My little guy was living in the woods with another dog. He was malnourished and needed a lot of TLC. For a small shelter in a rural area I was surprised at the rare breeds they often got there. When I've checked their website and facebook page I've seen Irish Wolfhounds and French Bulldogs. Those are expensive dogs! You also can't beat the price. If I remember correctly, you paid $30 then when you sent in proof that your dog was fixed, you for $25 back in the mail. Can't beat that! I love when people get their pets from shelters and it beats buying your dog from a breeder 100% of the time! Don't forget to drop off your old blankets and towels and bring in your extra dog and cat food. They can always use it!!!

THEY are the reason that the humane societies are over crowded. We own a 1600 sqft house, with a completely fenced in yard, and own 21 acers of wooded land with trails thought for walking. yet we are bad pet parents because a 1 year slip of vax. At first they were willing to help me find my dog that's out there in the cold and now, the person I spoke to today won't even give me a general area of where she's at. If that's not bad service, I don't know what is. She's still missing, cold and hungry, and will likely die because nobody is out trying to catch her. Or maybe you should have more people on patrol or longer business hours than 4 days a week.
