This place has gone downhill. This used to be a favourite for us, lately the service has been terrible, quality of food has gone down. We went for breakfast and were completely ignored by our server, our order was wrong and not once did she come to check on us. The restaurant was not busy, and somehow she could not keep up with her 3 small tables. No apology for the hour long wait, no refills to our drinks, no correcting the order, which two out of three were incorrect. Will not be back here. read more

Booked the party room for our Mom's 80th birthday party. Family drove from PEI to attend. The party room had been booked for another group. A table for 10 in the main restaurant was assigned. We told them it was over 20- response- we were told 10-22 but dont worry we can put some tables together (it took every table in the restaurant to set a very long table. Most of us could only talk to the person on either side making for a very poor family get together. Food came out in spurts- 3 in our party did not get their food until all other were done their meal. Very sad for those that drove from PEI as well as others who drove 3 hours to get there and no opportunity to visit. read more

We have been going here since before they changed their name today June 2nd we went for breafast it was the worst we have experienced our waitress middle age short blond hair woman seemed to have major problems never smiled always had a sour face the few times she came around. Saw her on her phone texting on several occasions, I ordered my usual two eggs with home fries and toast and ham, every thing well done, shockingly 45min later toast showed up no breakfast 10 min later breakfast finally shows up,sent toast back 15 min later no toast now breafast is cold,and more shocking it seems they ran out of ham only got served quarter slice,white bread instead of brown with the butter slap on thick layer of butter not well done i ask the waitress why it was not well done she replied probably its because it a new cook, my wife ordered the ham omlet which came with ham on top of omlet and soak and drench in oil Biggest disappointment this restaurant is GOING DOWN HILL where did the good SERVICE and good food go..... read more

I went in today for well I guess brunch with my husband, my father and his wife. My husband got breakfast which he stated was pretty good average but for the price there could have been more food there hes gotten way bigger plates for less money elsewhere just as good if not better. My father had eggs bene he did not have much to say about it either way but really disliked their coffee (too bitter). My fathers wife had the "gourmet" macaroni and cheese which was actually penne not macaroni nor was it gourmet. I had a chicken caesar salad which had no flavor whatsoever other than the lemon I squeezed onto it. Its probably one of the worst salads I have ever had and how hard is it to make a salad. The chicken was dry and tasted burnt and the dressing had no taste. If we do ever go back which is doubtful it will probably only be for breakfast but again its doubtful that we will be back. It was pretty dissapointing because it looked like it was a nice place. We seemed to wait awhile for our food too and most of it came out luke warm. read more

On Sunday, Nov. 4th at 10;30 am we came to your establishment for breakfast as we have been doing for about 6 months. When we arrived we were told that there was a reservation ahead of us and that we would have to wait for about 20 minutes. We agreed to wait. As customers came and went we waited. More customers left and still we waited. Customers came in behind us and they were seated. Still we waited. We waited to be seated for almost 1 hour. At one point a table became available and were then told that it had been reserved for another party. Still we waited.. Again, others came in behind us and they were seated. Still we waited. We had finally had enough of being ignored and I approached one of the staff and told her what I thought of being left to stand and waiting for a table for almost the hour. Their customer service was terrible and that there was no excuse for leaving us standing while others were seated. We had been a regular customer to your restaurant for almost 6 months (EVERY SUNDAY) and you have now lost our service to your establishment. Had a totally awesome real home-made banquet burger. It was excellent and very filling. Also had the chicken and asparagus soup which was very good. Our server mixed up a few things, but was cheerful and attentive nonetheless. I've had the fish and chips there in the past and they are also the real deal. Lunch for two was close to $30.00 which I think is a little steep for what it is....but I can live with that knowing that the food isn't delivered frozen and pre-made off a truck. read more

Went for breakfast this morning with my son, as we sometimes do. Arrived at 10am. Place was not half full. Placed our order within a couple of minutes. Shortly after, more people arrived. At 10:40am still no breakfast, but a table that had arrived after us had their breakfast. Some people may have unlimited time for breakfast, but we don't. Life is too short.............Schedule is too full. Will not go back, but will share the experience with many. read more

when we first went in there was no one there at and it was 5:oopm.I thought oh no could it be that the place is no good foe service and lousy food.quite the opposite I had a 10oz striploin steak which was very good.my wife had her favourite which was liver & onions which also was very good.then we had dessert.to my surprise I had strawberry & rubarb fresh homemade pie warm with ice cream.my wife had a sticky toffee pudding which she says was delicious.we will most likely be back again soon. read more
