Most recently, the transition was glued down, but literally did not stick. I can pick it up. It also is not quite long enough & there is a gap between the wall and wood. He does an excellent job of hanging pictures, which I greatly appreciated as a side courtesy. but his level of responsiveness dropped from a 10 to a 0 at this point. Nothing is urgent on my end, but a simple acknowledgement of my text of concerns & pics of the issue would be appreciated. I feel disrespected to be completely ignored after investing a good sum of money in my wood floors with a guarantee of satisfaction. I am not seeking to bash this company; to the contrary, I simply would appreciate acknowledging the problem with a plan to follow up.

I had a great experience with Salgau Roofing!…read more I received three estimates on my roof, and Salgau was the middle estimate. The largest estimate was $4,000 more than Salgau. And when they came out the man was very condescending and spoke down to me and my adult daughter, who was visiting from Texas (she's an RN). He admonished me and told me my roof should have been replaced 5 years ago. ---I already knew my roof was bad......THAT'S WHY HE WAS THERE! When he left, my daughter and I felt like scolded children, so I decided I did not want to give them my money. The lower estimate was $1,500 lower. I received the estimate 3 days later than they said I would. (Three days isn't unreasonable, but a quick message saying it would take longer would have been appreciated). The estimate wasn't an itemized proposal, but one paragraph with a price. When I asked questions it took awhile for them to respond, and I felt like they were hard to get a hold of. I looked up their address which was a bit deceiving, because their Suite # is actually a PO box number, and I felt if I needed to get a hold of them after the job was done that it may be difficult. I asked about a warranty and he said there was a one year warranty on labor. (Salgau has a 10 year warranty on labor, and a limited lifetime warranty from Owens Corning on the shingles) When Corey (from Salgau) came out he was kind and professional. He sent an itemized estimate that same day. Salgau's estimate was the only one that included pictures of my roof. I went back and forth asking questions and Corey always replied promptly. I apologized for asking some dumb questions, and he made sure to tell me none of my questions were dumb and to 'ask away' making sure I understood everything and was comfortable with the whole process. I had a full tear down and replacement, and I can't believe it was done in one day (very hard workers)! -Except the copper flashing on my chimney, which was done the next morning. That same day I received the receipt, the labor warranty, and the info for the Owens Corning warranty---which Corey also helped me with. When they were done they cleaned up. My yard, driveway, and walkway looked better than it did before they started! My neighbors have complimented my new roof. And, for the first time ever, I looked forward to the rain that was forecasted yesterday....my leaky roof no longer leaks! :) I am so happy with my new roof, and very comfortable with my decision to choose Salgau. I highly recommend Salgau Roofing. And thank you especially to Corey. He was part of the whole process from start to finish. I've attached pictures....I'm sure I don't need to tell you which are the before and afters.

Rarely do my DIY projects go as smoothly as this. First I spoke to Jake King in sales who walked me…read morethrough the whole process from first order, to shipping, to assembly. He made me feel at ease answering a bunch of questions and concerns. The shipping process was first class. The company they used provided tracking and had an 800 number to call for updates. That was super helpful considering I ordered my cabinets during the worst winter snow and ice storm of 2026. Never the less they still arrived on time. Then came assembly. I was a bit nervous with the first base cabinet but I remember Jake telling me to watch the online assembly videos. They were great. The first cabinet took us about an hour to assemble but after that we were old pro's. My wife and I had a mini assembly line going. We were able to assemble the rest at around 20 minutes a piece. Let me assure you these cabinets and hardware are top notch. They are super well engineered. Everything was cut exactly to length and went together perfectly. I would offer one tip for future buyers. Get yourself a small paint brush to spread the glue evenly. We used way too much on the first one but after that it was perfect. Do not be intimidated with the assembly process. They take all the guesswork out of it for you. Next time we need cabinets I know where I'm going.
