This is what I call a cheeseburger, nothing better than a good drive thru burger with excellent service. I ordered, my mother picked up and we got to eat at home tonight. The ambiance is amazing. Muy delicioso!!

What a great local place! You come in, stand in line, and place your order. The hickory burger is the top seller, but I went straight down the middle: bacon cheeseburger. The burger came out surprisingly fast, but it was hot and delicious, and cooked well. At the end of the line, the fries were fresh from the grease, and all you can eat! Pro Tip: Grab a small handful while they are hot, and then come back when the next person orders, to get MORE Hot and Fresh! They also have 2 big pots of beans, all you can eat! The beans are one batch, two pots, so you don't have to worry about which is which. We also had a killer chicken fried steak! It's one of the best chicken fried steak in town, and they also have a CFS sandwich (for you ol' school kids). Do not miss the homemade ice cream by the door either! 5 Stars for Shop Local, and nailing it!

Hickory burger (no onions) and fries. Ordered from drive thru.

Painfully mediocre burger absolutely smothered in bbq sauce (to the point it was impossible to pick it up cleanly). The burger itself was really dry and whatever flavor it has gets completely overpowered by the sauce. The fries were fine- nothing to write home about though. I went through the drive through to get the meal. The service was actually kind and fast! It's just unfortunate that it's for mid food. Because of this though, I don't have any notes on ambiance. I'd say *maybe* I could give their other food a chance, but the other stuff on the drive thru menu didn't really look any more appetizing. I won't be back though. Just get a western burger from 90% of other burger shops.

They are in a new location! Really nice custom wood seating, Same good food. Large servings. My photos don't do them justice. We brought it home. Great burgers and chili cheese fries! Friendly employees.

We walked in and were warmly greeted by the owners and her family. The vibes were different. It's a Country Texas theme. The Lady that took our order suggested we try her beans. She said they were really good and she 100% told the truth. The beans had some flavor like someone Grandmother cooked it. It's all you can eat beans and fries and a lot of condiments to choose from. The fountain drinks were good and strong. The burger's were juicy and full of flavor. I haven't had a burger that good in a long time. We will definitely be back. I didn't get a good picture of my food.

the food is always great when we go here. i usually get the chicken fried chicken sandwich and my boyfriend gets a burger. we will usually get the fries which are unlimited and always fresh since they constantly making new batches. we also ask for a side of shredded cheese and you can tell it's freshly grated instead of pre grated. it tastes awesome on the fries! you can definitely see that the employees care about the service they give even when we accidentally came the last hour i definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a local spot to get great food and ever better service

The beans are delicious and the absolute star of this establishment. But, is that what a burger place should be known for? The fries were cold and flavorless. The burger patty was overcooked to the point of burnt. I'll pass on a return trip.

My favorites are the Rooster Tails (fried onions) and the chips and queso, but the real stars of the menu are the burgers. They're always fresh, hot, and juicy. The free peanuts are a nice touch, and they offer daily specials as well. I really miss the Bloody Mary bar, which was always a lot of fun, but their Sunday special makes up for it with a generous double for just $7. There's always a game on TV, which is a welcome break when you've had enough politics to last a lifetime. The servers and bartenders are consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. And whatever you do, don't forget to ask about the Yahtzee Roll at the bar. If you know, you know!

There's a full bar on both floors as well. The staff was pretty attentive, but the wait for food took a long time. I was happy the cocktails came pretty quickly and were well-made. The food was all pretty good for the most part not wowed but good! I have no complaints about my plate; it came with a great portion of food and was reasonably priced for BBQ. I ordered pulled pork and a side of corn and tomato salad and coleslaw. The sides were different from what I've had before, but I did enjoy them. Their coleslaw is more vinegar than mayo-forward. The pulled pork was well-seasoned, and the side of BBQ was the perfect match. My margarita tasted as if they made the mix in-house, and I prefer this. Store-bought mixers are usually either too sweet or too sour. However, if it is store-bought, I'm impressed! This was not a sweet margarita. My partner went for the Tennessee Texas Hot Sandwich; I did try it. There was hardly any heat despite it being their spicy chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if they make their chips in house but it seemed so.

Something about this place just gave the vibe that they had good food. Maybe the slightly overgrown parking lot, the fact that there was nobody there, and the building was older. Anyway, I walk in and this random customer asked if I had been there before. I said no, and he said something along the lines of, "You've just stumbled upon a legendary burger joint". Some of the decor was a bit schizophrenic, but in a cool way. There was a car shell mounted to the ceiling, old movie posters everywhere, and a bunch of random decorations on shelves. I just ordered the namesake time machine burger and it was incredible. So good, I ordered a second one. Everyone working was very friendly too and the owner seemed like a really great guy. It's the slightly rundown greasy hole-in-the-wall places like this that always have the best food. I could never recommend it enough. They also have a burger with peanut butter on it which I've been told is really good, so I'll have to try that next time.

For lunch, I ordered the #9 Love Affair burger combo with sweet potato fries and added a side of onion rings. The sweet potato fries came in a good portion, which I appreciated. The onion rings, though, were $3.99 for only 6 rings, and that did not feel like a good value. The burger patty itself was the perfect thickness and cooked well, but it had almost no flavor on its own. The only real flavor came from the add-ons I chose, which were egg and pineapple jam. Because of that, the overall flavor just did not match the $22 price tag for lunch. Cool local vibe, decent presentation, but for the price, I expected a lot more flavor.

I'm a pretty picky eater, so the unique ingredient combinations on some of their burgers initially made me a little nervous. My advice? Trust the chef. Unless you have an allergy or a genuine reason to leave something off, order the burger exactly as it's intended. The flavor combinations might sound unusual, but somehow they just work. Every bite is packed with flavor, and the creativity is a huge part of what makes Rodeo Goat so good. One of my favorite things about Rodeo Goat is the Battle Burgers. Every month, two wildly creative burgers go head-to-head, and whichever one sells the most earns the right to stick around and compete again against a new challenger. It's basically burger fight club--and thankfully, nobody talks about burger fight club. I've tried almost everything on the menu, but 99.9% of the time, I find myself ordering one of the Battle Burgers. It keeps things fresh, interesting, and gives me an excuse to try something I probably wouldn't normally order. If you're in the area and looking for an incredible burger, Rodeo Goat should absolutely be your next stop. Come hungry, trust the chef, and prepare to have your definition of a burger expanded.

Great Burgers, But Weak Beer…read more We went to Rodeo Goat in Denton, TX, to celebrate my son's 21st birthday, and the burgers were definitely the highlight of the meal. They were fresh, cooked well, and had an amazing flavor. Everyone enjoyed their food, and it made for a great birthday meal. Unfortunately, the beer was a completely different story. It was easily the weakest beer I've ever had at a restaurant. It honestly tasted like it had been mixed with water, with very little flavor or strength. Overall, I'd definitely go back for the burgers because they were that good, but I'd skip the beer next time. If you're going there for the food, I think you'll be happy; just don't expect much from the beer.
