The park is really nice on the old side. They did open a new side and since it's new not any trees or shade. I only have two issues with this place. One is the garbage. There is only one spot for trash and it is far. They cater to long term people who stay there and they throw out the trash in way out. For the day or two campers not ideal at all. They should do what a lot of other places do and have you place garbage out at a certain time for pick up. Also they don't like people to use the bathhouses/restrooms. Very weird. We don't do solids in our rv so we use the bathrooms at the campgrounds. Well there is really only one and it's in the new section which is a substantial walk from the old. There is a really nice laundry room that is massive just put a bathroom in there and let people use it. There was actually a sign that treated to close the restrooms because they were getting dirty. Due to those two things that are very fixable it can not get 5 stars.

There are a myriad of reasons I do not recommend this group starting with the fact they helped book a family vacation that sent us (at their recommendation) to a resort that was much more suitable for drunk singles than families with kids in spite of the fact they new exactly what we were looking for and the mix of people traveling. It was clear that every aspect of their planning was focused on what generated the most commissions and spiffs, not what was best for our family. To top it all off, the charter flight to Cancun that they practically insisted we fly on was delayed by two hours coming back to Kansas City, which caused us to miss all of our flights from there (for family that had to fly other places like us). Because we were on a charter flight they had no responsibility for all of our connections, which they made abundantly clear to us (via text message). This was their chance to jump in and prove their worth but they did the exact opposite. Our agent (Leslie) told us that while the online flight status showed we'd miss our flights, she had gotten "direct confirmation" that the flights would be delayed and we'd make them. When we landed in Kansas City and it turned out she was totally wrong, it became clear she had done nothing during our 3 hour flight to check on status or look for alternatives. If she had done this she could have booked us on two different flights out but by the time we landed we were within the booking window where this could not be done. This mistake cost us over $1,500 in new ticket purchases since our prior tickets were non-refundable and the airline they were on (Southwest) did not have any flights with availability for three days. I have never had to deal with an organization so focused on their own best interests and so unconcerned about helping their clients. It is clear that the minute we booked travel and they got their commission they felt their job was done, when the reality is they should have been engaged to ensure things went smoothly throughout our trip. I cannot figure out how they stay in business unless they have a lot of friends who feel guilty using alternative travel planners.

Large Full Hookup Sites…read more I've stayed here twice now with a very long 5th wheel RV. Both times, I made my reservation by phone (816-503-4805). The reservationist was very pleasant both times. I've only stayed in the West Loop and only in Site 73. This site is large and on a corner. It slopes to the front (street) pretty good. Bring leveling blocks for the front of your RV. The site is very deep and should accommodate the largest of RVs. The site has 50 amp power, water and sewer with partial shade at the back. Satellite from the roof is perfect here. I paid $30 per night in July 2017. I'd stay here again. Clean and quiet and not far from shopping, restaurants etc.
