The installed my home sprinklers system in 06-22-1990 It's been working since 2025 When DTE dug up 1/2 of my driveway looking for a gas line and found nothing. A treasure hunt but no gold to be found. So they tore up the left side of the driveway and bingo the found the line. They also replacement an electrical tubing W/ wires to get the street lamp to work. But still no lights. So they dug another hole on the right side of my driveway. And bingo they finally hit gold. So What they did to fix the three sprinklers lines. All failed due to poor workmanship. With the help from Aqua Mist I have the parts to do the job the right way. No bubbling water coming up from the ground because of the lack of skills. I will do the job the right way and they won't leak. I have had my fireplace for over 10 years. It still works great, I get the glass cleaned once a year and they check it. I have never had one problem with it, and it's one of the best things I put in my house. This house had one of those old-fashioned woodburners which was dangerous and always smelled like ash from creosote falling behind it. I hated it so replaced it with this and I love it. read more

Terrible! I paid up front $2500 in Beg. Of July for a big ventless fire place and was told it would be in, in about 10-14 days. 14 days go by, then 20, then a month and I hear nothing. I call them a few times, missed business hours but I left multiple messages. Finally at the end of August I was able to call and actually speak to someone(Mike). He was surprised at how long it's been and would contact the manufacturer to see what's going on. Later than day we touch base and he says they made some mistakes, but it would be in store within 14days and would call me to let me know. So this is roughly Aug22, we schedule to have the FP installed on Sept 17. Weeks go by and I hear nothing, until today I called them to confirm tomorrow since I've been in the dark. He explains something is still incorrect but he can install their "floor" fireplace. Which was smaller than the one I ordered. Over all, decided this place is not for me and we're going to refund this whole order. I stop in the store, and because I don't use Visa anymore, only AX, that's too bad. The older gentleman was beyond rude about it, saying it's too bad and nothing they can do about the $2500 I PREPAID IN JULY. So now I have to wait until the morning to speak w their accountant. If they would have communicated better with me and the manufacturer, things would be different. Instead they'll take your money and leave you wondering when they're ever coming to change out the fireplace. I would suggest going elsewhere, besides their prices are higher than most. read more

RUN FAR AWAY!!! I had my fireplace cleaned and after they left I noticed a orange reddish hue on my fireplace glass. I called them immediately and left a message with no call back so the next day I called again, this time I talked to someone. The owner admitted he talked to the reps for their glass cleaner and heat n glo, the glass cleaner rep said it wasn't their cleaner but the heat n glo rep said that it had to be the glass cleaner that caused this. The owner also said this does happen but it's rare and I was unlucky to have it happen to me. We went back and forth for an entire week until yesterday. Yesterday I called and wanted more of an answer because all the owner was saying is that he would talk to his reps. So the owner and I talked with zero outcome and when I suggested that he did a two way call with the rep so I could ask some questions as well he got extremely upset and told me "I don't like what you just said, we will do things my way" then hung up on me. I then called back and he hung up on me again. The boss came out to take a look only to try and tell me more BS. The owner already admitted it was the cleaner that caused my glass to change color but the boss insisted that this is normal for ceramic glass....no it is not normal. So now I am stuck with a horrible looking glass that was clear and perfect before they came to do a fireplace cleaning. read more

Two gentlemen arrived at 10AM on schedule. Very polite and answered all my questions promptly. He did mention my blower motor maybe bad and to call if I had any concerns. I called at 4PM because my motor was very loud. The manager told me they aren't going to come back out and hung up on me. Really sucks when employees are nice and management team are a bunch of assholes.... there will always be another company I can call. read more

Apparently the Sprinkler Installation Business must be booming in the Metro Detroit area - I called to inquire about a new installation at our new house, and the customer service people made it very evident that they did not need any of my business!! After being greeted rudely, I explained that I was getting ready for Sod, but wanted to put the sprinkler system in first ... I was not so politely told that it would be over a month to get it done. I simply said I was looking for something sooner than that - to which the response was: "Sorry," and then a hang up. At no point did they ask how big the system was, the address, or even if I was looking for anything in particular. My advice is to STAY AWAY unless you want to be talked to and treated like a second class citizen - and to think I was calling to spend MY money on THEM!!! read more

They are the worse. I ordered a gas log in December. I had to call a few times to find out the status of it. They installed it and the remote button to turn of the log does not work. They acted like I was too incompetent to know how to work a remote. Then proceeded to tell me how busy they are to fix it. We paid over $2,000 for this and it does not work... but they are too busy to fix it. Go figure read more

HORRIBLE..HORRIBLE....HORRIBLE.... First of all they charged me 48 bucks for ten minutes of there time. Then quoted me a crazy amount to have my valves repaired. I know this now cause I had 3 different quotes from other places and they all were 4 to 500 dollars cheaper. When I called back to see if maybe I misunderstood them and maybe there were more repairs needed than what I thought.. The so called Manager was REALLY RUDE. She talked to me like inmates talk to me at my work. I called her out on it and told her about the other quotes, she said "Oh well, go somewhere else then, thats my price". RUDE..RUDE...RUDE.. Do not use Aqua Mist.... F.Y.I. the 3 other places I called and had come out. Initailly there was a fee to come out but they ALL cancelled the FEE once they realized they were only there for 10 minutes....... DO NOT USE AQUA MIST..... Respect Customers......... read more

They installed a damper for me three years ago, chord has broken twice. Now they won't even come out to repair let alone a return call.

Tech came out to fix my Gas Fireplace insert. He charged me $125 to come out and $195 total to install a fabricated $10 part. The reciept states a 30 day warranty. When I called to report the unit still not working they refused to come back out or to refund any of the bill. read more
