Ask for all potential charges before receiving any care here, even with in network insurance. $490 for a foot brace! I repeat - $494.75 for a small foot brace, I kid you not. I had some pain in my heel lasting for a couple weeks and thought "let's get it checked out". Saw Dr Tim Young for a 15 minute, middle of the road appointment - he recommended stretching more (yes, stretching!) and to wear a foot brace at night. Ok, fine suggestions although pretty basic and to be expected. A few weeks later my bill came and I kid you not this is what was billed by this company: New patient appt: $330 Time for the visit: $180 Ankle brace: $480! Random charge I can't yet determine: $180 If you're counting, that is $1170 for a honest to god 15 min appt, where again the main recommendation was to stretch my calf more. Shameful and appalling. If you choose to visit Issq Foot & Ankle, good luck to you. Your wallet will surely need it

Before that time, I was a patient of a large medical practice in Issaquah for over a decade. I've always tried to eat well and stay fit through exercise. So it has been frustrating that the story I've received every year at my annual checkup from my primary care physician at this large medical practice is the same: some of your biomarkers are higher than ideal and we'll just watch them. No further investigation, no analysis of underlying causes, no next steps at all. After I saw Dr Woodall, I learned for the first time that there were steps that I could take to address the underlying causes of my high biomarkers. The steps that I have taken include both medicines as well as nutritional supplements based on scientific knowledge and lab testing of vitamins and nutrients my body is not absorbing well. And I'm confident that the steps that I have taken will help me stay fit, active, and healthy as I move into an older stage of life. The doctors of the practice take a holistic approach seeking the root causes of ailments rather than merely addressing symptoms as seems to be the norm for many medical practices these days due. If you want to get ahead of health problems instead of dealing with them only after they arise, this is a medical practice that is highly worth investigating.

The first podiatrist failed to properly diagnose my foot issue. The second podiatrist (very well-known and highly rated in Issaquah), at least realized that the issue had to do with the sesamoid, but did not fully diagnose the problem, and the orthotics he ordered were junk, despite the high price. They fell apart on me in a couple of months, and when I had them sent back for repair, they lasted 2 weeks. That office charged me over $700 for that junk, and did not properly charge my insurance, leaving me responsible for the entire bill. They negotiated down to $450, but I got in touch with my insurance company myself and got them to pay for it (and their cost was a little over $300 btw). That second doctor also recommended hyaluronic acid, which I'm glad I turned down (there's is little scientific evidence for it for my particular foot issue, and it requires annual re-application). Dr. Jones, on the other hand, immediately diagnose the issue and ordered the best orthotics I've ever had. Most of my sesamoid-related pain is already gone. He also helped me out with plantar fasciitis. This guy knows his stuff! He also properly handled everything with my insurance, and I've never had to wait even a minute to be seen at his office. He took time to hear me out and to address all of my concerns. What a great experience! I wish I had seen him 5 years ago!

Kevin was my physical therapist for both injuries and Sam assisted him. Both Kevin and Sam were consistently thoughtful, supportive, and encouraging. The first day I walked in, I was in pain and quite nervous and not sure what to expect. Kevin was very kind, great about explaining everything along the way, and his treatment plan and recommendations were incredibly effective - with both injuries, I was able to get back to pain-free far more quickly than I'd anticipated. I'm interested in research, and it was clear he keeps up to date on the latest research in his field, which is excellent and would certainly contribute to how effectively he's able to treat his patients. It's also clear they both genuinely care - it shows in everything they do. They are professional, capable, and will treat you like a friend. I will always be grateful to them for how they helped me recover from my injuries with such reassurance and sincere concern for my overall well-being. If you ever need physical therapy for any reason whatsoever, definitely choose Issaquah Physical Therapy. I'm incredibly grateful to have found them. He's had occupational therapists and physical therapy (riding a stationary bike for 15 minutes a day) which are worth mentioning because they are the only services he's received. We told the staff we needed stairs work but they brought in a block to work with so we're not impressed. His occupational therapist also expressed his racist views, he will be reported. The food has been terrible and he's not eating and he's losing weight which they keep commenting on. When I visited last week, I was greeted with "You can't come in" which I know, I was dropping off a couple of comfort items. I know that these places are on lock down but the attitude wasn't needed. So, not sure where the quality facilities are but this isn't it.

The whole idea is that…read moreby staying in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), she will get more PT sessions in per day, and thus her recovery will get a good starting boost. I'm writing this review on her behalf. She isn't a fan of the food, but understands that it's temporary for her. What's REALLY concerning is: - She says this SNF is very, very dirty. - She says it smells like urine throughout. - She needs to be up and moving as much as possible. After her (presumed) first walk of the day, she asked to get up and do it again in a few hours. The response was that it wasn't possible, the staff "were too busy for that". Note -- her surgeon AND hospitalist emphasized that the point of a SNF was doing her exercise regimen 3x daily and having staff to help her improve her mobility at other times of day......... Hi there, ICC staff, have you read her doctor's notes and treatment plan? Are you planning to simply not follow that plan? I'm honestly really worried that my grandma's health will get worse in her stay here. If the staff can't be bothered even when the patient asks for assistance....... Will they bother to make sure the patient is using their incentive spirometer, so that their very high risk elderly patient doesn't get pneumonia? Will they bother to take care and measure an elderly diabetic patient's blood glucose? Will update this review after her stay is over. For my grandma's sake, I hope that that the impression so far is not truly what this place is like. Seriously hoping this turns out to be a fantastic SNF. Fingers crossed.

I like that it's big enough to have all the different resources you'd want in a medical facility - primary care - specialties - ED - many different food options - close to highlands so that's awesome also and easy to get out for lunch. Parking is close enough also, for both patients and employees. The lots arn't too far away, which is nice b/c it rains so much it's really no bueno to have to walk across huge parking lots or have to shuttle in when you're just trying to get to work. I LOVE the different walking trails around the hospital and also the gorgeous outdoor seating areas!!! SO SO nice for when it's decent weather outside. I used to come up here just to walk when I lived nearby. GREAT medical campus!
