These might be my new favorites (Fannie May creams used to be my favorite chocolate but they have a weird taste now). I got chocolate covered pretzel rod pieces, and a couple of on sale Christmas chocolates: bear claw and chocolate covered oreo's. I didn't know what a bear claw was (or if I'm calling it the right thing), but they said it was like a bigger turtle. It was delicous. The chocolate pretzles and oreo's were great too.

So here we were on a beautiful Sunday and came across Rita's and even though we just had a filling lunch, we stopped in. And crazily enough, we got a parking spot right out front. Though the road is very busy and I don't suggest parking on it with kids in the car. Just drive around the corner and park. I had no idea about other parking because we were in an area that we were unfamiliar with. My wife got the black raspberry flavor and I got chocolate banana mixed with campfire marshmallow. Wow!!! So freakin' good, and creamy and delicious. Can I explain how good it was? It was so good that I don't need to compare it. It's packed with flavor but not overly so. The chocolate banana was like eating a chocolate covered banana. The campfire marshmallow tasted like I was at that bonfire. I was in heaven. I'm still in heaven. Why? Because I'm typing this up months later and my mouth is watering as I reminisce about it. Now I want Rita's and there isn't a close location. Dammit. I'll have to go tomorrow and get some. That's how good it was!

It was actually a ton of fun pulling veggies straight out of the ground and hunting for the best berries. Felt super satisfying and kinda meditative. Definitely a good way to spend a few hours outdoors. Pro tip: there's no shade at all in the fields, so wear long pants, long sleeves, a hat, and sunglasses unless you want to roast.
