This was my second place to stop for a beer in Erie. And while cider may be more there thing (there seems to be a connection to The Handlebar Factory & Taproom - https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-handlebar-factory-and-taproom-erie ) but I never quite figured out what. So while I did stop in for a beer, I did also try a cider, and like it. I was intrigued by the "cocktails" of a beer and cider mix, but not intrigued enough to try it. Service was very friendly. I got the Ole Cubano sandwich for lunch with Voodoo chips - when it came out, I was a little disappointed because it looked like it was just some deli meat ham on the sandwich. Even though it was, the smoked pulled pork underneath it was delicious and it was overall a really tasty sandwich. I liked the bun it was on as well; I think the price of $13 for the size of the sandwich was a little steep. For a drink, I got the crisp pear hard cider. It was pretty tasty, not overly sweet. This review is for the food only. I got a beer and my husband got the cider flight which were fine. The food however was pretty terrible. The nachos were served over burnt parchment paper but was ice cold when we ate it. The salsa was definitely something along the lines of jarred tostitos, the queso probably too. It was just really really low quality, cold, and $20. The pizza was just as bad. Got a pepperoni pizza for also $20 and it was cafeteria quality food. Dough was way too thick and flavor was not great. Also got 1.5 pepperonis per slice. I don't mind paying $20 for food at all, but the quality here is just not there. I'd come to get a couple drinks but I would never order food here again. read more

The staff was very knowledgeable and happy to take the time to advise us on drink choices as well as doling out samples. I had the artisanal pizza, which had a perfectly baked thin crust and a very generous helping of cheese. My wife, who is celiac, had the chicken wings (grilled, not fried). They have guest brews and I spotted a Pumpkin Porter which was delicious. We shared a #1 Mine Pizza and Optimus Prime Brisket.
