At check-in, we were told the last wine tour started at 5:00 p.m., and it was already 4:45. I asked if we could go the next day (Monday), and the front desk agent assured us we could, saying they were open daily from 12-6. After settling into our room, we headed to Louis' House of Bourbon. The food was decent, but the drinks were excellent. The atmosphere alone made it worth the visit. The next day, however, we found out that the wine tours and tastings were actually closed on Mondays, which was disappointing given the information we were told at check-in. Still, we didn't let that ruin our trip. We went out to a nearby steakhouse for dinner and returned to the resort for drinks at what had quickly become our favorite spot, Louis'. I have to give a special shoutout to the staff, Manny, Anya, and Cole were amazing. They were attentive, friendly, and really elevated our experience. No direction when you walk in. No hosts. You have to check in. They give you a sheet with the options of wines. Then you go to another counter and choose one wine at a time reusing the same glass throughout. Unless you change from white to red and vise verse. (I personally didn't like that) All with no direction or signage and staff just looking at you being confused. It is also self seating. The ladies at the check in desk weren't very friendly, as well as at the pouring station. I get they probably get rude clientele but we weren't them =(( We ordered some charcuterie and hummus to have with our wine and we actually did not get the hummus till over an hour later. We had to tell our coordinator. I'm sure they made it and forgot because the pita was rock hard and vegetables dehydrated. Why they didn't make a new tray I don't understand. Also considering the type of establishment, why does the charcuterie come on a baking tray with baked on grease? Wine selection though, great!

The tastings are held inside but you have an opportunity to walk outside and explore. Stacy, our driver was amazing. He arrived a few minutes before the schedule pick-up time. At each destination he was attentive and periodically checked on everyone in my party. He was available if we needed anything and communicated the times to ensure we were on schedule. He also was an awesome camera man. The Cana team was very professional and responsive to all questions and inquiries. Overall it was an unforgettable experience and I enjoyed celebrating my birthday with them.
