Customer be warned... Iron marks on brand new corduroy pants! They don't publish pricing. I'm guessing it's variable based on mood, because when you ask for specifics they get super defensive. I also inquired about which facility they send the clothes away to and they refused to answer and said "I don't have to tell you". They're right, they don't have to tell me but I also don't want to pay to have my dress clothes washed in someone's domestic machine at home. You buy something wonderful online, on sale even. Great feeling, right? The pants arrive, three pair, and you bring them to Court Cleaners for "Expert Alterations," as their sign says. You're a bit concerned because rather than marking with chalk and a cuff tool, as would a tailor, the lady uses a safety pin. Hold your breath, assume this professional knows her business. One week later, as promised, the three pair of pants are ready. You try them on. Not only are the legs uneven by what looks like an inch, but they have trimmed the fabric, so the short leg isn't going to get much longer. Even if their seamstress can fix them, they will look uneven. Three pair of new, never worn pants ruined. The cost of replacing them, much more than you paid - they were on sale. That wonderful feeling of the great buy on wonderful clothes is now the feeling of anguish & despair as you see your investment go-up in smoke. I will be interested to see how they resolve this when I return next Monday to collect my repaired pants. I will have my original receipts for the pants in hand, on the chance they are not able to fix them. Either way, I will update this review accordingly. In the meantime, go to a real seamstress or tailor and not to Court Cleaners. read more

Had a winter coat dry cleaned here. The woman up front was very nice. Turn around time is about three business day. When I got my coat back, it was clean and she had seperated the detachable fur around the hood to clean it separately. Price was good. Will be returning. read more

The woman was very nice however when I looked at my jacket later, unfortunately I had already left town, it was missing a button. Not a big deal, but to cover up their mistake of losing the button they had sewn the button hole shut, as well as sewn the matching button hole on the other shoulder shut, so it could not be undone. If I want to have it fixed I'll have to go to a tailor and have them undo the stitching. Not okay. If you lose a button, that's understandable, just let me know, and ask what, if any, alterations I would like done. Now I have to get my jacket fixed because you tried to cover up your mistake. It's not okay to make unauthorized alterations. Also, two buttons on the back side of my jacket were hanging on for dear life, literally, but a little tiny string, dangling off the back. If you're going to go around sewing things on without permission, at least sew on some buttons that are about to fall off from rough dry cleaning practices. It makes no sense. I can't recommend a dry cleaner that uses sneaky techniques and mis-treats garmets. read more

I only went to this cleaners because of the convenience but huge mistake! I took my uniforms here to get my patches replaced and the American flag was put on upside down!!! What's worse is I didn't notice until someone else pointed in out while I was in uniform OMG so embarrassing! 2 lessons here: Always check your items before paying and never go to this cleaners again! read more

I go here on a regular basis. I've never had any problems. The lady is always really nice and is willing to rush my dry cleaning if I need it even sooner. Sometimes, they get me my suits in a one day turn around. One time I needed a dress hemmed asap and the store was closing. I was able to call them and have them stay open so little later just so I could get my dress fitted. They're always willing to work with me. Love them! read more

I don't work/travel as much in/to DC, but when I used to spend a lot of time there, I would use this place because it was near the Oakwood, and I never had a problem. Many times, I would take out a piece of clothing from the bag and a button would be resewn despite that I would frequently rip them off accidentally, because I am spatially challenged. Plus, the owner, who is very nice, would frequently go out of her way to ensure my alterations were always completed on time. read more

The cleaners lost two items of clothing and did not (offer to) reimburse. The owner did not even offer a discount on my next visit. Today, when I asked for a discount due to the prior incident, the owner ignored the statement. She then proceeded to swipe my card immediately. I then commented: "Wow, you REALLY don't want to give me a discount?" The owner pretended she never heard it the first time, and simply offered some sort of "credit" if I visit again. read more

I've brought a couple of pieces to be tailored here and all of them have come back well tailored. It's a tad bit pricy, but they do excellent work. For example, I recently had the shoulders of a dress taken up here. The dress has a lace appliqué on the shoulders, so I wasn't sure if there was anything they could do for it. But they were able to alter it so the shoulders now fit perfectly and you can't even tell that the dress has been altered. All in less then four days. The only real issue I have with Court Cleaners is that they don't tell you how much an alteration will cost you up front. read more
