value. Its just me and wife as our kids are gone. Still buy there and supplement for smaller or items I can't get at Costco and make a stop at Walmart I always carried a "executive" member at Costco and it always pays more than the membership. I couple that with their Citi bank credit card. Always get a fairly large rebate on that card but just make sure you can pay it in full at end of month to make it worth it. read more

Was in Tulsa so of course I had to look for a Costco. I've notice that different Costco carries different things. There were lots of things that I have never seen before but 3 things that completely caught my eye: Ivar's Clam Chowder ($10): Whenever I go to Washington State, I make it a point to go to Ivar's for their delicious clam chowder. So to see the soup at a Tulsa Costco, completely intrigued me. Ivar's Loaded Potato Soup ($9): I've never tried this soup at Ivar's in Washington State but I bet it's pretty good. Vietnamese Pho Bowl ($8): I don't think that I can ever eat instant pho. But never say never. Overall, I love all Costco's!!! read more

It's reached a tipping point. This Costco location needs to do better. Let me make myself very clear. I've been going to Costco since I was a baby. From California to New Jersey, I have been to quite a few locations around the nation. My family has held an executive membership for a seemingly immeasurable amount of time. With that being said - I come to Costco to shop in peace, spend my hard earned money, and to engage in a little retail therapy. I DON'T come to Costco to be watched over by power tripping narcissistic staff who think everyone is a suspect and are clearly and obviously salivating at the thought of catching someone like me try to leave the store with a shopping cart full of goods, out of hopes to make themselves look better. The last couple times I've been here, I kept asking myself why I feel guilty just by walking into this store? Surely it's just me that is just making myself feel unwelcome, right? Additionally, upon leaving the store I got a demeaning comment "we wErE wondErinG wheN yOu werE goinG to leaVe, you were here a while..." I live several hours away and am spending hundreds of dollars so I hope that answers your unsolicited and unkind thought. I don't really want a correlation to the nazi gestapo or stasi, but why does it keep coming into my mind? WHY? It's truly appalling how hard it seemingly is to be accommodating to the people who help pay you an actual living wage. Costco is Costco you go there to buy in bulk for your families mostly if you have children the prices are getting ridiculously high. Used to be able to go there and get steaks pure beef a pack of five for $25-30 now for 2or 3 can cost you $50 to 75 dollars easily. It's crazy. I previously, 2020, wrote a Yelp review for the Costco in Tulsa, I gave them one star and wrote about our experience in the store with some of the associates. When I wrote the review, I indicated we would not renew our membership when it expired, but we did because of a few items we can't get at Sam's. When I reviewed the store in 2020, I justified some of the associate's rudeness to having a bad day... it has gotten so much worse and I no longer believe a bad day is the case. The only thing I can come up with regarding the new associates, and particularly the new managers, is they're hiring anything that completes an application. It doesn't appear they are hiring individuals based on their customer service skills or intellectual skills, especially the newer managers. The new managers at Costco, the Tulsa Costco, are very much like McDonald's and Walmart managers when they get the vest, you know the attitude I'm referring to that comes with the vest. There is one particular manager who literally has no business having any interaction whatsoever with customers... I don't know if she is new or came from another store, but the person I'm referring to is Saman_ha. Saman_ha is an unpleasant individual with no recognizable qualities... I suspect she is one of the no other option hires. We have a few months left on our current membership and will shop at the Owasso store till it expires. Hopefully it's better... hopefully some of the original employees and managers from the Tulsa store transferred to that location. It's out of the way for us, but It will be worth it to avoid the frustration. read more

Buyer BEWARE of the location! A really bad encounter followed by a positive response from management. Over the years my family and I have been loyal Costco members. Having an Executive level membership, we have frequented locations across the country to include online purchases everything from cars, vacations, furniture, and more -- without any issues until today at the Tulsa location on Memorial Drive. My children and I were made to feel uncomfortable when we were questioned about one item that did not show on the self checkout list. I had not ever experienced a counting of my items with hands touching each item during a pandemic. I thought that self-checkout was totally defeated, which was utilized to reduce risk of COVID exposure. However, we waited while the touch and counting continued on each and every item. Initially, I was confused about the issue and began looking at my receipt that totaled almost 500 dollars, which was back in my possession at the time, when the door checker employee snatched the receipt from my hands and walked away to speak with another employee then began writing something in a log. Left at the door for a few minutes that seemed like a eternity with no explanation, we were confused about what was happening. When the Costco employee returned we were met with more extreme aggression and later learned that the paper towels did not register on the receipt. The humiliating encounter continued with inappropriate comments, facial expressions, and a rude tone. I was offered an opportunity to pay for the paper towels but after the embarrassment and ridicule, I declined just to remove us from what seemed like more than an overreaction. We departed the store and after calming my kids down from the incident, I called the manager to report the incident. She handled the situation well and advised that she would address the bad behavior. The problem is that the damage is done. My children were upset during the ride home and asked that they not ever have to go back. Basically, they have concluded that we specifically as customers are not wanted there. Still left confused why we were treated as criminals. Really, who is stealing one insignificant item among a bunch of things costing more individually and while paying a half a grand during a singular shopping trip -- REALLY. I am still contemplating if we should escalate to the corporate office. I just want to know that this unacceptable behavior does not represent Costco or this location that the employee will be reprimanded, and therefore sending a strong message regarding the harm her behavior resulted in -- both to the Costco brand and its customers. read more

My wife and were probably what you would call "Rabid Costco Customers." We have been members since 1991. In every town that we have lived in across the western USA, since 1991 there has been a Costco. We decided to move back to Tulsa in 2014. It was disappointing to find out that Tulsa still didn't have a Costco. I grew up in Oklahoma so I understood {and accept} how backward this state is (liquor laws, eyeglasses, etc. etc.). Our goofy laws and the fact that this is in the back yard of Walmart /Sam's country, is perhaps, why Costco was not eager to establish an outlet here. When we moved to back to Oklahoma, we moved into a new house. We did not bring any furniture from our previous residence. We bought at least 75% of our furniture from Costco on line. The white glove delivery was flawless. Still, no Costco in town. We have purchased our glasses at Costco since they have been selling them. They are of the highest quality and the best price compared to any retailer (one of the top rated by Consumer Reports). No Costco here then, so we drove to Dallas, Houston, or Wichita KS to order our glasses and had them mailed to us. Never a problem. It was great to finally have the store on S. Memorial open. Since its opening we have purchased, more furniture, appliances, tires, auto batteries, food, paper products, laundry and dish washing supplies. I have never had a bad experience with any of the Costco personnel. Today's great experience is what prompted me to write this review. I won't go into details, but I feel I was treated very fairly and I am happy with the outcome. Great service at the front desk and by the store manager. Thank You! I will admit, that I think there has been some decline in the quality of some of their products. I have stopped buying beef, their processed/prepared foods (deli section entrees/and frozen entrees, etc.,) and snack products. Some of the snacks we have tried were just plain gross. Their deluxe mixed nuts got so bad we quit buying them. We used to buy a lot of clothing items there, but the quality too seems to have declined. Some of this may be due to our change in taste and preferences. Overall I see a decline in Costco quality. But, I will emphasize that the people that work at Costco have always been friendly and respectful to us. And Wow! We now have Costco Optical!!! read more

I have waited to post this because I had such an awful experience and did not want my emotions from the incident to interfere with my review. I had a trip to Costco with my terminal grandmother and sister. My grandmother always loved Costco so we were trying to have a great day out. I had a lot of emotions wrapped up in this day so did not feel it was right to post this negative review at the time. All that to say I have decided to go forward with posting this review in the hopes that this man is reprimanded for how he treats other human beings. My grandmother, sister and I went to the checkout after a fun shopping trip. Scott was our cashier and was immediately very abrasive. I had grabbed some of the fresh food and a drink for my n grandmother for after the trip. Scott immediately ripped the cart out of my sisters hand without saying anything. He then pulled it further to put it to his side and spilt the drink he gave us no time or warning to grab. After spilling the drink he demanded I clean it up. I worked at grocery stores in school where we were trained on good customer service and could not imagine ever having a customer clean up a mess, especially that one I as the employee caused myself. Having a customer clean up a mess made goes against all protocols I am familiar with. Anyways my shock overshadowed that thought so I just asked if he had anything for me to clean it with where he then yelled at another employee walking by to grab paper towels. I then helped her clean up the mess Scott made by his abrasive actions. He then told me to put the stuff in the cart in that he was ringing up. I didn't hear everything he said to my grandmother who had Parkinson's and was easily flustered, but I know he was very abrasive to her. I know he was extremely difficult with the entire checkout process between him, my grandmother, and sister. I know he was being extremely rude and raised his voice about my nana splitting up the order on two cards. By the time we got in the vehicle my grandmother who had been nervous to leave the house with Parkinson's was in tears about her anxiety after that interaction. His abrasives made her feel so unwelcome. I want to say she did great this day btw so it was especially hurtful. I don't remember everything that was said, but I have never had another human, especially one working with customers be so dehumanizing to people. My grandmother was slower about how she did everything, because again, she was suffering from Parkinson's. She passed a couple months ago and I was reflecting on how awful this experience was for my family and I and just felt inclined to leave a review on this experience. I really hope Scott has either found a new path or faced reality and realized how to treat people like actual human beings. We cancelled her Costco membership and did not renew one of our own. I hope you all train people in customer service and don't talk to people as though they are less than you. read more

OPTICAL DEPARTMENT. Recently, my wife and I travelled to see our son and family in Tulsa and went to get a few things from COSTCO. I decided to have my eye glasses adjusted at the Optical department. WOW! I wish I would have taken note of the ladies' name! I think that it began with "M" like Mary, but, I can't remember. I know that her tag stated 2016. I think that she might be a manager there. She took SO MUCH TIME to adjust my glasses and made me feel so important! Other employees were very friendly and professional. WELL MANAGED STORE! read more

Typical wholesale club with 3 membership levels. $55 for Gold Star or Business members, $110 for an Executive Membership which earns you 2% reward on qualified purchases and other discounts ts on travel, etc. I joined with the Executive Membership as they told me if I didn't earn the difference in the 2% rewards they would refund the difference up to $55. Very clean store and staff is always eager to help find anything you may be hunting. They have fewer checkout lines than Sam's, but always get me out much faster than Sam's.
