The Salon D'Shayn staff but specifically Lydia far exceeded my expectations…read more I have been growing out my gray, and had been left with brassy orange hair for almost a year. I had a consultation with Lydia and she said she could absolutely help. I honestly thought I would leave the salon just "not hating" my hair, instead I could not love it more! I cried when I got home and really looked at it. I am truly grateful to Lydia for making my hair beautiful! Thank you!!

It was my first visit to the salon... to any salon in over 5 years. I walked in with total trainwreckery on my head, with what I thought was an impossible ask for Lydia. I really wanted her to magically turn my "sea hag" faded teal and green bedraggled lower back natural curls with 5" of grey roots (that I couldnt keep up) with silver, and bring back my bouncy curls. Not an easy ask, because I didnt want heavy bleach due to perimenopusal hair dryness, and had a veeery limited budget to play with. I even had a backup plan, because I was SO SURE a Silver that could grow into my natural color just would not be an option. Lydia took one look at me and had a plan. I dont think either of us were sure it would work, but she's brilliant and has 18+ years experience and a foundation in color theory, so we took a chance that dying my green hair hot pink would take me to a silvery tone. It worked! The woman pulled off a miracle on my head! I adore my lush silvery locks, with a bit of an oilslick tone of faded denim blues and violets that shimmer in the sun. My hair is so much healthier, and I can literally pull off a silk sleep bonnet, spritz with rosemart water, add a bit of hair oil and shake my curls into place. And amazingly enough, she managed under budget! If youre looking for a stylist/colorist/curly hair specialist you really cannot go wrong with Lydia! am LOVING my locks, again! Thank you, Lydia!!! Miracle worker!! First photo is me styled to within an inch of my life... hair looks gorgeous, but its a rarity! Second is my daily 2 minute 'do... So, so thrilled with both options.Lydia rocks! She slayed the Sea Hag!

The reviews aren't lying, go see her immediately…read more So let's start from the beginning. Easy to schedule and communicate. When I arrived I got a little nervous because it's a house and I was used to spa centers and didn't want someone waxing and doing my facial in the kitchen lol I'm glad ignored those nerves (based on previous reviews). Once you enter, it's a beautiful private set up. She explained everything carefully and made sure I was getting what would be best for me. She made what could be an excruciatingly painful wax experience tolerable because she was so pleasant to chat with. But the reason I really want to write this review - the hydrofacial. Go get it NOW! I think it was an hr long but felt like 3 hrs. I've never felt so relaxed. You could tell she was really taking time to do it right. It was a much better experience than fancy places I've paid double the price. Shes got a returning customer in me for sure!

Parking is off the alley behind the business. Liz is very professional and personable. She offers a variety of services but does not "push". I am very pleased with the "results" & will be a returning client! Thank you, Liz!

Since doing these treatments monthly/ every other month I've had so many people comment on how great my skin looks. This is a smaller location than the main but they recently took over the suite next door and expanded so if you went when they first opened i recommend going back to see the expansion. It is also in the cutest little shopping area with clothings stores, coffee place, a cafe, snacks, and so much more. Definitely give yourself extra time before or after your appt to walk around the Fred.

I booked a Brow Magic appointment with Tara, and overall I was happy with the service and my brows. My only disappointment was the timing. My appointment was scheduled for 3:45, and I arrived about 10 minutes early. Since there isn't a receptionist, I checked myself in and waited. Around 3:47, Tara popped her head out and let me know she'd need about 7 more minutes, which was completely understandable. However, it ended up being closer to 15 minutes. Around 4, she came out with her previous client, checked her out, and booked her next appointment before bringing me back. I totally understand that appointments can run over, and things happen, but I felt like there wasn't much acknowledgment of the delay or consideration for my time. Thankfully, I didn't have anywhere else I needed to be, but if I had, it could have been frustrating. I think what stood out to me most is that if I had shown up 15 minutes late, I likely would have been charged a fee or asked to reschedule. I believe that same respect for clients' time should go both ways. With that being said, I probably won't be back. The space was beautiful and the shop was cute though.
