He was put in more of a dungeon style kennel where he couldn't see other dogs. He was scared to death as the man pushed him in. There were dogs barking the entire time and our baby wasn't the same when we brought him home. We had to find a place for him to go as we needed to be out of town several weekends. My daughters dance teacher recommended Applewood Kennels. She said they were awesome. We were very happy to hear that. This is an hour and a half drive for us but we took him and we were so happy!!!! No more tears. They showed us and Asher around before we left. We felt so hood about him staying there. These people are so nice and they love him. Hours after we left we found pictures on Instagram of him playing ball and he was smiling!!! That warmed my heart. They take such good care of him and they have super clean kennels the dogs are all friends and most important He is so happy. So we decided to contact a local kennel off a recommendation from a vet in town to get our fur baby someplace to stay that had AC while we were gone. The people at Applewood could not have been nicer and we knew driving away that our pup was in great hands. They were also very flexible about our pick up time. I would highly recommend them to not only travelers in town for vacation but also to the locals needing a place for their pups.

Very clean facility and the staff is masked and only allowed one person into the office at a time. Our dogs were enjoying a run in the dog run as we were leaving before their bath.
