I want to alert people to the wonderful service and discounts you get at the Costco Hearing Center. They have top line hearing aids, and mine were less than $2000. Costco is still our bi-weekly weekend stop and by far our favorite wholesale store in this area and has been since they opened in Tulsa. There is still a good selection of seafood and meat especially during weekends. We like strolling around the store and discovering new products! Now with the addition of beer and wine in the store it will easily become our one stop shop for us! The rotisserie chicken is still great for a good price at less than $5. They added many frozen products as well so we can stock our freezer for quick meals during busy days. Definitely worth the membership for us! read more

After traveling for 22 months in our RV, we've bought our share ( and more) of items at Costco. being from MD, I actually purchased a home that was walking distance of a Costco! That's how much I love Costco! That said, this location has to be the worst I've ever been in. 1. We've bought rotisserie chicken at this location three times. The first was not fully cooked. We tried again. Not fully cooked. One more trial after talking to an employee who stuck a meat thermometer in the bird to show us. (?). It was still white!! What part of a COOKED chicken is so hard. And..... the blandest chicken I have ever tried to eat. We gave much of the chicken to our dogs. What don't you do that every other Costco in the contiguous US does? Call one and find out. 2. No masks. No social distancing. 3. You have to ask for straws for the fountain drinks. Then they make you feel like you're the problem, as I witnessed twice. I don't use straws, but people shouldn't be made to feel bad about asking. 4. The condiments were gross at the food court. I'm sure there is more, but I shouldn't have to cook a chicken I paid you to cook for me. That's enough. This Costco is not up to others we've been in. read more

Every time I come into Costco (it's been about 5 times now) and 90% of the employees are always so rude. It never fails. I visited when they first opened and it was the same thing. Flash forward to July 21st, 2019-same issue. Poorly trained employees and the cashiers lack of customer service skills. I did two separate transactions. I have a business membership and the cashier wouldn't let me use a different Visa card from the same household business for the second transaction. I used it anyways and told her as she handed over my receipt. Thank god this membership didn't come out of my own pocket. read more

I usually have no issues with Costco. Today was the exception. I went shopping for my mother in law, filled my basket to the brim with staples then proceeded to check out. All was well until the manager had to approve the transaction since it wasn't my name on the membership card. I explained how my mother in law was sick, I was just trying to get her groceries since covid is still a thing. After driving 50 miles to the store I was rejected service. I've done this for her multiple times before but I suppose it's just now an issue. They really should be more Lenient considering we are in a global pandemic. read more

My fave thing about Costco is their meat and deli section. I actually came in this day to pick up a chicken pot pie for dinner. They have a great selection of ready to cook meals. My husband likes to smoke meat on his Hasty Bake and we usually get meat here because it's always great quality and prices. This day they happened to be putting out chicken salad which I love. I told the gentleman that I like it but it's always too much for just me to eat. He said because it's weight based he could package as much of little as I want. I am visiting my parent's new house in Tulsa for the first time. It is in a very convenient piece of real estate as this wonderful Costco and numerous other retail establishments are within walking distance (including Raising Cane's with their French fries to more than satisfy my vegan palettes). Walking to Costco with my mother, we have purchased numerous conveniences such as a Sodastream maker (my mom will start saving pennies on the dollar rather than having to pay for seltzer by the plastic bottle), casual business attire for my job, and more. Costco is everything when it comes to shopping. You can get anything here from food, yard, home, tire change, and even vacation plans. The people here are super friendly and they'll help you find what you need for the right price. You can get free samples here anytime but Saturday is when you can get tons of samples. One of the most useful things about Costco is the meat selection for there is steaks of all kind, all poultry, all kinds of fish from lobster and crab and of course shrimp. The membership we have is the executive membership which is $100 dollars a year, every month you will get a whole lot of coupons which is money saving city. The concessions are amazing and also cheap you can get a large pizza which is like a extra large at normal places and it's amazing also the chicken casar bake is amazing. All in all I total recommend getting a membership ship here but I would say go with someone that has one to see if you'll like it. Having shopped at Costco's all over the country, I cannot believe the way I was treated at this location. While letting my Dad finish checking out, I walked out of the store past the main exit. When I was almost to the road, I heard, "HEY MORON!" To my surprise, it was a Costco employee yelling at me. I turned, and when he noticed I didn't have anything in my hands, he immediately went back inside. After calling the location's managers, we were assured that this was uncharacteristic of the employee and that they would be handling the situation. A couple days later, we were shopping at Costco once again. And of course the same employee is monitoring the door. So if you like to be degraded by employees, this Costco location is perfect for you! read more

I love the samples and the people giving them are so sweet they explain the product so well and really make you want to buy it! I shop here all the time for the amazing deals! I know to big portions but I live in a family of 5 so it works great for us! I'm so glad they opened a Cosco in Oklahoma right before I moved here. I shop here every day! I suggest everyone to shop here it's 100% worth getting a membership. I get my glasses here and my flu shots too, not just my groceries! Defiantly recommended to all! I know the comparisons among worthless, mediocre, decent, trying hard but does not know what they're talking about and from above and beyond. Most people go out of their way to complain and really convince others to avoid something or someone. I want to take the time to appreciate people with real skills. Robert at the membership counter deserves some sort of raise, promotion and recognition. I actually looked and squinted my eyes at his badge and really had to make sure it didn't say CEO or like Manager next to his name. WTF Costco?! It's a regular employee badge. If you want quick decisive help and at the same time a perfect detailed explanation on literally everything they offer; then ask for that guy. Genuinely cool, sociable, calm and collected under the pressure; it was a Sunday and that placed was PACKED. Also, in the most non-confrontational way, he coordinated the chaotic line of impatient people standing everywhere to be helped; Guys like that need to be immediately moved to the top before something or someone kills whatever inspires them. read more

I gave this Costco five stars for a number of reasons. First of all, we have a diesel vehicle and this is the first Costco that we have seen throughout the country that has diesel fuel. We have been members of this Costco shortly after it opened a few years ago. We like the variety of products, many of which can only be found there. In our experience many of the employees are outright rude, even the managers. I've worked in retail and it's stressful dealing with the public, but if it's not for you find something else. And, Costco needs to retrain their staff in common courtesy. Regarding the membership plans - do not let them upsell you on the "executive membership" that gives you cash back at the end of the year claiming that it pays for itself. The annual fee for the executive membership is $120 and the basic membership is $60. We shop there probably twice a month spending around $300 - 400 and received a check in the mail for $33.40 as cash back for being an executive member - what a farce. If you join as a basic member they will try to upsell you every time you check out at the register...it gets old real quick. read more

I went in to costco to get my tires rotated and they took care of it. A few months later I was going to take my wheel off to service brakes. I went into the glove box and my lock for my chrome lugs was not in the glove box but there was a regular socket in the glove box. I was stymied until I went to look at my wheels and some old flat gray lug nuts were on my aftermarket custom wheels. The only person that had access to my locking lug socket was costco. I was shocked that someone would be so petty as to steel my lug nuts. I called costco and asked if the garage used the socket that was in the glove box and he said he thought they did. I came in and spoke with the garage man and he just had a ridiculous reason about the socket not being theirs. My complaint was that my lock for the lug nuts and the lug nuts were missing and all I had was the crummy lugs and no lock. He got a lady from the office and she pretty much insulted me by saying it was'nt believable and they pay there mechanics too much for them to chance losing a job because they get paid really well. I stopped at that because if she was backward enough to think I was lying about my lug nuts being taken off of my lexus rather than her high payed mechanics I thought She obviously never heard of Bernie Madoff. She even gave me a veiled threat that she could always speak with her attorneys. I was shocked. I have never been treated so rudely as this woman treated me. Costco has always been my go to place from California to Oklahoma. Not anymore. I wanted to warn others about leaving their car with the garage. You will be wrong to go there and get any resolution about any loss you incurred. read more

They have excellent prices on select items such as dog food, milk, steel cut oatmeal, coffee, and organic produce. I really enjoy the treasure hunt aspect of shopping. Also, 1 adult and 3 kids can eat at the food court for under $7.50 if you split the pizza and ice cream in half and order water cups. Costco sells a bottle of Don Perignon 2009 for $139. $61 cheaper than a nearby liquor store. Suggestion: Please adjust your weekend hours to an 8:30 closing. No one cares that you are open until 8:30 on Monday - Thursday. I've had to readjust my weekend shopping trip because of the INSANE corporate decision to close at 6 on a Saturday and Sunday. You could easily open later / close later on Sunday. Please allow the gas station to accept the Costco digital card as well as Apple Pay. read more

I have been a great fan of costco for many years but the past couple of months the roast chicken which has always been the best is not so good. I don't know if they have a new cook but I have had 3 not quite done roast chickens and they are not as good as they used to be so far as juicy. Just a note on the ready to serve pizzas, hotdogs, frozen yogurts, etc. we stopped in for some shopping today and decided to grab the $1.50 hotdog and soda deal. Sounds great but my wife and I both agreed that the hotdog and the Pepsi were both tasteless. The Pepsi from the fountain is very watered down. The hotdog tasted like it had been sitting in a flavorless water bath all day and really had no flavor except for the mustard and relish. I know you don't normally go here for this food but it is worth mentioning. We've had the pizza in the past and it is pretty much the best out of Sam's and Costco. read more

Made it there the evening of opening day. The parking lots was jam packed, and it looked like they were having a one in one out policy, but it was just staff verifying that paid members were the only ones allowed in. Once inside, it seemed less crowded. Either the people were outside signing up for memberships or the enormity of the space, made it seem empty. There was no problem navigating the aisles. In fact, I think this place is better organized than Sam's. Product offering is almost remarkably the same any other wholesale, with certain brands that can be found only here while other brands can't. Costco also has it's own brand of products that can easily compare the name brand items. Check out was quick. At this point you can pay with AMEX, check or debit. Visa payment will be available starting in June. The biggest wait we experienced was to get food for our post shopping excursion. Giant all beef hotdogs and a drink for $1.50. Hot dogs are bigger and better than Sam's, but drink size smaller. They also have more variety, including churros and this awesome looking chicken bakes. Definitely a schlep for midtowners, but southies and those that aren't technically in Tulsa will find it convenient. read more

Crappy pharmacist. We drove over 15 mins since this was the closest location from our house and a sweet pharmacist of color, probably Pacific Islander, assisted us with what we were needing, she was sweet and tried to help us. However, this pharmacist of NO color (white) gave her this look of death like, "are you really going to do that for them" keep in mind it doesn't take that long to fill a couple script for three animals!... Anyway, the rude pharmacist made it seem like we had to come back tomorrow for the pills and my fur babies are going through allergic reactions and serious stuff that in turn is why I am needing their meds NOW. The worst attitude and customer service. Polar opposites. I feel bad for the sweet pharmacist having to work with that toxicity. Costco offers warehouse deals to average consumers in exchange for annual membership fees. This particular Costco is kept very clean. The staff is friendly and mostly helpful. Sample people are a little slow, but sometimes they have a hungry mob swarming at them, so it's kind of funny to watch. I bought 4 new tires and they didn't even bother washing them, I had a 3pm appointment and I didn't leave until after 5pm and worst of all I have a problem with my lift gate and explained how it had to be opened they didn't follow those directions and ended up totally screwing up my latch on my hatchback after assuring me that he would do it himself and be careful then didn't even tell me I had to find out when I got home very disappointed customer think I'll have to seriously consider canceling my membership read more

This is THE place to buy things you use everyday. Toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, meat etc., all come in commercial quantities at truly wholesale prices. For quality the house brand, Kirkland, is far superior to the generic brand sold elsewhere. In fact often the Kirkland brand is better than your favorite name brand; clothing is one example. As a tip, shop a little hungry, people are sampling products they carry. We have found some very tasty items that we would never have tried otherwise. The deli, meat section and bakery make and package all house products fresh on site daily. Have you ever held a $33000 diamond ring? It is possible at Costco. (If fact, you can even buy it for your sweetie.) The staff are very friendly and helpful. read more

Yes I was in a different Costco yesterday Yes it was a one star experience Yes, this too was a one star experience for me Why? I called ahead for a product and was informed that the said product was in the store. Well I go and waste gas to find that they do NOT have the product and the person that I spoke with on the phone thinks that organic is the same as vegan...... Just allow that to sink in; it speaks for itself. The customer service person I spoke to in the store seemed to be a little uncaring about the mix up but not all people are meant to work in customer service. I thought it would be impossible to have a one star experience so soon after the previous visit in a different location but that's my luck. read more

I go to the Tulsa Costco a couple times a month. Everyone seems to be nice there and they check out really fast - and I don't have to do it myself. I also have a Sam's membership. Here is how they compare: Costco opens at 10AM Sam's Club 7am if you have an executive membership. (I do because I hate waiting in their endless lines once everyone is out shopping and it's cooler in the summer) Employees - Costco is better. They are happy to help you out and the checkout is fast and easy. Sam's Club if an employee sees you coming they run for it. I do like the ladies that help with the self checkout. They are friendly and knowledgeable. At Costco if the lines get backed up they open another line - at Sam's Club I have yet to see that happen. Costco is good about helping people get things to their cars and I have seen them help old people load their groceries. I have to say though, a young man was getting the carts at Sam's Club one morning and helped an old couple load their stuff into their car when they were having a hard time. So Sam's does have good people too. Produce - Costco keeps their coolers too cold and when you get the fruit or veggies home they go down hill fast. Sam's wins the produce race. Dairy - both are pretty much the same. I prefer Aldi for dairy and there is one by each store. Specials - Costco hands down. There is always something on sale at a good price. I like the fliers they send out. Food in general - Costco has stuff we like and so does Sam's. I like the Kirkland brand. Meats - I buy a lot of ground beef and Costco is better than Sam's. Sam's has way too much fat for looking that red... Costco fries out nice with very little grease and zero excess water. Their 85/15 is awesome and better than Sam's best ground beef. Water does not occur naturally in meat. That is added to add weight. So when you get watery ground beef you have been played by the store. As for steaks etc... I think Costco has Sam's beat but not by much. Clothing - Sam's is better. The clothing is not as expensive and of good quality and the men's shirts seem to run longer so they are not belly shirts on tall guys. Auto Service - I do not know. I go to a real tire store and a real mechanic. Walmart fried the brain box in my daughters car changing the battery years ago - Walmart refused to make it right. Taught a very expensive but valuable lesson. There are real auto places for a reason. I have not used the pharmacy much at Costco. Sam's Club carries a lot of pet meds though and it is worth a call to see if they carry what you need because I have found them to be cheaper. Truth is, I like both stores and they each have their place. Sam's is closer to me and both have good gas. I will spend money on both store memberships until I can't afford to. My review is 3 stars because I have 2 problems with Costco, so I always just subtract 1 star for every issue. I agree with others in here; the location and service and samples are fine, prices are fair for the quantity of product you're getting. But they keep taking products off the shelf that I've SPECIFICALLY gone to Costco for. There's 3 of these and they are: 1. Midnight Chocolate Milk (they took that away and started selling Banana milk?! Please) 2. Puppy pads. (I would buy their $14 100pk box twice a month because I work at a rescue/foster/shelter place. It's the CHEAPEST, the Absolute Best deal for those darn things, and now I'm stuck buying 50pk boxes for $30 at Walmart. Retarded.) 3. Lint rollers. (I need these stupid things in my day to day life! Pet hair is the devil, and they had a 5pk of 100 sheet rollers for like $8. It cost that much for ONE 100 sheet lint roller at walmart. I'm getting screwed. With no lube.) The second issue is there's NO WIFI!! If I'm paying for a special membership just to be able to ENTER your place of business, the least you can do is provide complimentary WiFi for your clientele. I absolutely love going to Costco but I've noticed more than once while ordering hot food at the Kiosk, that when picking up food after having my number called the employees have been at the register handling money and then handling food with no gloves on.
