Patrick is very unprofessional and did not show up on the agreed-upon dates for performing the agreed-upon service. When I texted him to ask him if he was arriving on the schedule today, he said he would either arrive today or the next day. I had to travel from an hour away to ensure that he had access to the mower so I had to stick around for another day, but Patrick never showed up and never contacted me again. If I could give them 0 stars I would! I reached out to see if I can have my snowblower serviced and that I believed it needed a carburetor. I was told they offer free pickup/drop off. They picked up my snowblower within a few days. I then received a phone call stating I needed a new belt and carburetor. The quote came to 600 for the total repair. I decided to not go ahead with the service due to the price being too high. Even still I got a payment request for 294.99! I was quite shocked because I said I didn't want to do the repair. I was told they automatically do a routine service prior to any repairs, the price was on their website, and I should have asked first! The 294.99 wasn't even for them to repair what I wanted done (carburetor)! So basically they charge 294 to even look at your snowblower. No wonder why they were offering free pickup/drop off. My snowblower was still broken! I checked their website and service prices were NOT listed. I made it very clear that I did not authorize any service and was unhappy. I went back and forth via text and they told me that's how they do business and I should have asked for prices prior to. I am not used to doing buisness like that. When you bring a car to a mechanic they don't just do services without getting authorization first. After some back and forth they gave me 50.00 off. I paid because they refused to return my snowblower without payment. They returned it about a week later. I bought the oem carburetor for 35.99 and installed it. I would like to begin by noting that payments to this business were processed through personal Venmo accounts including under Patrick's wife's name. Had I known this upfront, I'd like to think I would not have used the service. You may already see where this is going. On 12/20/24, my snowblower and generator were finally picked up from my home for service after two prior failed pickup attempts starting in early December. At pickup, I was required to provide a $50 "deposit" to a personal Venmo account under "David D" who I assume was the driver in the attached image. So is this $50 actually a delivery fee collected by a 3rd party? Shortly after, I received a parts quote from Patrick over the phone regarding my snowblower. This quote was in addition to the $50 "deposit", something that had never been disclosed beforehand. When I questioned him about it, he claimed he thought he had told me upfront. He had not. Patrick also promised that the work would be completed that same day if I paid immediately. It was not. I did not hear back from Patrick again until 1/6/25, when he told me that only after power washing the snowblower did he discover that both tires and a cable needed replacement. He then stated he would only charge me for the parts, not labor. However, when the unit was finally returned to me on 1/18/25, it was clear it had never been power washed or any new replacement parts of tires or a cable. Photos I had taken for the initial quote show the same dirt, the same tires, and no evidence of a new cable. The attached images show both pick up and then a closeup after delivery showing old tires and dirt where a quick power washing would have removed it. When I requested a receipt to confirm the services and parts provided, Patrick responded by text asking me, "How much did you pay me?" The invoice he later sent did not match the parts or amounts he had previously quoted by text. This would indicate that he is not keeping records and he likely just made up an invoice with random parts totaling what I told him I had paid. Additionally, when I declined service on my generator after receiving his quote, I was then informed there was a $50 diagnostic fee. This fee had never been disclosed upfront. I attempted to contact Patrick by both email and text to get his response to these issues, but he has not replied. Summary: - initial pickup took more than two weeks - quote for parts was misleading - declining a service may result in a "diagnostic fee" - was told that immediate payment meant imminent work, it did not - paid for additional parts that were not installed - they had my machine for almost 30 days - payments for the business are made to personal Venmo accounts - record keeping is suspect - no response if you have an issue read more

Using VPN - so that's why it show's as Virgina - I'm based locally to Worcester. 0 Stars - Dishonest and Misleading Service Looks like a running theme, Venmo, HD Rental Truck, No Receipts provided when asked, scammer and fraudster - don't do business with Patrick Cote. I had a zero-turn residential mower that wouldn't start. After trying basic troubleshooting myself (fresh fuel, new spark plug, starting fluid), I suspected a carburetor issue but preferred to have a professional diagnose it since access is difficult. Patrick Cote answered my call and offered a full-service package for $169 + $50 deposit, including oil, filters, spark plug, and blade sharpening, along with diagnosis. He later claimed a mouse had chewed through the wiring harness and quoted ~$850 total for replacement. I agreed, even after asking about aftermarket parts (which he refused to use due to "liability"). Two days later, he said the harness was fixed but now the transmission had leaked fluid, requiring another ~$650 in parts (labor waived). Over the next two weeks, he blamed delays on parts but eventually returned the mower. It ran--but that's where the positives end. Upon inspection: The "new" wiring harness was clearly NOT replaced (same old dusty wires) Both transmissions were untouched (no signs of service or disassembly) Oil filter was not replaced Blades were not sharpened Air filter unchanged Only actual new parts I could identify: a fuel filter and a fuel pump (~$35 parts) To make matters worse, zero-turn transmissions are typically not rebuildable--they're replaced outright--so his explanation didn't make sense from the start. When I confronted him with photos, he responded defensively with the usual "I've never had a complaint" line instead of addressing the facts. Bottom line: I was charged for work that was not performed. Based on my experience, this "business" is misleading at best and dishonest at worst. Avoid at all costs this guy is a fraud / scam artist. Same issues as everyone else with shady HD truck used for pick up, Venmo the driver and comes up as a scam, etc. Tried to give me my snow blower back with augers engaged as soon as its fired up. The reason " the belt need to stretch after 2-3 storms." I had him put the old belts on and took the machine to a reputable place that verified the belts were not Ariens belts but cheap Amazon ones and the drive belt part number on it was for a Toro, not Ariens belts like he said. every answer Patrick had was he has been in business for 10 years. Bait and switch outfit. Didn't repair at my home as advertized, took it away. took about 2 and a half weeks for tractor mower repair. Returned with a different crappy gas cap and different key that didnt work and key slot showed sign of damage like force feeding a key. Said the damage was to the electrical wiring by mice but sent me no pictures. They have no address listed and have you prepay with Venmo. read more

Terrible service. Charged me over $900 for a tune up...no filters were changed....a new wiring harness, new battery and was SUPPOSED to patch up a hole in the Gas tank. Upon getting it back, I immediately knew the hole in the Gas tank wasn't even ATTEMPTED to be patched because the external tank was FILTHY with dirt and would never allow a patch to be attatched to it. I called him back right away and he claimed the patch had " fallen off" probably during transport . He them told me the tank would just have to be replaced at this point. He told me labor would be waived and that it would only be a charge for the tank. ( I was suspicious and pissed at this point) but wanted an estimate for the tank just for shits and giggles....I also asked for a copy of the reciept which he originally sent me but it was undownloadable for some reason. When I got the new receipt it didn't even match the amount I paid! There were bull shit " shop fees" , " labor fees" " full service fees".....like, wtf???!!!!! When I questioned him on all of the discrepancies he was talking in circles about what the fees were and it made absolutely no sense! He then insisted that he would pick up my mower that night as a FAVOR as he was in the area and was going to charge me ANOTHER $50 DEPOSIT FEE .....I of course told him essentially to pound tar ....he then offers to pick it up and waive all costs and replace the tank for free!!!.... at that point I was convinced he'd just never return my machine and sell it for parts..... This guy is a conman that does absolutely shotty work. I Am totally convinced now after I did some research that he essentially charged me $900.11 for roughly $100 in parts and maybe 30 minutes of labor. Absolutely price gouge. His "marketing team" responded to a post on made on FB looking for repair service on my riding Cub Cadet mower. Ended up picking up the mower a day later than promised using a HOME DEPOT rental truck. My wife wondered if we had just paid $50 to have our expensive machine stolen. Anyway, the repair part of the job went fine BUT the devil is in the details. I asked him to remove the grass chute from the mower deck. He removed the mulching plug. I asked him to perform an annual service on the machine. Absolutely NO FILTERS were changed. When I called to talk about this, he said that filters are good for 4-5 years and that I was "arrogant" by even calling him. Classic gaslighting behavior. I ended up paying in cash because both Venmo and CashApp flagged the transactions as fraud. I think this is just a guy working in a small garage somewhere and not an actual shop. My machine was returned dirty as hell and with paying this guy over $700, I expected more. He said that he would no longer do business with me as if I'd ever hire him for anything ever again. In summary, don't expect him to pickup OR deliver on time and perform professional level service. **UPDATE** They did not reinstall the mower deck correctly and I had to reattach the deck. It now has a clunking sound when I raise the deck and I believe they damaged a part by putting it back together incorrectly.
