Fox winery is a private winery. Unfortunately you can only get their wines here and one local shop. If you like sweet wines you'll love the blueberry and they have a new blueberry Pineapple, those are my favorites. They also have a Raspberry that swet and tart but its seasonal. The Captains choice and Antebellum Rose are semi sweet. They have a Melot and Cabernet as well. They have a free wine tasting. You also get a 5% off when you buy 5 and more and 10% when you buy 12 and more. They also sell jams, homemade soaps, souvenirs, beef jerkies and wine accessories. read more

This has got to be I-20 and Social Circle's best kept secret. It is quietly tucked away just about 1 mile off of I-20 in Social Circle. You will see dozens of grape/muscadine vines and this quaint little shop. Inside, there will be dozens of amazing, locally-made wines and a very pleasant elderly gentleman by the name of Richard who will tell you all the history of the place and treat you to an unexpected wine tasting and explanation of the wines they carry. This is a nostalgic and most pleasant experience. We enjoy sampling of the various wines they serve and learning about the history of the place. We purchased a bottle of the original Blueberry Bonny and a the Sweet Melanie, which is the sweetest wine they carry, which was my wife's favorite. I highly recommend them for a quiet local winery experience just down I-20 from Metro ATL. Support this local establishing which is immensely homegrown and remarkably charming. read more

Early afternoon on a Saturday lovely weather took a ride. Older gentleman behind the counter (nice) can't remember his name. Just he and I on site talked about the vineyard and 5 different red wines to taste (not the best) but it was nice chatting and sipping. For his time, I purchased one bottle of wine (Captain's Choice) red blend for the road $13 and a bottle of Blueberry Balsamic Vinaigrette for $6.99. Yeah, I prayed it was good! It's not bad! The wine cork was rotten and I had to push it down into the bottle. A hot mess! The facility is a little dated, however, I enjoyed the moment, convo, and the history of it all. Understand the original owner RIP passed about 2 yrs. ago was a pilot for Eastern Airlines back in the day and would bring vines back from around the world to start and grow his vineyard. read more

OMG, I've been have a bottle of Strawberry Shortcake wine in my wine cooler for so long that I can't Remember where I got it from! So tonight I popped the cork on it! Let me tell y'all this has me on Google trying get to figure out where to get my next bottle! It has a full body, Not too sweet, but you can definitely taste the berry flavors! Brian is awesome! He took us on a tour of the place and gave us the historical background to where Fox began. It was neat to see the bats and bottling procedure as well as the grape vines and machinery that makes it all happen. Very good wine too - especially the Merlot. read more

This was one of the best vineyards I've been to and currently my favorite in GA. They had a nice selection of wines all of which were great with a free tasting of all we wanted. They also had a few wines that weren't even out yet because they were either waiting on one thing or another, but they still let us try them and sold them to us. We planned on going in and getting one wine (we try to limit ourselves since we tend to go overboard and have way too much wine at the moment), but we ended up leaving with 3 wines all at a great price also. the guy there also took us on a tour of how they do things which was nice explaining how everything is done. I plan on going back here next time I'm in the area. read more

I came here looking for a specific type of wine, and while they didn't have it, the super nice guy working at the counter did his best to accommodate! He had me do a tasting and wow, as someone with a sweet tooth, some of the sweet wines blew me away. I bought a bottle of sweet Chardonnay and a blueberry wine because I'm a sucker for fruit wines. The Chardonnay was a HIT amongst more experienced wine drinkers than me. I'm glad I found this place!!!! read more

We enjoyed our visit very much. Brian behind the counter was very friendly and let us try a wide variety of the wines that are grown and made on site. This winery makes everything from traditional reds and whites to novel new creations from local blueberries and raspberries. So much fun! They also have local honey and other stuff from the area. My wife and I stopped on 9/02/18 for a tasting of their newest wines. The gentleman behind the counter was very courteous and knowledgeable. He said he was from New York but had been in Ga. quite a while and loved it. We ended up buying 12 bottles (case) at a fantastic price. My wife has been buying there for years and loves their wines, as have I, but I had never been in for a tasting. Their store is VERY neat and clean, and they have chips and pretzels to munch on while you taste their wine. There is NO traffic problems what so ever, getting in and out of their parking lot. Thank you Fox Winery for a great time Sat. afternoon. We will be back soon. We highly recommend Fox Winery. read more

This place is worth any drive to get to taste some of their local wine. It's not at all expensive and the staff is very friendly. I absolutely love this pace and have no intention of buying wine in a regular store ever again. The Merlot here is to die for! read more

This is a small winery with a legacy of producing fantastic sweet southern fruit wines. Recently they have been adding some drier wine varieties as well. No matter what your preference is, they care about quality and you can taste that. I love the simple shop they have, the friendly customer service that goes with the southern country setting, and the flavor of most of their wines. As a result, its the only wine that my wife and I buy. This is a small business in the area that we love to support. read more
