Even five days after the Celebration of Life, this stunning floral arrangement still graces the lobby of one of Kaka'ako's finest residences -- a true testament to its beauty and craftsmanship. I had one of those amazing "only in Hawai'i" experiences with Sharon of Country Heart Flowers. Relatively new to the area, I was looking for a reputable and creative florist to make an arrangement to take to a neighbor who had invited me to dinner. I called on the morning of, and got an immediate message to text instead. That's where the magic started, and we had a short back and forth text convo, agreed on a price, and Sharon got to work. I didn't fully realize that I was working with a florist without a store front - or even a website - but the yelp reviews provided the confidence I was seeking. While I was accustomed to browsing pictures of floral arrangements before ordering, I trusted Sharon to create something special for me to bring to dinner. In turn, Sharon trusted me to show up and pay for the arrangement - she just had my first name and didn't ask for a deposit or credit card. Note: Only cash is accepted. Sharon sent a text within an hour our two, with a picture, saying that the flowers were ready for pickup. She met me at the end of her home's driveway, and was very warm and gracious. A supplier was waiting just behind my vehicle to deliver more flowers...I could tell that Sharon was busy for good reason. The arrangement was stunning, complete with a braided palm (apparently a signature of Sharon's creations). The hosts loved it and were so impressed (as was I). Not only was this an experience that seems unique to the islands versus the mainland, but I have found a local florist that I will turn to with any future floral needs - all within a 5 minute drive from my home! read more

I just sent my daughter flowers to Kaneohe, Hawaii. I must have called five different florists before deciding on country heart flowers. Most flower shops are represented by third-party call centers. I was able to speak directly with Sharon the florist. She was super sweet and patient and helped me design a beautiful arrangement for my 22 year-old daughter not only did I call this morning but the flowers were arranged and delivered within two hours on the same day. Sharon was able to accommodate my last minute birthday gift. I am very impressed and will definitely recommend country heart flowers to anybody sending flowers to Oahu Hawaii. I live in California but wanted to send flowers to the memorial for my partner's mother who had just passed away. I'm so happy I found Country Heart Flowers on Yelp. I called on Monday, which is listed as their day off, and was able to place my order for tropical funeral flowers a week in advance without a problem. She also texted me to confirm who the flowers were for and what day and time they would be delivered to the graveside service. That really put me at ease not having been able to see the flowers in person. When the day came, the arrangement arrived before the service began and was placed where we requested. We were all in awe of how beautiful the arrangement was and the family insisted on taking it back to the house afterwards to enjoy. She even texted me photos of the arrangement and at the graveside immediately after delivery to confirm. This would be especially useful if you weren't there to receive the flowers. I am sooooo impressed! I got a "medium" sized bright Hawaiian bouquet for a best friend whose mom unexpectedly passed. I will definitely buy again. We paid $85+$15 delivery within kaneohe in two days (within kaneohe- $20 same day or $20 if going to Kailua not same day). This arrangement looks very expensive and totally worth the price. And when I saw a picture of the arrangement that my friend's relative sent to me, I noticed that the arrangement was so small with only six flowers, 3 white and 3 with other colors. I am so disappointed and I will never be a customer of this florist again.

We specifically went to the nursery one year in advance to look at florals meet with the designer and solidify our selections. I sent photos of my bouquet and the arrangements that I would like to have. We visited the nursery to get ideas about the size of centerpieces for the table and cocktail arrangements and ground arrangements. The nursery had a wedding that they were doing at that time and I took photos of what they had for another wedding. I expected our pieces to look very similar especially in terms of the quantity of flowers in the arrangements. The wedding photo inspirations that I gave to the nursery were directly from a previous wedding that they had done. It was very clear what I wanted my bouquet to look like and our flower arrangements. In addition we added a few other flowers after visiting the nursery, including pink gingers. This was something especially important that my Fiance wanted added to the arrangements. My bouquet arrived and looked like a bridesmaid bouquet. It was about half the size of the bouquet that I had wanted that this nursery had previously done for another bride. The florist did rework it on the spot to make it more align with my vision however it was missing purple orchids, which was something I wanted in the arrangement. I had no communication from the nursery that this flower would be missing off of my order. In addition, I did not see my table arrangements until 10 minutes prior to the wedding as I had a coordinator setting up. I was very disappointed in the arrangements as they had minimal flowers in the arrangements. Many of the flowers, including the ginger were missing from the arrangements despite the fact that I told them that was important to us. Again, there was no conversation about missing flowers. When I called to try to reconcile this, Karen was apologetic and said that their order had fallen short that week on delivery from their wholesaler. And that they had three other weddings and that the delivery of flowers was not up to standard. The owner of the nursery Kathy at first was kind, but then was extraordinarily rude condescending and gaslighted me as the problem. This is despite the fact I had very specific photos of my vision and very specific photos of what I was given, which were too very different things. The owner made me feel like I was the problem person in this equation, despite having very clear expectations for my wedding. I would not recommend working with this nursery not only did they fall short, but the owner could not be more rude.

Up until now, they've always done a great job, but this recent experience for Mother's Day was extremely disappointing. First, the delivery driver brought the wrong bouquet. I paid $209.41 (including delivery), but my mom received a bouquet that was clearly not what I ordered later confirmed to be a lower priced arrangement. I had to call customer service, who then contacted the driver immediately. While I appreciate that they responded quickly, it still took about 47 minutes for the driver to return, take back the incorrect bouquet, and retrieve the correct one from the truck. When the correct arrangement finally arrived, the presentation was still off. The vase was too short for the flowers, making the bouquet look unbalanced and like it was falling out. For over $200, I expected much better attention to detail and quality. On top of that, the company advertised "free delivery," but that only applied to very limited areas on the island. I still had to pay a delivery fee despite the initial mistake being entirely on their end, which felt misleading. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion like Mother's Day. I've had good experiences before, but this one really missed the mark.

The owners genuinely care about their customers. They are extremely friendly and personable. They still have Funkos, but have expanded to other toys such as Warhammer, various Star Wars toy lines, and even their own 3D printing items. And they carry kodamas! The store is organized, but also feels like a treasure chest. They found a good niche and offer an alternative get unique gifts that kids of all ages will like, but not the same as what you'd get at Target. Great place to get gifts for goodie bags too. Just a great Kaneohe institution that I hope will be here for years to come.

Born and raised in Kailua, Hawaii we now live in Virginia for the past twenty some years. Our families best friend's husband passed away and we wanted to send some flowers to her. I went on Yelp to see what I could find and give my business to that one. Let me tell you, I called Countryheart Florist and immediately felt the warmth coming from Sharon's voice. She listened with attentiveness and I told her I trusted her to do what she thought would be a nice arrangement. She mentioned she would also be sending me the receipt via text/email and will send a photo of the arrangement. But wait it didn't stop there, at the time of delivery she asked our friend if she would take a photo of her and the beautiful arrangement to send back to me. She declined because she touched her hair and said she didn't look her best at this difficult time with her loss. I totally understood but what a nice added gesture that this florist did and we've never experienced such personal service like we did with this wonderful florist. Let me tell you this whole experience put a big comforting smile on our faces and we highly recommend giving them your business as they deserve it. My experience with Country Heart Flowers was top notch! I live on the mainland but was bringing my father's cremains back to Punchbowl for inurnment. I had to do everything over the phone and Sharon was amazing! I ordered a standup heart wreath for the service and asked that it be filled with tropical flowers, exceeded my expectations. She was very generous with the flowers, including proteas. The price was more than reasonable considering the weaving process to make such a large heart and I really appreciate that. The arrangement captured the essence of my father who embraced the island culture. Since the inurnment was at Punchbowl, we were not allowed to leave the standing wreath. So, we brought garden clippers with us and cut the wreath from the stand, allowing us to rest it against the niche. Beautiful at the Chapel and at Punchbowl. Thank you for the tropical tribute to my Dad. Following the services, many were asking where the arrangement came from because they never saw one like it. I lost my sister-in-law a month ago and wanted to send a wreath to her memorial service. I have used Sharen Ah Nee and Country Heart Flowers before and knew she did wonderful work, so I called her from California. I was so sad and a little overwhelmed so I told her that I wanted white flowers but that I trusted her to do her best and make the decisions about the flowers and the style. When I saw the wreath at the memorial service, I was so grateful. Both my sister and I loved the wreath that Sharon sent. It perfectly summed up our love and loss for our sister-in-law.
