A great restaurant. They never disappoint no matter what you order. We do take out often. The only problem is deciding what to order.

Breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? It's all yours anytime of the day. We opted for breakfast (although they…read moreare known for their wings). The young man who was our server was very friendly and helpful. The decor was seaside diner. Ordered at our table...a large western style omelette, fluffy and full of the extras, a French Toast egg sandwich (clean plate club), a plate with a pancake, over easy eggs, home fries and toast, all cooked perfectly. I had the triple decker grilled cheese with bacon and tomato (I think it was called the Happy Waitress), so good, bacon perfect. Recommended!

The flavors were a little bland and the chicken was cut too thick, which made it less enjoyable to eat. The home fries that came with it were also disappointing -- they seemed reheated rather than freshly made, and just didn't have that crisp, flavorful kick you hope for at a breakfast spot. My friends had different dishes, but their reactions were similar -- nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. We all left feeling like the food was a little underwhelming overall. The bathroom was serviceable but not especially clean, and while the service was fine, it wasn't anything that stood out as particularly attentive or warm. On the positive side, the decor was pleasant and gave the place a nice atmosphere. Honestly, that was probably the highlight of the experience for me. If Yelp allowed half-star ratings, I'd give it a 3.5 just for the vibe. All in all, Chicken & Egg isn't a bad place, but it didn't really impress. With so many options around, it's not somewhere I'd rush back to, but I wouldn't call it a total miss either -- more middle of the road.

good spot on the boardwalk for a quick bite!…read more my boyfriend and i were on the jersey ocean city boardwalk and stopped by for a quick bite. we had the 10-piece tenders which was a hefty amount of food. we got the honey soy spicy which was surprisingly spicy (though they did warn us). the chicken was fresh, hot, and crispy, and i liked that it wasn't too breaded. food came out fresh, and the staff was really friendly! there was a decent amount of people but no crazy lines. more of a pop up window spot so no seating, but there were benches on the boardwalk that we ate at, though we had to flee due to being attacked by seagulls.

Korean food isn't naturally my first thought when going down the shore but I'm glad it's an option. My wife and I split the chicken sandwich (spicy honey soy) and corn dog (half cheese/hotdog). The chicken sandwich was a generous portion. Anytime I get "spicy" at a restaurant/fast food spot it's not spiced enough but this packed a punch. Nice balance with the sweet from the honey and the salt from the soy. It was topped off with a refreshing slaw. My only gripe was the bread. If I had to guess it was potato bread. It was super soft but dense/heavy. It was still an A+ sandwich. Came with a bag of chips and canned soda. The corndog was nothing short of amazing. Great crunch, melted mozzarella, and quality dog (Nathan's or Hebrew). I got it drizzled with spicy mayo and ketchup. I preferred the corndog as it was easier to eat. Get plenty of napkins or you'll wear your food . I would highly recommend and can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
