I just notified this company they are fired as of the end of the month. On average, they missed the Thursday pick-up day one out of four times for the last half year, and twice in the last two months, I have had to call them a couple of times to get them to do my pick-up days later (Should be Thursday, they came Monday only after my calls). It wasn't just me - my entire street, and for all I know, the entire neighborhood they missed. One of the times I had to call them and they came out on Monday, they still left my next door neighbor's cans untouched, even though I told them on the phone it was not just mine to be picked up. Total incompetence. There are too many companies out there that are reliable and cost approximately the same (if not lower) to use these guys. And don't get sucked in by intro offers. They started me at $10/month back in early 2014, went to $15 in July 2014, then went to $18 in March 2015, an 80% increase in about a year. Save your self the headache. read more

this is the worst company i have ever done business with besides comcast!!! the billing system sucks and they don't disclosed when signing up that you are being charged for 30 days although you start service in the middle of the billing cycle. since they are the only waste pickup company in my area of chesterfield, they assume they continue to get away with this unlawful billing practice!!! they refuse to admit that they took my $40 prepayment in august and applied to an august & september bill when i just began service in september. i then paid for them to pick up a headboard in october and paid for it then. they in turn applied that payment to the october bill leaving a 5.50 cr and now i am getting a bill in november for the $25 plus the monthly charges. these idiots really think people are stupid; wrong customer to try this on!!!! read more

I was previously with Duck Waste and loved the company for the 3 months I was with them as they were purchased by County Waste. I was paying 12.95 per month based on a promotional Duck offered me. 6 months later County Waste sent my wife and I advising the rate would go up to $17.00 as they could not continue to operate and the price we were paying which was the $12.95 per month. I called them and advised I had a 2 year agreement with Duck and they needed to honor the agreement i had. The attitude I received from them was awful and they further advised the rate had gone up and we needed to pay the $17.00. I also tried to get the manager's name to discuss the problem with him/her. I was told they could not and would not provide that info as she did not know who the manager was. With such a poor customer service I immediatedly told them to close out my account effective 3/31/15 and come get their trash can. I had to call them 3 times during the following week and finally told them I would start charging a rental fee if the trash can stayed on my property one more day. They picked up their trash can the next day. I would not do business with this company again if they were the last waste company in the country read more

I cancelled my trash service May 8th. County Waste instructed me to leave the two-95 gallon trashcans they provided with their service outside my house and they would pick them up. It is now June 1st. The trashcans are still sitting outside my house. I have contacted them five times about this. Each time they say "it's on the list." They do not care that I have called repeatedly and that having two trashcans sitting outside my house is causing the neighbors to complain and it causes confusion with my new trash service. Twice they committed to a day to pick them up and did not do it. They get increasingly rude every time I call. I cancelled in the first place because they won't take a bag of lawn (they are to pick up one according to their policy) because they said it was too heavy. They won't pick up anything at all unless it is in their trashcan. I pay extra for two because of this. Inept. Rude. Lazy. I too wish there were a no stars option.
