Rare burger, medium rare burger, fish & chips, cuban burger.

Roscoe Beer Company recommended Courtyard, and it was fantastic. Filled with locals, the bartender (owner?) greeted us as we walked in, directed us to either of their dining rooms, we chose the one in view of the bar, at the fireplace. Decorated with deer, coyotes, a pheasant. The food was delicious--14oz burgers cooked rare for my teen, medium rare for the boys. I had the fish & chips--light batter, super crispy, not at all doughy--LOVED it. Crispy onion rings. My kids couldn't finish their burgers because they were so substantial, which was a first--we had them packed to take home, cheeses include cheddar, swiss, mozzarella, provolone, as well as American. Friendly and efficient service, good food, comfortable atmosphere. Lookjng forward to returning,

View of the golf course from the side entrance. Better view on the other side where the man is sitting.

We came by on our way home. Was looking for a place to satisfy our hunger. If you are looking for a fancy restaurant, this is not the place for you. This is a local joint to hang out for a good conversation and drink. There were few restaurants in the heart of town but, we drove a few moments down the road to come to this restaurant to be out of the way from the crowd. The restaurant has a parking lot and it has a view of the golf course if you are sitting outside at the porch. This is a quaint little town. There are a lot of memorabilia of hunting and fishing on the walls of the restaurant. I love both! Good old American value. (Sorry, no photos of food as they are typical American flair. Nothing to write home about but, it will satisfy your belly.) Come here if you are hungry and want to support our local communities. The restaurant is full of locals who decent here to catch up with each other. We had two burgers and a Caesar salad and a few pops. The burgers were huge and they use Kaiser buns.

Meatball Sub accompanied by a Tito's martini.

For my family, a road trip through the Catskills isn't complete without a stop at Roscoe Diner…read more We've been coming here for years, and walking through the doors always brings back memories of past trips. The diner is incredibly popular, so don't be surprised if there's a wait during peak hours. Between the convenient location right off the highway and its reputation as a Catskills institution, it's easy to see why so many travelers make this a regular stop. One of my favorite details is the collection of college banners hanging throughout the restaurant. Every visit, I find myself looking around to see which schools are represented. Food-wise, the deep-fried French toast is the menu item everyone talks about, and for good reason. I usually order one of their omelets with sausage links, and it's always hearty and satisfying. Before heading out, take a look at the bakery case. They offer a great selection of cookies, including several gluten-free varieties, which is something I always appreciate. As someone who eats gluten-free, I'd love to see them expand those options even further with gluten-free bread or a few additional menu items. The diner has also added an ice cream shop behind the main building, making it an even more enjoyable stop during the warmer months. Service has always been friendly, though things can move a little slower when the restaurant is packed. If you're ordering takeout, it's also worth double-checking your order before leaving, as we've occasionally had an item missed. The building itself shows its age, and while a refresh could certainly brighten things up, there's also something comforting about the nostalgia that comes with a classic roadside diner that's been serving travelers for generations. I do miss the days when Roscoe Diner stayed open later, but I understand how much the restaurant industry--and small-town economies--have changed over the years. No place is perfect, but Roscoe Diner remains one of those special stops that feels woven into the Catskills experience. Between the comforting food, welcoming atmosphere, convenient location, and years of family memories, it's a place we'll continue visiting for many years to come.

This place is typically diner, portions are huge and reasonable price. Food came out quick and the server was very attentive. Ambiance was really cozy and diner vibes with all the college pendants displayed throughout the restaurant.
