Girl that took my order when I walked in was cute, friendly and helpful. I ordered the Superman cheesesteak, the chicken cheesesteak and the Boardwalk empire 2.0. The star of all the sandwiches was the Boardwalk Empire. Such a great flavor profile. The Balsamic glaze and the pepper's really work well with the cutlet. I order the tuna sub with cheese and bbq chips, it came with regular potato chips, which were stale and no cheese at all. The tuna was seasoned but very fishy, plus it was hot. It was supposed to be a cold sub. read more

I paid $40 for 2 subs, cheese fries and a can of soda. There's so little chicken in the sub that it shouldn't even be called a "chicken " cheesesteak. For the price I paid I expected it to at least have some chicken in it. This is the second time. I thought the first time was an outlier because it's so highly (over) rated. I haven't had a cheesesteak in a while so I stopped here. Ordered 1/2 cheesesteak W/ lettuce and onions. That's it. $17.05 !!! I didn't say any thing and paid. While I was waiting a gentleman (who ordered right after me) came out and we were talking. I thought maybe the young lady made a mistake when she rang me up. He said he ordered 1/2 cheesesteak W/L/T onions, side order of fries and a slice of pizza and his total was $40. I might be crazy but these totals seem really high for a sub shop. Food was decent but def not worth the price. Won't be back here anytime soon. read more

Came here while I was down the shore Saturday afternoon and wanted to grab a quick bite. Found this spot on Yelp, saw the pictures and reviews and I was sold. Parking lot next to store and when I walked in there was no line. Lady in the counter was very patient and helpful. Ended up ordering the chicken cutlet club (BLT) with honey mustard on the side. The sandwich was awesome! The chicken was thin but not too thin and they gave so much chicken cutlet. The hero bread is even gutted so that all the chicken can fit in. Bacon was crispy. Def coming back here when I visit AC. I highly recommend this place if you want chicken cutlet sandwiches. * Honey mustard is a must here! read more

I've always wanted to try this place and finally went today because I was in AC . It's about 15 mins from Atlantic City in Northfield . I've been seeing so many posts on social media with the characters from the show sopranos which is one of my favorites . When you enter you see all the pictures with the sopranos cast members who have all ate there at one time or another . I went to the front cashier and ordered a chicken parm hero . The young lady was so nice and engaging and I was so excited to have the hero ! So I ate it in the car and I wasn't impressed unfortunately. The bread should have been toasted as it was soggy and they put way too much sauce which Made it even more soggy . In addition the chicken was chewy and almost hard like . First off the sandwiches were so light i thought it was only bread. Upon tasting the sandwich (reubin) the bread was hard around the edges, not edible. The cornbeef was like biting into leather, there was almost no sourkraut or dressing. The tuna was sub-par. we asked for whole wheat and they put it on white. The sweet potatoe fries were not fresh, they tasted like they were sitting around forever. This is the first and last time we would ever eat here. Three sandwiches were $56! total ripoff. Victoria the young woman who took my order over the phone was great after that downhill from there ordered a Veggie sub left off the tomatoes and not many roasted peppers which I added in. I ordered a young Henry they didn't have arugula so they subbed out for broccoli rabe I was so hungry really looking forward to it for the sub was so salty by the time I got through the half of it I had to throw out the rest it's like somebody dumped a spoonful of salt into the sub I also ordered onion rings and they were so greasy that they were black took one bite and couldn't eat them anymore not crispy at all not golden just filled with oil when I called in to explain this the gentleman who answered listen to my complaints and then basically said he would refer to the owner no apologies no nothing just a brush off I had ordered a corned beef sandwich a couple weeks before went and picked it up it wasn't bad but the sandwich was like $14 and I think I got charged like 23 I don't know what that was I didn't question it at the time I thought this place was all about quality that's why I ordered actually the gentleman that I told about the onion ranks said that they might be having some problems with their fryer so then why serve me greasy onion rings how does that make sense no quality control oh and I ordered extra meat for the sub if there was extra on there I hate to see what was on there before that cuz it was barely filled I don't know what to think about this now?? I stopped by here for the first time a few weeks back and had what was probably the best Philly pork sandwich I've ever eaten. Fantastic bread, sharp cheese, melt in your mouth pork and perfectly bitter broccoli rabe and roasted long hots had me scraping my plate looking for more. Can't wait to try other items on the menu. Very good subs. A great variety of subs. Today We split Chico Italian Special subs and Tuna sub with Fries. They were great. I loved the option of a seeded roll it take the sandwich to another level. This place is the best Italian joint around. Not only are their sandwiches top notch, the pizza is unbelievably good. I'm a pizza snob and I was blown away by how great the crust and sauce was. I ordered the margarita pizza and it was delivered in 25 minutes and was so unbelievably good I didn't even stop eating to get a plate. I stood over the box and ate the entire pizza. read more

First, I ate the breakfast tacos. The tacos consist of tofu scramble topped with chili and a slice of avocado. The tacos were delicious. I saved the lentil stew for the next day. It was also very tasty. The Replenish juice was tasty as well and provided me with the vitamin C I needed to fight off the cold I was dealing with. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and wish there were locations a little further north in upper Monmouth County or lower Middlesex County, so I would have one closer to home.

0/10 Don't even waste your time unless you want a headache. Ordered 2 cheesesteaks and cheese fries online (even put in the notes: "Can you plus put the cheese on the fries? :)"), for a 2:50PM pickup (we ordered around 1:30PM). We live in Mays Landing and wanted to try somewhere new to us. At 2:30PM, we get a text that the food was ready... Ok, weird to have it sit there getting cold for 20 mins but whatever can't time everything perfectly I guess, no biggy. Get the food home, and there is no cheese at all, not on thefires, not in the bag, and my Cheesesteaks has lettuce, tomato, and mayo all over it (none of this is mentioned when ordering online). I hate mayo, but I can get past the tomato and lettuce, so I think maybe that is the white cheddar cheese, melted, that it's supposed to come with. I call Chico and Son's, and the woman says "Oh, ok yeah just next time you order we got you, we'll give you a fry for free. The cheesesteak you ordered doesn't have mayo on it, it's cheese sauce." I tell her I want a refund for the fries and she says "You'll have to call slice and have them call us to authorize it." OK. I go to eat my sandwhich and guess what? It's mayo. The one side of the sandwhich has it all over it, the other side has the cheddar cheese, they are obviously 2 different colors and consistency. I call slice and tell them I want a refund for my whole order, I'm not driving 20 mins back out to get this all replaced and honestly I'm good the lady lied to me, just give me my money back. They call Chico's and the lady says she only authorizes the refund for the fries... ok so I call Chicos back and tell her "Hey, this sandwhich isn't supposed to come with mayo right?" She says "Yes" and I explained it has mayo... it's not the cheese. It is mayo. She says "Hold on, I'll go check with the cook." After 5 mins she comes back and says "Yeah, he put mayo on it. It's not supposed to come with it though. You ordered online though and didn't put you don't want mayo." I said "Why would I have to put no mayo if it doesn't come with it?" She said "Because if you don't want it you should always just be sure to put it when you're ordering stuff online." I said ".... so this is my fault???" She said "No, but you know, you ordered online without knowing what comes on it." -- SHE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT COMES ON IT. "The cook says it comes on it but I didn't think anything here comes with mayo on it. IDK. We'll refund you for the sandwich." I said "I want a refund for the whole thing, my tip, both sandwiches, the fries... I don't want any of this at this point. I picked it up like 90 mins ago, it's cold, and I don't eat sandwiches with mayo. I didn't spend $45 to now make my own food at home." She tried to fight me on it, said "HOld on, I'm getting another call" and then HUNG UP ON ME. It wasn't until I called back in and she literally picked up the phone and put it on the desk and didn't say anything, and I held out for about 60 seconds until she finally said "Hello?" -- then she realized I wasn't going away, said she didn't mean to hang up on me, and that they would refund the whole thing. What a mess. Gross food, gross way of handling customers. (The cheesesteak we DID get correctly had "extra meat and cheese" on it... WOW if you could see what that entails, you'd laugh.) read more

Amazing. Ordered two subs. Ordered each just as described and depicted on their ordering site. One tuna and one turkey. Both showed up completely dry .... Nothing but tuna on one and turkey on the other. Called the store... person answers "hello" and then says he needs to call back. Calls back and says not his problem and to call Slice (their online ordering partner). Slice confirmed they screwed up the order and agreed to have shop credit the sale. How can a sub shop NOT know how they are offering for sale what are certainly popular sub items???? They have been on Slice for a while. This never would have happened if Chico was still in the house. Unprofessional. The fact that they refused to replace the order is unbelievable for a shop with Dino's roots!! The fact that they had no interest in making things right is why we will never order from Chico's again. Too many good competitors that understand good customer service. This is not a pandemic issue! This is a good business issue! Mistakes happen, I understand that, but with this kind of response, why go back. All I wanted is my lunch today!! read more

The quality of product is lacking...especially compared to AC Subs right up the street. Their parking situation is not ideal at all either.
