First time in. Pics looked good. They slayed my nails. I wanted sharp, square, dip-powder, that's thin, and the color is bubble bath. I have short natural nails. I don't remember the name of the girl who did them, but she gave me owner vibes. Girl next to me was getting very cute nails too! So I think the proof of their work is absolutely shown in the photos online. I paid $50 for single color dip powder and it was very worth it. Probably the best dip powder I've ever had. And there's no imperfections in the powder, no bubbles, very even coat on my nails. read more

Technique is terrible they overcharge you if you want the proper technique if you value your natural nail go to element down the street. She cut and lifted my natural nail to take a lifting tip off and now I have to have two short nails so that it doesn't look terrible lifted my nail off the nail bed, attempting to take it off with scissor. they're rushing and overcharging for low quality product.when you ask for what you are supposed to be getting with your service they make you feel like you're asking for more. Left with my nails not done. Still charge $60 for her to file and add barely any product. She also messed up my shape that I've been growing for six months. read more

This place is like wine and gets better with time. I visited them when they first opened in 2018, and I am still going in 2026. They're now my only nail salon of choice. I usually work with Adrian, who is fast, professional, and funny. I always get great nails when I go there, and sometimes I take a leap of faith and let Adrian recommend something and he never steers me wrong. Update: The owner, Nikki, reached out promptly to discuss this matter & did her part to make it right. I'd now be open to exploring other nail techs at her salon! I came here monthly for hard gel and pedicures with Trish and always tipped well for over 9 months. But about a month and a half ago, I switched from hard gel to regular gel, and the customer service completely changed. Suddenly, every "appointment" with Trish turned into her passing me off to someone else -- and my nails started chipping or peeling same day. After 2 extremely bad appointments, I decided to give them one last chance. I told Trish I didn't want to be pawned off again, and wanted her to do my nails. This specific appointment, I was looking for her recommendation to strengthen my nails. She suggested dip -- but as she began the dip process, I noticed the color looked off from the color I picked at the beginning of my appointment. When I pointed it out, she immediately says that it was not the color I picked out, and then acted annoyed when I said she needed to use the color I picked out originally. To "fix" it, she slapped one thin layer over the dip, and this is how my $72 nails looked just four days later. Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me! I'm officially done with this salon and recommend anyone who is considering to go here to NOT. Inflation is inflating!!! - don't waste your hard earned money on a salon this negligent and careless. read more

I live next door to this place and have been going here out of convenience. After so many bad experiences today I walked out of my appointment that they were late to on 6/13/26. I am tired of the AWFUL attitude of the owner and her employees that she treats like trash that then treat clients like trash. I really wanted to like this place because they are close to home but they just don't hit the mark. I've been twice for a pedicure that was mediocre at best. The tech was very nice but the quality of work is terrible. I usually get the top tier pedicure to make sure I cover all of the bases. Both times I've left with my heels as crusty as when I came in. I'm a cosmetologist and a cosmetology instructor and I know when someone is juts "going through the motions" That's the vibe I get each time from this tech. It sucks to pay so much and leave a good tip and have to go home and work on your own feet. Not good and even though I gave them another chance ... I won't be trying them a 3rd time read more

Nails are fine. But every time you make an appointment you will wait at least 20 minutes. They overbook every single day and tell you they are understaffed. I have waited 30-40 minutes before. They're close and convenient but they shouldn't overbook every day. read more

This was my first time at midtown only because they were close to my job and were opened late. I called around noon to see if they could see me for a full set and a pedicure and they happily accepted and scheduled an appointment for me same day. When I arrived, I was helped by Cindy. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she exceeded my expectations. My nails came out beautifully. I would go back again to see her. She made a suggestion to put chrome on my nails that would have otherwise been nude and it makes my nails look 1000% better than the inspo pic. I love my nails and am constantly getting compliments on them. I would recommend Cindy for long full set nails! read more

I've been coming here for almost 2 years and have never had an issue but was so disappointed today. I got a full acrylic set two days ago and ended up not liking the shape of two of them as they looked different than my other hand. It seemed like it would be an easy file fix but that didn't solve the problem and when I asked to get the two redone I was given the run around and not helped. I always make an appointment and it's 20+ minute wait past the appointment time every single time if it's a weekend. I go to a couple nail salons but come enough it's happened to me 10+ times here. All an appointment means is you have an appointment to wait. If it weren't for the proximity to my home and they do a nice job, I wouldn't come back any more. I also don't like how their lotions smell on the skin about an hour after services. And they need to replace the waiting area chairs because they make an embarrassing noise when everyone sits down initially. read more

I do like coming here to get my nails done. They get me right away, however I recommend calling before-hand to get an appointment instead of waiting. I like how they take care of my nails and do what I request for. The prices are reasonable and the service is fine. I enjoy coming here because the place is always clean, spacious, and classy. Honestly I haven't gone to a nail salon in so long because I always have the worst experiences. however today I decided to try this salon out. For starters Autumn up at the front was so sweet and attentive. there was no language barrier which is always a plus. The salon itself is so cute and well kept. The massage chairs work really well honestly shocked. I just received the most HORRID manicure that I ever ever had in my life here by a very older woman. First off I pick up on all ENERGY, and I didn't like her energy from the start! I don't like anyone touching me with very negative energy. She was extremely rough and tugging at my hangnail I had to shout ouch, strike 2, then strike 3 she proceeded to put lotion on my hands and twisted my right thumb that already has a nodule on it so I yanked my thumb out of her hand, and at this point was done didn't want any color! So FUCK no I would NEVER come here again even though it was a referral? Then grandma sits at the table and discusses me with her 2 other coworkers in their language, I could've let the ChiTown come out but she isn't worth it, but in my past it would've been dealt with very different. The beauty in business is you don't have to return to a business, and you have the pleasure to leave such detail reviews on YOUR experience with that business. Therefore, I won't be back, I hope others proceed with caution, if they see grandma, umm bypass and get someone else, and she damn sure won't get a tip for her piss poor service. I'm first time came to Midtown Nail Lounge.They did sns powder my nails not correctly and were left bumalso they couldn't match my nail color from hands to toes so had to go elsewhere to get nails done right. When I spoke up to let them know what they did wrong and hoping to get someone else to fix, I was told they couldn't do anything else... what horrible customer service....never be back again read more
