I did not receive any such notice. And when I saw a picture of the arrangement that my friend's relative sent to me, I noticed that the arrangement was so small with only six flowers, 3 white and 3 with other colors. I didn't fully realize that I was working with a florist without a store front - or even a website - but the yelp reviews provided the confidence I was seeking. While I was accustomed to browsing pictures of floral arrangements before ordering, I trusted Sharon to create something special for me to bring to dinner. In turn, Sharon trusted me to show up and pay for the arrangement - she just had my first name and didn't ask for a deposit or credit card. Note: Only cash is accepted. Sharon sent a text within an hour our two, with a picture, saying that the flowers were ready for pickup. She met me at the end of her home's driveway, and was very warm and gracious. A supplier was waiting just behind my vehicle to deliver more flowers...I could tell that Sharon was busy for good reason. The arrangement was stunning, complete with a braided palm (apparently a signature of Sharon's creations). The hosts loved it and were so impressed (as was I). Not only was this an experience that seems unique to the islands versus the mainland, but I have found a local florist that I will turn to with any future floral needs - all within a 5 minute drive from my home!

Up until now, they've always done a great job, but this recent experience for Mother's Day was extremely disappointing. First, the delivery driver brought the wrong bouquet. I paid $209.41 (including delivery), but my mom received a bouquet that was clearly not what I ordered later confirmed to be a lower priced arrangement. I had to call customer service, who then contacted the driver immediately. While I appreciate that they responded quickly, it still took about 47 minutes for the driver to return, take back the incorrect bouquet, and retrieve the correct one from the truck. When the correct arrangement finally arrived, the presentation was still off. The vase was too short for the flowers, making the bouquet look unbalanced and like it was falling out. For over $200, I expected much better attention to detail and quality. On top of that, the company advertised "free delivery," but that only applied to very limited areas on the island. I still had to pay a delivery fee despite the initial mistake being entirely on their end, which felt misleading. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion like Mother's Day. I've had good experiences before, but this one really missed the mark.

I unfortunately cannot recommend working with Pamakane aka @ocean_dreamerr for your wedding florals. Despite having a prior positive experience with her during our babymoon and being a longtime admirer of her work this second experience has been incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. After radio silence when trying to get a confirmation and a quote for our 5/20 wedding, I was ghosted--no replies, while she was still actively posting on Instagram. I finally received a one-line cancellation after having to message her multiple timeses just 10 days before I needed the flowers, leaving me scrambling to make other arrangements last minute in the middle of graduation season. Planning a wedding is already stressful enough, and it's heartbreaking when someone you once admired lets you down like this. What makes it even more disappointing is that I didn't see her two-star Yelp reviews until after the fact--which is such a shame, because her work is truly gorgeous. I'm sharing this to hopefully help another bride avoid the same situation. Please protect your timeline, your energy, and your peace.

The photos were meant to be printed for her first birthday and be a part of her baby book. Due to bad weather and flooding, we had to cancel and she promised to reimburse us. Despite numerous texts and attempts to contact her, she never returned our money. Instead, she flaunted her lavish lifestyle and fancy events, including her older daughter's birthday, which I suspect she funded with our money, all over her social media. As a first-time mother, these photos meant so much to me. I'm just a single mother on disability and she took advantage of us for her own selfish benefit. $575 dollars! That money could have been used for my daughter's 1st birthday. The times are very hard these days and I still have yet to receive any response or reimbursement from her as promised. If you use your God-given talent for wickedness, what is your faith and your story even worth, Pamakane? It seems like this is all for greed and Instagram "likes". What a life to be living...
