Me and my boyfriend was camping out at Lake Lanier.. woke up hi and hungry af!!! Found this place near by so we came here. I just wanted Country Fried Steak but DAMN!!! This ended up being a Soul Food AND Mexican joint IN ONE! We ordered so much damn food! The Meatloaf and Country Fried Steak was strait... but the Menudo and Burrito was FIRE!!!!! This burrito was so damn big and the tortilla was so thin and crispy.. like, I was pulling the crisp off wondering how the hell they got a thin crispy ass tortilla rolled THAT BIG! It was PERFECTION!! The Menudo.. BOMB! The waitress who brought us our food, Bless her cuz she was so sweet! She brought us ALLLLLLL the diff salsas! I hooked that Menudo up soooo good and soooo spicy!! The tortilla that came with that was soooo light and soft and like, furry! I know rite?! My boyfriend had tacos too but I didn't get a pix or a bite of that cuz I already had too much damn food in front of me! But we will DEFINITELY drive allllll the way up here again cuz this Menudo was everythang and my boyfriends been on a hunt for a good burrito and he said THIS WAS IT! GRACIAS!!!!! :D

Tried this local BFast spot that appears a popular neighborhood destination, especially among local work crews. Customer service was very friendly, and they keep the customers moving through the buffet-style line (which is NOT self-serve, thankfully). I tried the breakfast burrito which was baked (???), but had good flavor. I also had sausages on the side, which were very good. I tried my wife's biscuits and gravy, as well as her scrambled eggs. They were okay, nothing remarkable. I did not try her hot links, though she said they tasted good. Regrettably, the meal didn't sit too well with my wife, though I came through unscathed. Cheers! RS

Ordered about $15 worth of food and they charged $30. For basic breakfast this place is a ripoff. I think they charge different prices based on the clientele.

Here for a mix of southern food and Mexican.

With it being Hispanic Heritage month you should come here. Locally owned hole in the wall restaurant that serves souther food cafeteria style but you can also Mexican food has well that is authentic or at least reminds me of Mexican food I grew up with in Southern California. We have been here a bunch and while inside it is a bit outdated you come here for the food and the friendly staff. The breakfast is amazing from omelettes to French toast to biscuits and you build what you want. Lunch and dinner you can get why you want. I often get flautas, tacos, or a burrito or well any of Mexican items. My husband almost always get the Southern food which can be meatloaf, turkey and dressing or even fried steak. They have all fixins from creamed corn, Lima head, multiple potato offerings to multiple bread selections. You honestly have to not want to eat to not be able to find something you are craving here. For drinks it's either a soda fountain or you can get bottles and cans of what you are craving. So see everyone is covered when you come here. They also do a large catering business so if you have a need to feed a lot of folks you may want to ask them to cater your dinner, event or just to have a lot of good food at home.

It was more like corn pancakes and salty pork. I have had real Gordita at tako Express up the street from here ... this is not them

Came here on a recommendation of a friend. First let's start with the menus. As soon as you walk in you see a ton of country cooking laid out buffet style. But the menu has none of it on it it's filled with Mexican food (witch I love) I tried to ask him how it worked I still don't get it. So I order a gordita filled with chorizo side of rice. It was a huge mess. Could not even pick it up. The chorizo was super salty. I know it's normally on the salty side but this was a little much. Also never saw my rice. My buddy came with me. He ordered the enchiladas they said they only had an order of six. What person will eat six enchiladas for lunch. It's such a mess he can't even share it see photo. It was 15$ I may give them another try if I can figure out how to read their menu but not impressed.

This authentic Mexican place deserves 7 stars... Alex the owner works really hard to please his customers all day long--breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant is one of those great hole in the wall authentic places. I eat two steak tacos with a pineapple fresh squeezed juice that were fantastic. The servers are very attentive with a smile in their face each time you ask them for anything. Thanks Alex for this delicious tacos. I will visit you as often as possible, even when I live far ;)

Biscuit was good, egg on it was overdone for my taste. The sausage on the biscuit was dry-instead of fresh they just took from the buffet.

Rendezvous Cafe is such a gem in Cumming. Their pastries are baked in-house daily (and you can…read moreabsolutely taste the difference), and all of their sandwiches and café offerings are made fresh to order. Everything feels thoughtful and high quality, not rushed or mass-produced. On top of that, their customer service is phenomenal -- friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help you decide or make recommendations. Their seasonal drinks are always on point, especially the Valentine's raspberry truffle latte, which was chef's kiss. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

This place I thought would be amazing with the reviews but I'm genuinely concerned. The system in…read morethe cafe is weird everyone is scrunched up I didn't feel comfortable talking because we were so close to the other table. Ambiance is way too crapped if you're claustrophobic you're probably not going to be able to stay here. System is whack because the drinks aren't on the menu you have to GET UP and go up and figure out what drink you want. Then they can only make it one way you can't asked for something cold/hot. Not to mention the floors were nasty, tables not wiped, and in general I hated the experience. The food looked like something you heat up in the microwave. Specially the croissant because it looks like jimmy deans croissants from Walmarts freezer section. Then to top it all off there was a 12-14 INCH HAIR PIECE In our food. I was disgusted. The chai latte tasted like straight up cold milk with some cinnamon on top. I've had tons of chai in my life but by far that one was the worst. I wouldn't come back and I pray that they get everything back in order. I see the business owner replied to my review. I will like to say as a customer if I share a review then I truly believe that things should be fixed, not excuses or "seen footage". If I had Gotten all the way up and went to the counter and said "I just found a 12-14 hair piece in my food" things still would not have changed due to us already being done with our experience and wanting to leave . Now with the cleaning situation there was tons of food under the tables and the tables weren't wiped. No one came to clean at all so the comments on the cleaning was way off for me, everyone was working BEHIND The counter. I also believe with the drinks I am not talking just about the Tiramisu Latte. I originally was not planning on getting the Tiramisu but when I asked for something else hot they said only iced. And no it is not a personal preference of a Chai latte a Chai latte should not taste like cold milk with cinnamon dust. Thank you for taking time to reply to my review. We also did NOT finish our food and the "seen footage" accusations is a bit harsh. As a Yelp Elite member it is important to be 100% REAL with my reviews. I take passion and respect for every business out there but I genuinely am concerned, especially with how defensive the owner is to my review. The rude server at the front also made us not feel comfortable coming up and doing something. Now seeing how the owner is acting I am even more worried.. A chai is suppose to be BROWN not PURE WHITE. If you truly looked at the footage you would've seen me pull that long hair piece out.

Choosing between one of eight items off the menu while waiting in the excessively long line and watching said items getting crossed off the board one by one put me back in my foodie youth days where waiting in line for food was a way of life. As a suburbanite on the go with kids these days, I need my food and I need it quick! The prices are definitely "boutique" and not your average soup and sandwich cafe fare. The organic, cruelty free, non-GMO, dye free, peace loving beverage options were somewhat limiting if you're looking for 'named brands'. But enough of my experience trying to function in public, let's talk food! The lemon bar was AMAZING. A must order with the tangy lemony goodness topped with toasted meringue that gave roasted marshmallow vibes. Chicken burrito was "nothing special" per my wordsmith spouse. The veggie packed Quiche was delicious and enormous. Not what I would typically expect but something of its own, like a pasta-less vegetable lasagne. And so filling, I could have shared (but let's be clear, I did not). The best part overall is the experience of getting to eat outside on a beautiful day surrounded by all the joys of a farm! Ask for the goat snacks - compostable scraps you can feed directly to the goats! Everyone wins on a day at The Cafe!

It was mid morning so we each sampled two baked goods. After receiving a box with cutlery and napkins we found a table. The food and beverage (her hot tea with honey) came out quickly. I really enjoyed the tea cake, which was a petit four and the lemon meringue bar. My friend also had a tea cake and the carrot cake muffin. We agreed everything was very tasty. The prices ranged from reasonable to slightly high and the quality of the products was excellent. They had a nice overall brunch menu along with coffees, teas and accompaniments for them. I will look forward to going back again.
