Hubby had the Aussie burger. I had a double burger and we ordered a sundae. What arrived was a banana split...meh

A great little hometown place to eat. Not the cheapest, but pretty good and very friendly. One star is removed for the dirty and sticky tables. They weren't cleaned in between people and were really sticky. We'd eat here again.

    Fun sign out front.

If you're local, you probably know this place is delicious, as there was a steady stream of people in and out. I was driving to SLC from Steamboat, and this burger joint caught my eye. I got a burger that would inspire Quentin Tarantino to write a movie set in wherever I am in Utah. The burger was huge, had a plentiful amount of toppings, is made with local beef (or so the sign tells me), and was fantastic. Great flavors, and not too much on the topping to overpower the yummy beef taste. The onion rings were a bit greasy, but just grab some extra napkins (and put a few under the container. The onions were very flavorful, which is about 80% of what makes an onion ring for me. The breading wasn't too thick, and was crispy. Make the stop. Don't miss this burger joint. They're making everything fresh, so it does take a few minutes to get your order.

Amazing food here at Country Grub! We're on a road trip from California and this might be our favorite meal of our trip. I enjoyed the turkey avocado sandwich. Grilled onions, turkey, avocado, & mayo, in a perfectly crispy sourdough. The onion rings were also delicious. My family had burgers and everyone loved them. The sweet treats and service were also terrific! We only wish we had a Country Grub in California!

    Pure burger happiness

A little mom an pop on the way into Vernal Utah that has the best food for miles around! Low prices and service with a smile are a welcome bonus also. My wife and I had the Grub burger with fries and were not disappointed in the least! The fries were delicious, seasoned with the right amount of salt ( but not over seasoned), cooked perfectly also! The burger is practically a food group In itself, with bacon, provolone Cheese ,and all the fixings wrapped around a meat patty that was cooked right to the point of perfection, and all this happiness between 2 toasted cibatta buns! Highly recommended to anybody who has that hole in your gut that's crying to be filled!!

This is all the bread that didn't have meat. And one of my many uncooked fries.

First of all I paid 21$ for two sandwiches that had little to no meat in them. I pretty much just paid for bread. Secondly they gave me uncooked fries. I am very disappointed with where this amazing restaurant has come too.

Mmm, ultimate burger indeed. Gimme gimme.

Country Grub, everyone who goes to Dinosaur National Monument ought to stop in like we did. Your wait staff was lovely, the food was decently priced, and the work and care put into our food was superb. The options available are all you could ask from American comfort food, and everything seems to have a weighed price between quality and the bottom-line needed for the store with a good edge being given to the consumer for once in a fairly touristy area. The onion rings were really great, though they could have had a little less grease, and the burger patties were also good but could have used being a little more moist. Those two critiques being said, if I was a Vernal resident this place would be my go to and I would be hard-pressed I think to find a better restaurant. Great find, and thank you for a lovely experience!

Let's start off by saying the buns on the burgers were great! Super soft and great bread to meat ratio. The burgers were huge! Yummy and fresh. The bacon was thick cut, not skimpy on the toppings and my egg was amazing on my Aussie burger! Hubby got the huge double cheese burger and the kids got grilled cheese. We had the yummy fresh cut fries and tried the pickadilly potatoes. Interesting and fun to try. They let you have all the fry sauce you wanted too. We ordered 3 milkshakes and they were only $2 each! The only down side on the milkshake, was not a lot of flavor dang it. But still yummy and of course we still ate them. Would we go back? Yup! So many burgers to try. The ranger at the park said this place was great and she grew up working there. We knew that was a good sign if she still liked it after working there.

OK, 4 stars relative to McDonald's not as a cuisine as a whole…read more I haven't eaten at a McDonald's for years. Surprised to see mostly in-app or kiosk ordering. I got the app and saw a special for only $5. xx for a medium fry, drink, and choice of nuggets or Big Mac and maybe a third choice. Good deal! I chose the Big Mac. To get this deal, a QR code appeared. I didn't see at any kiosk to scan this and actually didn't see anywhere to scan this. An employee came to my aid and did the transaction at the (abandoned) register, so that was good, attentive service. To my surprise, the Big Mac came out picture perfect. My recollection of getting a Big Mac at McDonald's was that the lettuce looked like it exploded, the patty and buns were skeewampus--just a mess. This one was actually perfect. So...large is now "medium." The size of the fries and drink were what used to be the large size some years ago. Quality of the food is the same. The fries still give a weird after taste when you eat a fry and then take a drink of pop. This happened years ago when they abandoned using lard because of the falsehood that it was bad for you and switched to a worse yet alternative of a vegetable oil. McD's fries used to be the best on the planet. Used to be. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Everyone was friendly, thumbs up for the service. The menu was on the pricey side, but not outrageous. The music was at the perfect level, low enough to allow you to carry on a conversation without yelling. It was still noisy, though. The surprising number of kids there at lunch didn't help. TVs hung from the walls, with the volume off. I ordered baked wings, naked with Cajun dry rub. They were slightly overcooked, otherwise the flavor was ok. Average. They weren't spicy to me at all though they claim the Cajun is supposed to be. Most disappointing is how tiny the wings were. I spent most of my time searching for any meat. Seven teeny tiny wings for 12 bucks. Very disappointing. I'd love a beer. It looks like a good selection, especially for Utah. Gout though. Ugh. My score: 4.5 stars for service, one for value, one for wing size, and three stars for taste, what little meat I could find to taste. Total? Two stars.
