Be aware. Get a quote in writing of exactly which areas and how much per cleaning, because they will over charge you. I spoke to the owner/ manager and he said my quotes didn't include my living and dining rooms even thought the quote was for the whole house, then they changed me more because I wanted those area cleaned. Also, most of their cleaners do poor work. The supervisors do not check on the cleaners work leaving many areas in your home still dirty. I had them clean my home 5 times, they over charged me every time and I had to ask for refunds, which they did on a few cleanings but not all of them. Of the 5 cleaning only 2 of them left my house clean. I had to ask for a specific cleaner to make sure I got a good cleaning.The other times I had to re-clean my house which defeats the purpose of easing my way and giving me some of my time back. read more

KENDRA has been cleaning our home for almost a year now. She is professional and trustworthy and very good at what she does. She is prompt and communicates between us and Sean the supervisor when there is any delay. She works very well in our home without supervision, we can be downstairs while she is upstairs. I can work on my computer in a zoom meeting without interruption. We are very happy we made this decision. We have a cat and a Saint Bernard as pets, and she has become friends with both of them. Cottage Care takes care of our office's cleaning needs, and does it right, and well. I love every other Wednesday when the gals come and clean, the whole office looks and smells cleaner after they visit. We have a few different ladies that rotate in to take care of us, but they are all always friendly and professional. Saan, the owner of Cottage Care is a very hands on owner who checks in on occasion to make sure we are happy with the services we are receiving. Prices were comparable to what other cleaning companies quoted us too, but Saan was the only one who followed-up with us, AND gave me a run-down of exactly what would be taken care of when the office was cleaned. They have a system in place to make sure that every part of the office gets cleaned every time, and no one else we got bids from even asked what exactly we'd like done! I would give Cottage Care 0 stars if I could- We tried to schedule with Cottage Care to clean our home, and the whole process was absolutely horrible. We 'scheduled' over the phone with someone about 2 weeks in advanced, never received a confirmation, to which they said they did not even have us on the schedule. They said they were still able to accommodate and would be there that day. We continued to call them all morning to no avail, no one ever showed up, to which they said they would then come the following day. Yet again, no show. We had to rearrange our work/home schedules for days and there was no willingness to accommodate or rectify the situation. This is utterly horrible service and unacceptable customer 'care', or lack there of. read more

Warning: be sure to get anything that was verbally communicated in writing before providing your credit card! Lesson learned for us! We hired this company for move out cleaning. I requested one cleaner and they sent two. We did not anticipate this additional charge. The cleaners were not able to completely clean the bathroom to the standards that the property manager required and despite having said to me that there would be a "guarantee of services provided if I book for four hours" only one hour was reimbursed and that wasn't done until after some significant additional communication. Despite never stating in an written documentation that two cleaners would come, we incurred an additional $106 in fees. At one point, we stopped in to the apt to see how they were doing and one cleaner wasn't even there. They brought a tiny vacuum, said they had issues using mine (which I left there because I had a feeling they would need it despite stating that they had a bigger one coming) although after they left I vacuumed the entire apt with no issues. It was clear that it wasn't done. The sliding glass doors were not cleaned either resulting in an additional charge from the property management and my husband and I cleaned hand prints and smudges from some walls and clean the counter tops as well. Our work schedules were not flexible during our move out process which is why we hired them. I suffer from a health issue that impedes my ability to clean so we needed the help. After the charges from this company and property management, our entire security deposit was completely utilized. We are disappointed and we're only offered $35 back as a refund despite our lack of satisfaction. read more

I sought quotes from several companies and decided to try Cottage Care based on a mail offer I received as the proposed price was much more reasonable than others. My interactions with the company at their 888 number and locally were positive and they were able to schedule our initial deep clean the next day. While there were a few small details that were missed, the cleaner asked for my feedback prior to leaving and immediately addressed the items I noticed including additional details I wasn't necessarily expecting. After she left, we noticed a few other details like the inside of window sills but nothing major. Overall pleased and will hire again for the price, some other companies quoted double the cost. read more

I received a coupon card in the mail and I thought it would be a great idea to try CottageCare Seattle. Wow! HUGE mistake! They were more affordable than Merry Maids of Lynnwood which I had used before. But,there is a HUGE difference in the quality of work. You know that saying: You get what you pay for - um, yeah, it's true. Two gals came out to do the initial clean and it was quite deplorable. There was dirt left on the living room floors and on the countertops. Really? This was the "Deep Clean?" I called Sean back and he sent the team back to re-do the "cleaning". I set up the next appointment and the same two ladies showed up. Again, they continuously missed spots and I had them re-do the floors. They even skipped a whole room which they said was not part of their list--I was thinking they were joking. Really ladies? You sure it's not just you being.....lazy? I had enough - I cancelled this service immediately. Bottom line - Look elsewhere....they may charge less, but there is a reason why. The quality of work is ghastly. :/ read more

This is the best cleaning company I have ever used. On the second cleaning, there was something that I felt was not done (passed over) and they immediately made it right. The last cleaning, I hadn't had time to do the "clear the decks" pre-cleaning pick up, as I was hospitalized. They came in and tidied things up, put loose items in a box, stowed some things in a closet, and generally put the place in order rather than vacuuming around things like some other cleaners would do. I felt "cared for" because they did extra things and put everything in its place. Very impressed! read more

Twice in one year I was double charged for cleaning, so carefully track your charges. When I discovered these doubles charges, the owner did not apologize. Three of my last four cleanings were cancelled on the day and time of the scheduled cleaning because the cleaners were tired, were caught in traffic, etc. Rescheduling was an awful experience, the owner was not respectful or apologetic. Cleaners are NOT trained, just told to watch a vide to learn how to clean. Very high employee turnover. My encounters with this company were the worse of any service I've encountered in my life, in any situation. read more
