Wendi and Brian are true pros and good people! Everyone who works there is excellent. I worked out with Will who with the exception of being a Chicago Bears fan (poor Will...then again, Im a Giants fan so I will skip Super Bowl) is a great guy and trainer. Every workout is different and tailored to the individual so you will not get bored. The studio and equipment are very nice. If you have injuries to work around, Inspire will take notice and will reach out on your behalf to coordinate with other health care professionals/physical therapists. Location is easily accessible right off Merritt Parkway, Exit 34. Your first session usually involves Brian or Wendi performing an assessment on you to show where you may have imbalances on either side of your body etc...you can buy packages of workouts which are priced fairly vs competition. The studio design is super sleek and modern and their front desk staff is helpful and friendly. I'm in pretty decent shape since I workout regularly, but I was gasping for breath in these classes. I've taken both their Bands and their Dance classes and they are legitimately hard. Their instructors are upbeat, the music is great and the choreography is on point, which is what keeps me coming back! But if you are a beginner and/or are working on getting in shape, you likely will be very discouraged by these classes. I'm giving 4 stars because of the following: -I'm used to fitness classes where the instructors will offer modifications for certain exercises, but haven't found that to be the case at AKT. -No designated changing area (I have to awkwardly change clothes in the bathroom stall) -The lockers are really tiny and don't fit much of your stuff. Plus many of them are out of order.

I have been a member since January 2021. I (as well as many of my friends) avoid Heather at all…read morecosts because she is unkind and condescending. Unfortunately, she is the lead instructor. I work from home on Fridays and don't have the most flexible situation which means often times having to take Heathers' class. Exercising is meant to be a release from stress - not additive to stress. As silly as this sounds, I actually got scolded and then lectured for using 5 pound weights instead of 3 as its apparently liability and a rule. I would actually like to see the rule book here bc I have never seen one. I also got scolded for not holding the weights "Heathers' way" - I have been an athlete my whole life including college so I am pretty sure I know how to hold weights. Do yourself a favor and find another studio to do Pilates.
