Would not let me be in dressing room with my 13 yo daughter accdg to "policy since the rooms are so small". Made trying on clothes at this place take twice as long since she had to come in and out to show me. Pretty tiresome policy for a parent and child who are trying to buy things. read more

I love this store, but the material has not been soft for a while. I'm not sure if there is sustainable reformulation as the reason for that, but the style is dull and not expansive with seasonal attire. I was disappointed. The store is fun because they've got a pretty cute selection of clothing for people of all ages. I find that the women's clothing runs on the small side which is kind of a bummer for me, at 5'10" that can be a challenge for me. Recently I went there because I needed to buy a gift for a friend's baby and I heard they had really great baby and kids clothes. So the stuff was cute but to be honest it was surprisingly expensive. I really, really wish this location enforced social distancing better. Not so much the employee's fault as it's corporates fault. There was no one accounting for capacity at the front door, unlike some of the other stores. The sign at the front says they will only allow 25 customers at a time, but I've seen double that amount on a weekend. If you're going to do your part as a location and enforce social distancing, please actually keep to your word. Some of us here actually worry about getting sick. The typo extension they have in there is absolutely microscopic and is always packed to the gills with people. The Cotton On itself is always, ALWAYS packed with people and it is like a labyrinth trying to get out. Never have I almost had an anxiety attack in a store before, being packed like a sardine. I really like their products here, though. Cute stationery and cuter clothes. Pre-covid, I would come in here all the time and pick out all the cute stationery and knickknacks I could ever want. Think luggage tags, journals, steel walled water jars, squishies (like stress balls), pens and pencils, funny animal foot slippers, and lots more. It's the people that never lifted a finger in their lives also that never served the public have the most to say. My very first visit to a Cotton On store. My sister has been raving about this store and I finally got the chance to check it out. She keeps telling me that I'll love this store and that I'll definitely find something here. Yup, she's right. I went nuts in this store. I tried on almost ten different ensembles, from tops and cardigans to skirts and dresses. This store had hoodies, sleeveless tops, cardigans, casual dresses, summer floral dresses, and stuff for guys, too. Their prices are fairly decent as well. This is a cool Aussie-based women, children & men's clothing store. I've only shopped for women's items. Clothes here are priced very reasonably. The most I've paid for an item is $30 for a pair of super-soft and comfy, stylish sweats. They were not on sale. I have found really inexpensive items on sale for only $10 most times I've shopped here. They get new items in all the time cause items are bought in fairly small quantities and sell out fast. So every time I'm at Fashion Valley mall, I stop in Cotton On to see what's new. The store carries mostly the basics for women, including tank tops, t-shirts, shorts, sundresses, shirts, sweats, leggings, scarves, jewelry, and many other things. Most items are in basic colors, which are great for mixing & matching with several other outfits. It's a good way to get your basics (such as spaghetti-strap shells) to pair with more pricier items bought elsewhere. "Typo" next door is the sister company which has a separate entrance, but is connected inside Cotton On by an open walk-thru. I've bought cute cards, calendars, writing papers, decorative notebooks, pens, and lots of other different and stylish and 'cutsie' items that are fun finds. I can't remember a time when I've shopped at Cotton On and walked away empty-handed. Everything I've purchased here has been made with smooth, soft material that feels so good against your skin. They are made of good quality material that stands up to washing without making them look old fast, like a lot of other lesser quality clothes out there. Sales personnel (both men & women) have always greeted me upon arrival and when leaving. I have also found some sales girls who have worked with me to help put together pieces. Thank you, "Gina" & "Sandy"!!! They are always friendly, professional and on the ball. Sometimes you'll find that an item you thought was full price is really on sale, and they will tell you. Always a nice surprise for me cause I add my total up in my head before reaching the register. It's just nice to hear that total to end up being less than you expected ;) There are no returns on sale items, so make sure you try on clothes before buying. Style: Very trendy street style! Love the over-sized sweaters and sweatshirts that could be worn off the shoulder, with tights, crazy jewelry and studded shoes. So not only do you look good but it's comfortable. Pricing: Regular price the items are OK but everything ALWAYS go on sale for a ridiculously cheap price ($3-$10) Quality: Honestly, the quality is not that great. They make a lot of things from cotton but because it's so cheap, they compensate by also using cheap cotton so I don't recommend getting anything for regular price unless you want to pay too much for hard cotton. HOWEVER, the cotton does soften up with some where and not EVERYTHING is that hard. There were just a few items I've noticed where it's just not worth the price unless they give me that super sale price. read more

Probably the largest store of this chain that I've visited with lots of clothing choices for women and men, as well as carrying lingerie, bags, accessories, and shoes. I almost bought something here, a ruffled bottom top, but it wasn't cotton, and I try not to buy synthetics for summer, since it can get gross/sitcky, wearing it during hot Las Vegas summer days- over 100 degree weather (unless I stay inside all day, that's when I make the exception). A nice selection of sweaters, too. But some of them were way too long for my petite frame. There were a couple racks of clearance items in the back of the store, some lace dresses (OOH, the trend I am liking these days), but not my size. It is nice to look sometimes to get ideas/inspiration, on putting coordinates together. I was greeted several times by employees BTW. I had the stroller and I wasn't catching hangers, either. I really like going to Cotton On for their Men's shirts, I like the fit on me. I usually find that women's tshirts are super tight and I just want something comfy. I love the men's sale section LOL I came here this past week with one of my girlfriends. I actually found a bunch of stuff I wanted to get and it was all on sale but damn the line did not move at all, mind you it was a weekday early afternoon so I'm not sure what the hold up was but we just ended up putting the stuff back and leaving. I love coming to this store. It seems like there's only about 4 people who work here because I always see the same lovely people. I am always greeted when I go to this store. I always have a great experience! The employees are so sweet to EVERYONE! I believe the store manager's name is Chad or Brad, either way he does an amazing job of giving each individual customer the service they deserve. I wish they had more than one or two people working at a time. They do not allow more than 25 people in the store. I have been coming twice a week since June and it seems like the employees always have a hard time balancing everything they have to do in the store. HORRIBLE! Went in with a friend to peruse and he ended up walking out with well over 10 articles and $200 worth of clothing. He likes to try things on at home and take his time trying to combine articles of clothing into potential outfits, WHO DOESN'T? Literally two days later we went back to Cotton On to return some things he didn't care for only to be informed at that point that articles which have tags removed are not eligible for a return (they thought he removed the tags, wore the clothing, then wanted to return it). This is totally a legit concern, except he was never told this was their policy. In fact, the associate that helped him was present and admitted she forgot to tell us. Despite this fact the manager was extremely rude and accusatory in her tone when explaining that she would not be able to validate the return. What's more, she was in a rush to take her break and would not spend another second tending to us pesky customers who had made such a large purchase. RUDE! Needless to say my friend ended up making the manager return all of the CHEAP, and TACKY clothing he did not like and getting his money back albeit after a horrifying experience in customer service. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN. read more

Came in here the other day with my sis. I usually look at Cotton On for reasonably prices basics but this time around they had an influx of overly patterned winter sweaters. I know that it may be the "season's trend" but we live in San Diego, and even if I liked one of the sweaters I could not envision myself wearing a heavy tarp in this "Fall" heat. I left with a cute tank top with a simple pattern and cute zipper detail in the back. At $5 on the sale rack it was a steal. Unfortunately, pickings were too slim to award Cotton anymore stars.
