Stayed for a weekend. Room was clean. Family was comfortable. The room appeared to be updated. I appreciated the roll out cabinet for extra top space for bags. The bathroom and entrance has automatic lights that you could turn off but that was nice to come in when we arrived so we wouldn't be searching for a light switch. There was plenty of lamps. Not many outlets so if your family has several devices, you will likely need some sort of extension. The bathroom was clean with good lighting. The shower in our room hadn't been renovated as it had a few repaired cracks. A suggestion for the hotel though is if you have a family of 4, they should have 4 sets of towels. We had a microwave and fridge with a working freezer. The freezer did freeze our ice blocks overnight. The ice machine worked. We did have breakfast (not in included) and both my husband I enjoyed our food. The parking is $10 a day

The staff here is amazing!! Always a smile and greeting us. We stayed three nights and had zero issues. We have stayed at other hotels around here to visit family and they were horrible!!! I highly recommend this hotel. Also, if you want to have a drink at the bar, make sure you say Hello to Juan Carlos!

Friendly staff, clean spacious rooms with all the necessities in a convenient location to the freeway and near shops and restaurants in walking distance. Maintenance responded to complaints quickly. Quiet minus door slamming.

Love it here. Booked couple nights because my house AC broke. Love how spacious there lobby is, with lots of sitting places with tables and chairs. Pool is decent size with jacuzzi, and towels provided. Thats a plus compared to some Marriott that either I have to ask for pool towels at the front desk first, or the one that needed to swipe our room key before I can get towels. Theres bar on site. Room is spacious double bed with bathtub. The thing that I dont get is why they kept telling me they didnt have double bed room with bathtub (i inquired prior to my arrival, and upon checking in). But when we got to the room, there you go. Bath tub and double beds??! Funny.. Some other Courtyard that I stayed in have a more comfortable small couch in the room. This one doesn't. One chair, one stool, and another desk chair which I dont prefer because it keeps on tilting back. Some other Marriott also provide at least morning coffee in the morning, or even breakfast. This one doesnt. The Bistro served a la carte breakfast from 630-930 am. The bar serves Starbucks coffee. Very small store next to the check in counter selling some over the counter meds, instant noodles, , sweets and drinks. No ice cream though. Parking is $6 a day. Which is non customary imo in West Covina area with plenty of free parking spaces in different establishments, but its not bad at all compared to other Marriott that charges $43-$60 for a night parking. Fitness center also more spacious than other Marriot's fitness center. Basic equipment of treadmills, weights only. Staff are very friendly. Easy to request service, just through Marriot Bonvoy app. Mobile key also working, which is another plus. Location next to fwy. Within walking distance to Guadalajara Grill who has Mariachi nightly, mcDonalds, Starbucks, Dennys. Its also across Home Depot and Walmart Supercenter.

I liked this courtyard. Staff are nice and the place was clean. The breakfast selections were great! This is conveniently located near the highway and there are numerous restaurants nearby. I enjoyed my stay here.

2 minutes from I-10. Located right next to Sizzler, Denny's, Guadalajara grill, McDonald's, Starbucks. And within 15 minutes you can find several other eating choices. The Bistro/bar here has excellent food and Starbucks coffee. I stayed here for seven nights and ate here most of the time. I had the grilled chicken Caesar on two occasions. Wingettes came with 10 pieces and carrots/cucumber. Their fries are some of the best I've ever had. Turkey - avocado BLT One morning I have the everything bagel with cream cheese, it's one of my favorites. Another morning I had a ham egg and cheese croissant. So we're definitely a couple of other dishes I would have loved to try and they were highly recommended by several different people I ran into throughout my time here. Chicken bacon flatbread and the Marguerite and basil flatbread. I saw their burger and it looks really good. I have a bar and really good drinks, along with a beer selection. Some things are fair price and others are a bit high, like the bottled water. But it is what it is and it was all really good. Service was excellent. Juan Pedro and Mario were the bar keepers, depending on the day of the week. Michael was a great help as was the morning staff Morning services 6:30a- 10a 7 days a week. Evening service 5p- 10p 7 days a week. Very attentive and kind service staff. Excellent coffee drinks. The front desk at the lobby staff was always helpful. Check in with super quick and easy. Thursday parking lot with a security gate. $6 a night for hotel guests. There is a nice size pool with a small hot tub. They do have several tables where you can sit down to eat and they have an individual TV. My stay was super quiet and the room was clean and comfortable. I stayed in 807 and prefer the upper levels to the lower levels. I had a great view of the sunset out my window.

I'm very surprised to see the previous reviews of this hotel. Had I known, I would take more pictures. Our room was clean, comfortable and really spacious. The decor was updated and no funky smell at all. Did I mentioned clean already? I did not check the pool. I did not think I have to. I wish I read the old reviews earlier. The bar and market area in the lobby were open. There's Starbuck on the premise. I took their gym pictures because it's an important amenity for me. I ate whatever "must eat" whenever we are on vacation. So, need to burn some of the excess calories (So, I can eat more) Their gym is really spotless and clean. I enjoyed using their space. The weight machine is not well oiled. So, I did not used them. The dumbbells were clean. Definitely will stay here again

    service

Today, I got an email reply from the hotel and hotel of Americans. Obviously, even if you buy any value-added refund insurance, it can not guarantee your refund smoothly. Still ludicrous is the requirement to communicate with and consult with the hotel myself. The hotel responded by asking for a one-day deduction to return the room fee. It got me thinking about what kind of business cooperation there is between hotels and booking sites. I only hope that you will consider your financial risk when booking this hotel.

I've never seen such bad hotel service. I booked a room from hotel of Americas for October 11th to 13th and purchased a refundable upgrade for an extra $23 just in case there are any changes in my schedule. Moreover, the cancellation policy clearly states that the full amount will be cancelled until check-in on the 11th. When I called the hotel front desk, the hotel manager asked me to deduct the room charge for that day, otherwise I would not be allowed to refund. When I said I had a refundable upgrade, the manager with the Indian accent immediately became very unfriendly. Don't give me two completely unrelated phone calls to solve the problem. However, so far I have not received my refund, obviously the hotel and the website are passing the buck to each other, I strongly recommend that you do not book a hotel here, in case you lose money.

    Work desk in the room!

They have a microwave in the room!! What a luxury. Loyalty Benefits: It's interesting, sometimes they give global ambassadors a 25$ voucher at the Bestro/Starbucks downstairs and other times they don't. No lounges here.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 days when I went down to LA for a business trip. The check-in process was a smooth sail and the front desk clerk was very sweet. Parking is $6/daily or $2 hourly (max $8). The parking lot is well lit which gives me a peace of mind because I have had my vehicle broken into in the past so seeing all of these lights made me sleep a lot better. Our view was not very pretty as we had the room facing the neighbors backyard. The room was clean, came equipped with a mini fridge, a microwave plus a small safe in the closet. They have a starbucks inside of this marriott which is super convenient for those caffeine lovers however please be cautious, they don't make every drink on starbucks menu. If you're favorite drink isn't made here, not to worry there is literally a starbucks in the shopping center right next door. We utilized the hot tub for some relaxation and it was very calming! Although the hotel is located right next door to the freeway, we didnt hear much noises and we slept like a baby. Looking forward to coming back here next month!

Gorgeous morning by the hot tub and poolside!

After going through a very stressful situation with a previous stay that led to my son having medical issues, my family and I came here exhausted and overwhelmed. From the moment we walked in, Emily at the front desk showed us nothing but kindness, professionalism, and understanding. She made the check-in process smooth and welcomed us without hesitation. I've stayed at many places over the years--Marriott, Embassy Suites, even high-end casino resorts back home in San Diego--and I can honestly say this place stands right there with them. The cleanliness, the comfort, the atmosphere... it truly exceeded expectations, especially for the value. This experience reminded me not to judge a place from the outside. What matters is how you're treated and how a place makes you feel--and this team made my family feel safe, comfortable, and cared for when we needed it the most. To Emily, and the manager, and the entire staff--thank you. What you did for my family means more than words can express. -- Snowden, LLC

Serious Safety and Service Issues - Not What I Expect From Hilton…read more My husband and I stayed here using his Diamond account, and the experience was troubling enough that I feel obligated to warn other travelers, especially families. 1. Noise & A Sleepless Night We specifically requested a "quiet room" in our reservation note because we had an 8‑hour drive ahead during a winter storm. Despite this, we were placed on the 1st floor next to a heavy exit door that slammed loudly starting at 4:00 AM. At 5:35 AM, I went to the lobby to ask for earplugs or a room change. The night auditor appeared to be dozing and was initially unresponsive. When I finally got his attention and told him about the noise and my reservation note, he was dismissive, stating we should have requested a change earlier, such as when we first woke up at 4:00 AM. He offered no earplugs or assistance and said nothing could be done until a manager arrived at 9:00 AM. 2. Troubling Discrepancies & Billing Errors At 8:30 AM, we spoke with another staff member about the morning's events. Shockingly, she told us our reservation note did NOT include a quiet-room request. Instead, she claimed the internal notes we put in were "lower floor and away from elevator"--requests we absolutely never made. While the latter part of the note about payment methods was still visible to her, seeing our "Quiet room" request vanish and be replaced by different notes was incredibly unsettling. When I questioned this discrepancy and expressed my disappointment in the night auditor's behavior, she labeled me as "aggressive" for simply trying to understand what happened. Furthermore, when we checked out at 10:00 AM, I asked for a receipt with a zero balance for my stay with the payment cards listed because I was worried that the payments wouldn't be handled as promised. She insisted that she could only print out the folio as is--one that showed that we still owed the hotel for the night. She claimed she saw the payment arrangement put in by the check-in staff and that the balance would be "handled accordingly." Despite this, they mishandled the charges, and it took us another hour on the phone later to get the payment settled. 3. Customer Service Breakdown Between the lack of sleep, the unresponsive night staff, the unexplained changes to our reservation notes, and the hostile tone we received, we felt completely dismissed. My husband spent hours with Hilton Corporate trying to get answers. Ultimately, corporate forced us to choose between a standard room refund or points for the night, with zero acknowledgment of the staff conduct or the compromised reservation notes. Bottom Line I have always trusted the Hilton brand, but this stay left our family feeling uncomfortable, unsafe, and unheard. I strongly urge management to review their overnight staff procedures and system integrity so no other guests experience this.

I could've stayed at the Le Méridien in Arcadia, but I picked the Sheraton instead because of that feature. At check-in, I specifically asked again about the pool temperature, and staff assured me it was always kept between 80-85 degrees. To my surprise, the pool was absolutely not heated. When I called the front desk, they first said, "Oh yes, it should be" and "It's always 83 degrees." Once I explained the water was clearly cold, they changed the story to "We turn it off during certain hours," then immediately corrected themselves and said they were "having technical difficulties." At that point, I was already disappointed. Then I tried using the hotel room phone, which barely worked. The staff member kept saying, "I can't hear you," and then hung up without even attempting to follow up or figure out what the guest needed. Other issues: * WiFi was extremely slow and unreliable * TV streaming/WiFi barely worked * TV remote was terrible -- buttons had to be pressed hard and had a 5-second delay * Shower water never got hot enough Overall, this was a bad experience from start to finish. Unfortunately the room had some plumbing issues and the bathroom was a little rundown in my opinion (on top of the loud noise coming from downstairs) but I want to compliment the friendly staff overall in this review. Something that affected my stay was the pool situation. I was shocked when I discovered how small the pool area is for such a nice big hotel overall. There wasn't enough lounge chairs or anywhere to sit in general. Everyone was playing their own music loud, some louder than others, a bunch of kids splashing everywhere and I was surprised by this since I was thinking this would be a calm, peaceful resort setting. I was honestly surprised that there was no security at the time to enforce anything. Overall I tried to make the best of the circumstances but I will never return to this pool unfortunately. This hotel in general does have great views though.
