This is a family owned business started in 1978 by a woman and passed to her daughter who owns it now. How do I know this? Because as I was sorting out an issue where my order didn't get delivered to the room of a hospital, the owner told me the story while telling me how important it is to her to get flowers to patients in hospital after her mom passed. This is a company who cares about the person placing the order AND the one who is receiving the gift. I used country florist for my wedding and Paulette was absolutely amazing! She made the most beautiful arrangements for my centerpieces, bouquets and venue decor. She even framed the gazebo where the ceremony was held with this spectacular floral arch. Paulette also decorated the wedding cake with her flowers and went above and beyond by helping set up the ceremony chairs when we had a miscommunication with the venue. She helped to make it the most perfect day, and I will definitely be returning to Country Florist for anything else that I will need. read more

Trusted them for past two years via long distance orders. Last week I ordered a Birthday arrangement. When the flowers were delivered the recipient thought she smelled paint. Sure enough some old flowers had been sprayed painted! I am not making this up. I would have never thought of that in the first place. My lady took them back and they were replaced. How embarrassing! Husband ordered flowers the day before our anniversary. They call me that day talk about spoiling the surprise. Florist provided flowers for a wedding this past weekend for which I used provided by the bride. She had stated that this florist wanted her to pick up her flowers by mid week for a weekend wedding. Should have flowers not arrive until Friday. By Friday the roses were already browning and wilting. When asked who provided flowers she wouldn't say but another attendant told us who it was. Highly disappointed, will not recommend. read more

So, my first interaction with her was incredibly rude. She called my phone to see where we lived. We live on the outer skirts of Sherman's city limits, but in Sherman, nonetheless. She was upset with us that she couldn't find our house. Secondly, not only did she deliver a very sad-looking, immature, floral arrangement, that looked absolutely nothing like the $70 arrangement that was paid for, she was extremely rude when we called to respectfully talk to her about it. Her words were, "Are you complaining?!!" And then she hung up on us. We were only trying to have a conversation at the time, but now...Yes, ma'am we are complaining. If you didn't have the time or resources to do the job, you should have told us and we could have gone elsewhere. read more

Worst experience ever. My son picked out a bouquet of flowers which were already made out of the cooler. He told them that he wanted the ones for his mom (me) to look like that. Granted the bouquet in the cooler was 18 roses and he only wanted 12, the arrangement should have been on a smaller scale but similar to what he picked out. My husband paid for what he believed was going to be a nice dozen red roses. When the flowers were delivered the next day they looked nothing like what was ordered. They r not red (we were told by the owner she just used what she had left) They looked more like a bouquet from Walmart which had some babies breath added and put in a vase. When we called and tried to speak to the owner about our diaappoinment she became very defensive and would not let us get a word in. Eventually she told us basically that she was sorry we did not like it but that was the way it was. I will never recommend this florist and hope that NO ONE. chooses them for any occation. read more

If I could give Paulette 10 stars, I would. Not sure why people are giving her 1-star reviews. This lady came through for me on my wedding day. I thought I could be a big girl and make my own arrangements, boutineers, and corsages, I thought wrong! I called her around 10am the day of my wedding (my wedding was later that evening) and told her that I needed help with the corsages and boutineers, I told her what my flowers looked like over the phone and what I wanted, keep in mind she hadn't seen them. I get a picture from her and it was exactly wanted a wanted!!! I also forgot that I needed a bouquet and called her a couple hours later to order that, it was amazing as well. I go and pick up my flowers around 2 or so, and I finally get to meet Paulette, and I absolutely loved her! She was such a beautiful lady with a kind soul. So if you procrastinate or do everything last minute like me and need some flowers, call Paulette, she will not fail you! I will NEVER use another flower shop again!! Avoid Country Florist at all costs. On July 28, 2015 I ordered flowers off 1800flowers.com that were supposed to be sunflowers with a mix of other small flowers in a nice clear vase accented with a hand-tied raffia. What Country Florist sent my wife wasn't even close to what I paid for. The flowers were daisies instead of sunflowers and none of the smaller flowers were the same either. The arrangement didn't look even close to as full as the 1800flowers picture. Instead of a nice vase it looked like a cheap one from the Dollar store. Instead of raffia around the vase they used a strand of green ribbon that wasn't arrange in a pretty way at all. If I wanted something cheap for about $20 I wouldn't have minded those flowers but I spent $80 and expected something nicer than what I could have picked up in the clearance section of Krogers. I got my money back from 1800flowers so Country Florist picked up their flowers from my wife and they were rude and defensive. read more

Dealing with this florist was the worst experience ever. My husband placed an order yesterday for flowers to be delivered early on Valentines day. I just received them now at 130PM. My husband had to call them to send them out otherwise I would not have received them at all. The flowers looked as if they had been thrown into a vase - no arrangement at all, one of the roses had been snapped and broke off. I called up to tell the florist and the person I spoke to yelled into the phone the whole time and did not let me get a word in. I asked her if she was done yelling at me and just to forget it. She continued to rant and rave that she threw in some extra flower to compensate for the late delivery due to her driver mixing up my husbands order and someone else's cancellation, that this was one of her best arrangements, that she wasn't a grocery store.. etc...What was supposed to be a good feeling that I got flowers turned into a bad experience.. I am actually at a loss for words here.. I don't recommend this florist to anyone that wants to cheer up a person with flowers.. you would be better off to stop at the local "grocery store" and deliver them yourself. I can't even bring myself to give her one star! read more
