He recommended we get two arrangements of the same style and color to put at either end of the casket for balance and he recommended a red, white and blue color theme in honor of the deceased's military service. We are unable to hold burial services until the Spring as their cemetery plot is behind a locked gate until the ground thaws. Therefore we did not purchase a floral 'casket blanket' or place the arrangements in cemetery baskets. Rather, we chose to have the arrangements in vases for family members to take home with them. Piccirillo was familiar with this need (not uncommon in this area) and let us know what choices we had available. The customer service was friendly and helpful. When other family members called to place their orders he knew exactly what they needed to coordinate the flowers. Payment was done easily over the phone and I received a text receipt for my payment right away. Flowers were delivered to the funeral home the morning of services. Everything went smoothly and the flowers are beautiful.

This is the 2nd I've used Blackman Florist for Mother's Day. 1st time they gave my order to…read moreanother customer, but were apologetic about that mistake and came up with an alternative which while it was frustrating, they at least provided an alternative. Was willing to give them or Tom the owner a 2nd chance this Mother's Day and the attached video is the best way to describe his level of service. For context, I placed 2 orders on May 1st with Tom for a delivery on May 8th. At that time, Tom said he would personally delivery my order on Friday, May 8th. May 8th came and went with no delivery and no calls from Tom to update me on things. I called 2 times on May 8th and got Tom on the phone, he apologized for the delay and assured me he would deliver everything before end of day. Nothing was delivered so called Tom on Saturday, May 9th and I was informed my delivery went to the wrong address. Tom was not too happy that I had the nerve to hold him accountable to his commitment of delivering the order. When he asked what I would like him to do, I said just make this situation right. His response was "I will FUCK YOU UP WHEN I COME OVER, which my wife and son both heard him say. I actually found it funny that his mistake got him so rattled. When he delivery my order, he came with the same temper and had another melt down which thankfully my Ring Camera was able to record. While Tom clearly is a jackass, this video is actually pretty funny. That said, STAY AWAY from Backman Florist and if you see Tom he easier gets rattled and his business is reflection of that.
