True to their reputation, the Air Force's accommodations do not disappoint!…read more Great spacious and clean room. Lots of drawers and full-sized hangers! Do you know how baller it is to have full sized hangers?! You don't even see that in some Hiltons! The staff was very nice and came by the room daily (though I don't use it daily). Parking can get a bit of a challenge, but that was my own fault for staying out late (there really isn't much to do on the base). The AC, while it keeps things cool, can get a bit loud so if you're a light sleeper maybe consider some ear plugs.

Nice looking building but customer service is lacking…read more The air conditioning went offline in the afternoon and by 6 pm, the temp in my room was 84.5 degrees. Calls to the front desk were met with, "Only a few people have complained." Lovely response. After they received more complaints, they finally called HVAC repair. After several hours, still no AC. I went to the front desk and they said the AC people were working on the problem. They said they'd call me once they had it repaired. I'm still waiting for that call a day later. A few hours later, the electricity went out and ceiling fan stopped working -- then the room got like a sauna. Oh, you can't open any windows because they didn't install any windows that open! By morning it was 62 outside and 81 in my room. The queen size bed had a "fitted" sheet that didn't fit the bed. The sheet came loose within a few minutes of laying in bed. When I checked out, not a word from the front desk staff about the AC problem-- and no credit for sweating in my bed, with no sleep, through the night Avoid this Air Force Inn until customer service improves.

The room was in great condition as I didn't see any wear in our pet friendly room. There was a $25 pet fee (we always look at the hotel's website in advance of placing a reservation for this info). This was completely acceptable as we always travel with our dog. *** After returning home and checking our Visa statement I noticed a double charge for the $25 pet fee so I called the hotel. On their receipt it only showed the fee charged once. I was advised to give the billing a few more days to finalize and maybe then the double charge error will correct itself *** To be continued... Breakfast had many of the usual tasty options that will fuel your day ( scrambled eggs, 2 kinds of potatoes, sausage, breads, a danish for your sweet tooth, 2 waffle irons and 2 batter s (hadn't see a banana nut batter offered at hotels before - tasty), as well as coffee in the attached lobby and apple or orange juices, etc. Only thing that missed the mark was the watery juices that we have found at too many hotels. Also found at most all hotels is the random hair found somewhere in the bathroom (here it was in the sink) which I mentally attribute to the cleaning staff shedding as they scrub. Due to the light fixtures used on each side of the king size bed there was not the usual outlets to charge electronics. Easily pulled out the bed stands to reach outlets. One side's outlets did not hold the plugs in well. A slight tug on the cord likely would unplug the cord.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. We stayed here twice, once driving from Los Angeles to…read moreMinneapolis and the other on the return trip. Noah, Nicky and the new girl ( I didn't get her name :( were great! Maria put out a fantastic breakfast buffet both times that my husband really enjoyed. We left our dog food behind in a Tupperware container on the way to Minneapolis. I chalked it up as a loss. But when we arrived a week later on the return trip, I thought I would ask if anyone saw it. They said "That was you?" Went to the back and brought out the Tupperware with the food in it! I was so surprised and happy that they didn't just toss it out. Highly recommend this Hotel, There's a Sonic as well as a Ziggy's coffee both in the same parking lot area. Really set up for traveling!
