I received flowers that looked dull and were already going down the next day. I wasn't quick to call but took pictures, when I did call was promised a call back to see what they could do due to there being a 7 day window (which I qualified for) and they never called me back in attempts to fix this issue. I then had to call again and they said they misspoke and there was only a 48hour window and didn't even show interest in looking at the pictures. You can get better and longer lasting flowers at a grocery store!! Don't waste your money. read more

W ORST SERVICE EVER This year, I had the presence of mind to order flowers for my wife on Valentine's day several days early. I arranged to have them delivered the day before V-day. My camera shows the delivery guy ringing the doorbell a few times at 09:30 in the morning. There was no call to give us some kind of idea when they were coming. The man did not attempt to knock on the door. He did not leave a note on the door. No communication whatsoever. No phone call. No email. No message about when delivery might happen the next day. I tried to call them 4 times. First time, busy signal (??? when was the last time you got a bust signal these days?) All other times - absolutely no answer. It is now 5 pm on Valentine's day, and I look like a jerk. My wife is upset. Thanks a lot for ruining my day. NEVER AGAIN. RUN FROM THIS FLORIST. RIDICULOUSLY BAD SERVICE. read more

I ordered a dozen red roses and they were beautiful and fresh. I will use them again.

They delivered quite a few flowers/plants for my moms funeral, not even one was what was ordered. when called and asked they were rude and said "you didn't have to accept" we were unaware of what was ordered until after the service. literally could have gone to Sam's and done better did not contact the customers and explain they didn't have what was ordered, which I don't believe, they just sent the same thing that isn't even close as to what w as ordered. read more

Have always used Wayside Florist and have always been happy with the flowers they send out. Unfortunately I was embarrassed when I saw the arrangement they sent my mother on her birthday. I have picked up better flowers at Walmart. Don't know what has changed there but be careful when you order. read more

When a business makes an error, they usually DO NOT make the customer pay for it. I picked up my flowers to save them from having to deliver them. Instead of 2 bouquets already prepared for me - they gave me one because I mentioned that I got flowers earlier in the week from the same relative. SO THEY KEPT THEM. Not gracious, not get well & enjoy, not "our mistake." Customer service? They made their choice & now I make mine. Another florist who cares about the customer rather than one bouquet. They will re-sell it, I'm sure. Last $ they will make from me. Very disappointed. read more

I have been a customer of Wayside for years. I walked in a few days ago to order flowers and told them I wanted them delivered to TI. Their response was "oh, TI is the worst to deliver to". I already know that because I have had flowers sent there for years. There's this little thing called customer service that should come before your personal thoughts and feelings that you convey to your customer. Then when I asked them to be delivered on Valentines Day, they acted put out because they had so much to do. Hello, you are a flower shop and it is Valentines Day. I hear people talking about how they want Sherman to grow, it won't happen with customer service like this. Go to Collin County and see if you're treated that way. When picking a florist to arrange for a wedding, there is an extreme level of trust required. For the sake and sanity of all other brides, I'll warn you right now not to do business with Wayside. Not only did they back out on a prearranged and prescheduled order 10 days before the wedding, they also hung up on the bride, TWICE. The rude attitude and careless nature of Nadine, the owner, was not only unprofessional but it was also immature. I would give this company a zero if that were possible. The arrangement delivered looked nothing like what I ordered. I paid $100 for something I would not give you $5 for. I ordered pink flowers and I got 6 yellow lilies. I don't even like yellow lilies. The balloons were an ugly shade of blue and green. The entire order was a joke. The website that I used to order from (AVAS) is the one Wayside used for online orders. The site states that if you are not happy that and exchange of equal or greater value if you call within 24 hours. I called within 0NE HOUR and this Chris from Wayside refused to honor the policy. The positive was the quickness but the negative outweighed it. I asked for long lasting flowers and she said okay you would like a fall arrangement. I said "no, I want any arrangement with long lasting flowers". Two days after it arrived I was pulling out dead day lilies. Wonder why they are called day lilies. Horrible, that's how I would rate their customer service and professionalism. I ordered flowers for my Mom's birthday early in the day. After talking with my Mom in the early evening, she had not received her flowers. I called Wayside. They said, " we called her twice. She didn't answer, so we didn't deliver." Wayside didn't even attempt to deliver them. I assured Wayside that she was home and asked them to deliver them (4:53 pm). They told me no, that they would deliver them in the morning. It wasn't Valentines day or anything. They could have delivered them. But they didn't, which I think is a horrible, unacceptable way to treat a customer. In my opinion, they should have called me to let me know that they were having issues. I've order a ton of flowers from respectable florists, and I've never heard of such a ridiculous policy of calling the customer BEFORE delivery. I asked the manager "Doesn't calling before you deliver ruin the element of surprise?" He replied, "they get a surprise phone call." Seriously? Considering this, I think EVERYONE should avoid this place. Imagine trying to surprise your wife on Valentines or anniversary? If they would've told me their call-before-delivery policy up front, I wouldn't have ordered because I wanted to surprise her with a delivery. What makes matters worse, my mother is suffering from a terminal illness and she might not have another birthday. read more

NEVER AGAIN. My husband ordered me a rose bouquet for our anniversary 2 weeks prior to the actual date of 9-6. The flowers were to be a surprise, and were set to be delivered on 9-06. So my hubby made sure I was home that day. At 2, my cell rings and a voicemail is left by a not so friendly lady saying that the truck was being loaded, and if we didn't call within ten minutes, my flowers wouldn't be put on the truck. Well, there went my surprise. Great job wayside. So, I try to not show my disappointment, and ask my hubby to call back, since he was the one that ordered them. Remember, this was supposed to be an anniversary SURPRISE. He calls back, and they say ok, they are going on the truck. 3pm comes, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8...Nothing. We have hung around all day waiting for these SURPRISE flowers. He calls back up there after 8pm, and of course no one answered. He fb messaged them and timeline messaged. How did wayfair handle this? They BLOCKED him and did not respond to his question of NONDELIVERY for an order he had ALREADY PAID FOR, was verified to deliver today, and was called in to my cell which ruined the surprise! So we got to sit and wait all evening for something that would never arrive on our anniversary. You may of blocked my husband for trying to reach you regarding this, but you didn't block me. After reading the Google reviews and Yelp reviews, I don't think I wanted then anyways. Horrible way to handle a "business". If he hadn't already paid for these that's one thing. This was a prepaid and accepted order. It just blows my mind that they called to verify I was home and never showed, and then blocked him for trying to reach someone! Horrible customer service. They advertised a arrangement on their website. I ordered the arrangement and set delivery up for the following week. I paid, in full, for the order. Two days later I get a message that in order for them to make the arrangement they needed $15 more because they couldn't make the arrangement for the stated price. Really? This is the way you want to do business? Very unprofessional and when I spoke to and asked the person why they couldn't honor their advertised price the lady was very rude and snippy on the phone.
