This place was a nice surprise. Just five minutes from our new house. It was high 70's and a beautiful evening so we sat in the patio. Bummer though that we couldn't have our dog out there with us. They have a no pets policy. Anyway, the food was very good. Salsa was good. Nice flavor. I'd prefer a little bit more cilantro. Just adds to the flavor. We started with some chorizo cheese dip. Wow. Delish!! We really liked that. That's practically a food group all by itself. Then I did my usual regardless of which Mexican restaurant I go to. Carne Asada. This was prepared just like I requested. Medium. And it had a side of refried beans, guacamole and rice. Perfect. My wife did an enchilada of some sort. She said it was great. Service was excellent. An older woman. Abit disappointing from the server not differentiating the guacamole options ahead of time. One was avocado only and the supposed table side guacamole that came out prepared on the kitchen. Salsa was fresh and tasty. Chips were ok. Charged for 10 pickled jalapeño slices. Booth seats were dirty despite the empty restaurant. Chicken tortilla soup was plentiful. We stopped by one afternoon for margaritas and chips/salsa. Just a midday treat. So happy we did! The guacamole was perfect, and the portion was more than we could eat. The queso was also very tasty, more so by the healthy dollop of jalapeños on top. Throw in some tasty margaritas (you could taste the tequila -- YAY!), some fresh/warm chips, and you have a perfect afternoon snack. Bitter sweet review today. This is our last time enjoying the food and drinks. Moving to Florida this is my last time coming here. The music was amazing, I love going to a Mexican restaurant and they actually have Mexican music playing! As soon as we were seated we were served with chips and salsa. Our server brought us our pitcher of margaritas we ordered along with my husband ordered his usual carne asada, I tried something new, Laredo quesadillas w/shrimp. Very good. I absolutely love this restaurant. I have been going to Laredo's for years and they NEVER disappoint. Service is fast, food is amazing, and the staff is super friendly! Before you order, they always bring fresh tortilla chips to the table and you KNOW they are fresh because of the excellent crunch! They also serve the chips with salsa which is ok in my opinion. I generally prefer chunkier salsa. My go to selection is always the Rollos de fajitas. Honestly I feel like everything on that menu is amazing so you'll never be disappointed regardless of what you choose. The Rollos de fajitas are stuffed to the brim with your choice of meat, grilled peppers, and grilled onions. The whole thing is COVERED in a generous helping of queso and topped off with lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado. Absolutely delicious and I'm always satisfied. As she hand squeezed the limes for our Margaritas she provided some excellent recommendations, which came as fast as our chips and salsa! Hands down best table salsa I've tasted in years! I'm pretty surprised by all the bad reviews here, and if it wasn't for my friends telling me it was good I probably would have ended up not going. My only negative here was the service was pretty slow, but overall our server was still really friendly and responsive when we needed something. I would maybe not choose this place when I was in a rush. The food here was really and the portions were huge. I got fish and shrimp enchiladas and they were a little heavy on the fish and light on the shrimp but still tasty. I definitely recommend getting the guacamole - that was really delicious. I loved Laredo's so much that I decided to write my first ever Yelp review! From the time we were seated, the entire staff was friendly and helpful with food choices. We were each given our own salsa bowl, and our Coke Zero's were never empty! We could tell care went into the presentation of our dishes, and the ingredients in our meals were fresh and cooked to perfection. I got the super burrito it was decent with rice it was decent. The rice had a pea in it which I don't like but other than that it's always really good. The waitress wasn't very attentive. This Laredo's location is close to our house and is a quick 'what are we having for dinner' stop about twice a month. My wife always go for the same thing 'street quesadillas', but I am trying to work my way through the menu so I can try most things. Is it the best TexMex around, probably not, but it is pretty good, fairly priced, and consistent, all of which is wanted when you are just trying to grab some dinner. The four salsas you get with the chips are pretty good. We all seem to like the green one the best. The tortillas I got with my fajitas last time looked and tasted homemade, which was great. Thre is one thing they could improve on, and that is staff. We have had great wait staff there and some not so great ones. The not so great ones have gotten orders wrong, overcharged us (stuff on our bill that went to another table), and given us the wrong bill. It isn't bad enough to stop us coming back, but I feel I need to check the bill closely each time. Also, you get reward points which give you money off you next bill, but am unsure how this works as the handheld billing machine doesn't give you an option to use your points, or at least I can't figure it out. I should probably ask, and I can hear all the Gen Z saying 'boomers and technology' and rolling their eyes right now, lol read more

When I ordered my drink I immediately ordered cheese dip per usual but I wouldn't have had I known they were bringing four different salsas. On top of that, the cheese dip was $9.00. I don't recall queso being that expensive, yet everything in life currently is expensive. I also ordered steak and chicken (Classico on the menu) fajitas without the tortillas. IT WAS SO GOOD! The house seasoning on the meat and veggies was awesome! The black beans though were AH-MAZING. I don't know what, who, how they seasoned them but I ate every bite before I got to the skillet. I could've made them my meal but let's be honest, I'm a carnivore. There was plenty of the skillet for another meal so the 16.00 price tag was worth every penny. Our hostess Eli was very attentive. My waitress could even bother to check in to see if I needed anything, even though I was her only table.Had to find her just to get my bill... Visiting from out of state. Stopped for dinner We barely sat down and they were quick with plenty of chips and salsa. Both were very good. Five of us were there. 2 ordered the steak/chicken fajitas, one beef enchilada, one order of chicken/steak tacos and I ordered the large steak burrito Outside of the enchilada which I was told the beef was bland, everyone else really enjoyed their meal and there was plenty of food. Waitress was very attentive. Prices were reasonable in the new economy. I wasn't drinking but if I was, I'd have ordered a large beer as they freezer their glasses.
