We needed the services of Courtesy towing at 9 PM and got them through Geico. They showed up within the quoted time. Vonn was the driver. The first thing he did was to try and resolve our problem but was not able. We would have to have the car towed to our garage. The windows were open and we quite concerned with a car seat secured in our back seat. My son had installed it and I could get it undone. Vonn handled that for us and we secured it in the trunk. Then he loaded our car and my wife and I joined him the cab. I mentioned that we call Uber from the garage. Vonn asked where we lived. After the drop-off, he insisted on driving us to our home. Very disappointed in this company. I was in a severe car accident and the Altamonte Springs Police Department apparently uses this company to tow away vehicles that are not drivable. When I went to their location the next day to retrieve my personal belongings, I noticed the compartment in the console was opened and the cash I had in there was no longer there, including coins I had in the middle console. To top it off, they lost the rear bumper which also had my license plate on it. ASPD should consider using a different company, one that does not allow theft and is more competent. read more

I needed a car that would not start transported to the mechanics shop. Courtesy Towing was recommended by the shop, so I contacted them for an appointment for the next morning. The driver called during the allotted hour period to let me know he was on the way, and approximate ETA. He arrived within that time, checked a few things on the car, and helped us get it out of the driveway and ready for loading. He loaded the car on the flatbed, and made sure it was secured. Lied about pricing when they towed our vehicle from an accident scene. We insisted on taking it to a family shop, driver stated we wouldn't be charged if they just took it back to their yard and we could get a free AAA tow in the morning. Pressured by the driver and LEO we let them take the car. The next morning when we arrived with the aaa truck they charged us $240 to get our vehicle from their lot! If we had it towed the night before where we wanted it would have been $120! Straight up lied to us at the scene of an accident to extort more money and charge us BS fees. Don't call these guys if you need a tow and can't afford getting it back to your place! I was in a 3 car crash where after my car wouldn't start, so one of the officers who showed up gave us these guys card. When they got to the place of the crash they said it would cost $150 for a 4 mile drive! Or we could get them to take it to their lot for free but there "may be other expenses". So since we couldn't afford the tow to our place I told them to take it to their lot. So after we got home and called them I tried asking if I could get an estimate on how much it'd be to take my car back. But since the car is registered under my grandparents name, I LITERALLY COULDN'T EVEN GET THAT ESTIMATE!!! Just for some context, my grandparents gave me this car to move down her to Florida with and they live in Virginia. So since I couldn't do anything on my end I had to call my grandparents and get them to call the tow yard. Once they called they found out it was FIVE HUNDRAD FUCKING DOLLARS just to get it towed back to our place! Keep in mind that our place was closer to the crash and their tow yard was 10 miles away from the crash. Also they had to send a permission form to the tow yard to allow me the privlage of getting my own damn car back! After that whole thing we had to wait 2 days for the permission form to get to the tow yard, which it did, but when we went to pick it up they said the permission form wasn't there yet. So I called my grandfather, who is a postmaster and the person who sent it, to check if it had gotten to it's drop off. He told me it got to their mail box at 11am that day and it was about 3pm when we got there. They told us they don't check the mail until the end of the day, but come the fuck on you couldn't send one person to go check the damn mail! So we had to come back the next day to get the car out. When we got there they mentioned that on whatever form it said "driver has key" thing is though I had to give the key to the tow driver when he was picking up my car and he never gave it back! So we ended up having to worry about getting a new key on top of the fact that apparently in the four days our car was stuck there the price to get it out went upto $700! Because of that we had to call a friend to help cover the extra $200. And the funniest thing happened after we paid them, THEY FOUND THE FUCKING KEY! The only positive thing I can say about this tow company is that once they get paid they actually do their job right. After we paid them the money they got my car to our place in only 30 minutes... So TDLR theses guys are just trying to milk your wallet and put you through un-needed stress if you want your car back from them. read more

I really dislike how all these services toutinely lie. Gave me estimated time of arrival of 60 minutes. After 60 minutes, told me 30 more. After 30 minutes, got mad at me for checking again and basically told me they'll get there whenever. If they had been HONEST, I could have gotten some food in me instead of sitting in hot Florida sun for two hours, feeling faint. Just provide clear honest information instead of endlessly lying, is that too much to ask for? :( read more

Stay Away!!! These people lie, cheat and steal. Their drivers pad their time on scene and lie about what they did there because they have a myriad "extra charges" to hit you with. When you call them out on these things (which I could because I took pics, therefore documenting the real time line) they will start screaming and yelling at you! Very unhappy with my experience. Made a roadside assistance request at 6:32 AM, to wait an hour ( which was fine) expecting to get towed at 7:32AM. After ten minutes, called. Said someone must've pressed the wrong button & went back to sleep. Couldn't get ahold of my tow truck that was suppose to be in route but WAS NOT. At 7:42 AM I was told it'd be an additional 20 minutes because they were sending a new guy. New guy just called saying he'd be there in 20 minutes. My car died on me this weekend and I needed a tow since it wouldn't even start after being jumped. Courtesy Towing was sent by my roadside assistance. I was told it would be about an hour until they got there. 15 minutes later I got a call from the tow company that he was about 20 minutes and asked what was wrong with my car. He showed up about 45 minutes from my orignal call, less than estumated time. When he got there he was really friendly and hopeful that he can do something to get my car going so it wouldn't need a tow. Unfortunately I didn't have such luck. Being later in the day on a Sunday I was worried everything would be closed. He assured me if where ever I wanted my car to be dropped off was closed he would not leave me stranded! He had the ultimate goal of helping his customer to his full capability. I would definitely use them again! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service, extremely rude drivers, and zero help when picking up your car. They refused to let us use a jumper cable claiming they didn't have any, and after asking someone outside on the grounds they said they have plenty. If you want your vehicle damaged this is a great place... Our truck was damaged in the front in an accident and towed to their yard, however when we met the insurance adjuster at the tow yard the back end was dented and the taillight was broken. We have pictures of our truck on their tow truck with no damage to the back and pics of the damage that occurred in their yard. Mark, the owner was not willing to even talk or look at pics and claimed the damage was existing. pics don't lie. read more

My 2016 Nissan Maxima suddenly would not start which you just don't expect when it only has 29k miles.... Geico dispatched this company to get me and the driver was so nice. He called me to let me know he was on his way but was in traffic (expected as this happened right at the peak of rush hour). When he did arrive instead of immediately trying to tow, he did a little bit of trouble shooting. I thought it was something electrical (and bad) because the car was exhibiting weird behaviors such as the windshield wipers would come on and slowly drag across the windshield, the gages were moving and flashing and a message that the key is was not being accepted was being displayed, but he found that the battery had taken a major dump. He was able to get it started so I could drive to the dealership for warranty covered service. The driver was very nice and professional and if I ever have to be towed (hopefully not) I will call this company first. read more
