We showed up bright and early at their walk-in clinic Saturday morning and the staff was wonderful and caring, super gentle and treated both pups, we got medicine and a follow up appointment, both pups were very comfortable with the techs and the vet. There is easy in/out of the parking lot. It's cool - Right on the order (at the light) easy to find. The Staff was amazing very knowledgeable and helpful. The vet doctor was amazing. Great wealth of knowledge for me. Very grateful to have had this opportunity to talk with her and the staff. My dog Sasha on the other hand was very anxious, nervous and had her own agenda. We need to work on this. I was given Great advice and care. The staff also gave me handouts for Sasha and things to work on at home to help her stress. First times for a puppy can be difficult the staff overlooked this behavior and I highly recommend them and I will go over all the information given and stay having "Happy Visits" so Sasha will become accustomed being around other dogs and clinics. I look forward to visiting and taking Sasha here for years to come. Yeah she is up to date on all her vaccines. Now to get through fireworks. The clinic gave me great advice. I have started now lol. Joy made it easier by providing us with several updates daily. Her updates included pictures as well as videos. Our pup was hardly eating so Joy even hand fed him just to get him to eat more. She truly cares about the dogs she watches and treats them as her own. Joy exceeded our expectations with the care that she provided that we immediately booked two more stays with her. The most recent stay was 11 days while we traveled Internationally. Joy continued to provide several updates daily. We could tell from the pics and videos that he was happy which in turn, helped us enjoy our trip and we felt less guilty for leaving him. As soon as we pulled up to Joy's house, our pup was so excited. When he saw Joy, he couldn't stop kissing her. That tells us how much he loves her. We truly appreciate Joy and how she goes out of her way to make our pup feel comfortable and spoiled. We hit the jackpot when we found Joy. Looking forward to many more trips and bookings with Joy!

Too "dangerous".. I was DESPERATE... After yelping and a few phone calls, I called these guys. Let me say... The woman who answered the phone was just marvelous. I was at my wits end. Panicking.. My husband and I haven't slept in a couple days. Living separately for a couple of days.. My poor puppy was on edge.. I didn't know what to do. The woman I spoke with eased my spirit in more ways than she could ever know. A half hour later... After getting his shot records we drove to Bothell... At first.. I was skeptical, mostly because I've never been away from my puppy... My husband took him in. Had a mini tour. Purchased extras. Walking. Play time.. Blankie and meat and rice. We were relieved... He was safe... We could stay in the hotel and sleep... Until our paperwork was signed. We were without my pup for 4 days.. We called daily and was given a report on him, I felt like a bad dog mom. Finally. My puppy came home... And he was HAPPY. he got bigger and was less aggressive now than when he went in for boarding. I am so happy that I found this place. My puppy is happy and was safe while we figured out our paperwork.. I am entirely GRATEFUL for this place for giving me peace of mind and HELP when I needed it the most. THANK YOU!

We didn't think much of it. Stuff happens. 2nd was the worst ear infection I have ever seen. Clearly bloody outside and inside his ear. He was crazy scratching. Neither of these visits did we get a call from them letting us know so we could take action earlier. Our dog was clearly not walked or looked after on either of these visits. Unfortunately we will not be returning, and I recommend that you try another place first.

The check-in process was quick but thorough--they asked detailed questions about my dog's diet, medication schedule, and personality and they asked me about things I wanted him to work on while being boarded, which immediately gave me peace of mind. During his stay, I received updates about his progress with training. The facility itself was clean, spacious, and smelled fresh--always a good sign in a boarding environment. What impressed me most was how happy and relaxed my dog was when I picked him up. He wasn't stressed, anxious, or overly tired--instead, he seemed like he'd been on a vacation of his own. His bedding was clean, his food portions had been managed exactly as instructed. Im glad I found a great place for dog training and boarding as well as sitting in Mukilteo. What is especially great is that during the board and train there are several opportunities where me and my dog can meet up in areas that he's familiar in, which was great at identifying some of his stressors in a familiar environment.

I am writing this review as a warning to other dog owners. After using Tails-A-Waggin Dog & Cat Inn…read moremany times over the last year for both daycare and boarding, my female lab has been left with what appears to be serious PTSD, particularly relating to long objects like sticks. We do not know what happened while she was in their care, but her changed behavior strongly suggests a traumatic incident occurred during her last stay. Before this, we had used them many times in the last year without any issues. Our last experience, however, was unacceptable. Her change in behavior is heartbreaking and our trust in this facility is completely broken. I wish we had paid closer attention to the red flags other customers have noted in reviews, such as injuries and a lack of accountability from management. Like other reviewers, we now believe this facility's quality of care has seriously degraded since July 2025. Do not be fooled by past positive experiences or the assumption that your pet will be fine. I cannot in good conscience recommend Tails-A-Waggin Dog & Cat Inn to anyone. Please consider a different facility for your pet's safety and well-being.

They only take cats and they are never in a cage, they each have a little room, usually with a window and a little tree or something to climb and scratch. Nancy fell in love with my boy Liam and he allowed her to brush him and seemed very happy by all the pictures I got. You hear of all these sitting services never showing up to feed or play with animals and my family had a tragedy happen when a boarding service kept our dog in a cage instead of the run we ordered, and something horrific happened so I will forever be scared. Nancy understands how much we love our cats and how worried we get for our little bundles of dopamine. I will always recommend Snuggles! The house is clean and well looked after and there is clear plexiglass between the kitty rooms and my cat just stared at the other cats. No fights or hissing. They all just like looking at one another. Thanks again Nancy. As soon as I know we are going away, I will call you!
