I'm praying one day they come back. The convention was held at the Sheraton San Gabriel which was the perfect size for a smaller con without being too crowded and without being too oversized. There's free parking if you're okay walking from the 99 Ranch Market plaza or if you find it in the close by residential area. Looks nice inside, the panel rooms were smaller, but accommodate the smaller attendee population too. Internet connection for the event was fine. Acoustics in the ballroom and panel rooms, along with AV set up was good. Lobby area and some just standard hotel backdrop were perfect for photos. Love that it's walking distance from lots of delicious food options. Staff were friendly and venue was nice and clean. Restrooms were clean each and every time.

I could've stayed at the Le Méridien in Arcadia, but I picked the Sheraton instead because of that feature. At check-in, I specifically asked again about the pool temperature, and staff assured me it was always kept between 80-85 degrees. To my surprise, the pool was absolutely not heated. When I called the front desk, they first said, "Oh yes, it should be" and "It's always 83 degrees." Once I explained the water was clearly cold, they changed the story to "We turn it off during certain hours," then immediately corrected themselves and said they were "having technical difficulties." At that point, I was already disappointed. Then I tried using the hotel room phone, which barely worked. The staff member kept saying, "I can't hear you," and then hung up without even attempting to follow up or figure out what the guest needed. Other issues: * WiFi was extremely slow and unreliable * TV streaming/WiFi barely worked * TV remote was terrible -- buttons had to be pressed hard and had a 5-second delay * Shower water never got hot enough Overall, this was a bad experience from start to finish. The hotel looks nice and has all the fancy bells and whistles, but the actual experience was frustrating and disappointing. To top it off, during checkout, nobody seemed to care about the issues I experienced. They just told me the total for the bill and moved on. Will not be coming back.

My friends have been er been here, so I felt this was the best location especially since one of us is Chinese from Malaysia. It was nice because I was able to park at the Hilton honors spaces when available. At check in, Vincent was soft spoken, and courteous. He made sure my room was feather free as requested due to my asthma. Our room was ready when we arrived. Great since we were hungry, and we could drop off our luggage in the room before heading out. I always check round with my blacklight to see the cleanliness of a room. But the only reason I didn't give a five star this time was before I even checked with my blacklight, the curtains were open, and we saw dust caked on the dresser, lamp stand, and too of headboards. Unacceptable since two of my friends have allergies, and as an asthmatic I am allergic to three different dust mites. I called Vincent at the front desk and he immediately sent someone up. Now the train I have a four star and not a there is because of Linda from housekeeping. She said she understands because she has brothers who are asthmatic. When she saw how dusty the room was she also was appalled by the condition. Linda did a great job. Although we left a small to in the room for whoever will be cleaning next, we left something extra for Linda at the front desk. That being said the bathrooms were clean. Beddings clean but bed a little too hard for my liking. The other gals told me it was fine for them. We were going to try their dim sum restaurant downstairs, but we were pretty dim summed out, so we tried something different nearby.

I got room 615 and it feels like there's two attic in the room. One in the bathroom and one in the door way. The door looks nasty like the paint is chipping off. And the bathtub wall is chipped.

Lady, it's not us. The party is upstairs. The failure here is the front desk clerk not properly investigating the situation. He should have gotten up from his chair and locate the offenders and politely ask them to tone it down!!! So not coming back here. I had to change my room because it was a fully accessible so the bathroom shower was too. Front desk was able to get me into another room on the 3rd floor 1 king bed, small living area very nice but smelled funky, humid and moldy. I refreshed it with lysol... But the bed was horrible, itchy and painful, when I told the morning desk person he dismissed my comment by telling me "it a brand new bed" I told him tell your owner to get a refund, it's lumpy has a dip in the middle... I woke up with a pain on my side thigh that's sore too the touch. We'll see if I get a bruise. They offer breakfast last time I was here, it was good... Today's breakfast not good at all...barely cooked bacon, eggs were more like pancakes very chewy too.. I opted to just have coffee and a protein shake... I may not be back again... May be worth paying a bit more for actual quality. Sadly no way to recoup charges, money down the drain ‍

Need bigger work desk/chair - most courtyard hotels have bigger work desk and chair with rollers. There is no luggage rack; the small space near the closet can barely fit a small carry on, not a bigger suit case. It would be nice to get a luggage bench in front of the beds as there are tons of space in the room. Need more storage / dresser - there is only two small drawers next to closet. Nothing else in the room to put my stuff. No safe - at least I can't find it. The coffee shop and crystal palace are nice. Also there are lots of restaurants, shops, boba places nearby. I will definitely will consider coming back to stay.

The room setup with sofa, office area, and microwave/fridge is great for solo business travel, though overall is a bit tight for a couple. Bathroom nice and roomy with walk-in shower. The bidet was epic and most welcome. Facilities modern, beautiful reception area. Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of EV charging stations. Functional fitness center; I know hotels probably consider these a waste of revenue-generating space. I did not have a specific need to be in Monterey Park, but my stay became a good opportunity to stop at my favorite Chinese restaurants and shops nearby.

I enjoyed the clean pool, and hot tub to unwind after a long day of exploring. I really appreciated the willingness to help when the refrigerator wasn't working. The front desk quickly sent someone to fix the fridge, and he carried the entire new fridge up to the room to discover that it simply hasn't been turned on. There were a few issues I came across, the shower never got hotter than lukewarm which was a bummer. Soundproofing was another, I could hear everything from water running through the walls, metal clanking from the floor above, constant hums from appliances. I stayed for 2 nights and I felt quite restless despite the bed and pillows being incredibly comfortable. Despite the issues, I still found it a comfortable stay and it was very convenient to explore the SGV area.

Also, the women's restroom in the lobby was disgusting and had no toilet paper in the stalls and overflowing waste baskets. One staff member, who appeared to be in a supervisory or managerial role, was consistently rude, dismissive, and made assumptions about guests without bothering to gather any information first. Before even asking why people were there, she seemed to automatically assume that anyone sitting in the lobby of Asian descent was simply waiting for a restaurant table. It came across as unwelcoming and unnecessarily confrontational. What bothered me most was how our family was treated. We have toddler twins who cannot even speak yet. They were doing what toddlers do--smiling, giggling, and reacting to the world around them. Yet we were made to feel as though their mere presence and laughter were unacceptable. She rudely asked me "Can you control your twins?" She clearly has not had any children or been around any because you simply can't control two rambunctious toddlers who don't follow instructions well yet. There is a difference between addressing genuinely disruptive behavior and showing zero patience or grace toward families with young children. A hotel lobby is a shared space for hotel guests and visitors alike, not a library where parents are expected to keep nonverbal toddlers completely silent. Hospitality starts with making people feel welcome. Instead, we felt judged, stereotyped, and treated like an inconvenience from the moment this staff member interacted with us.

Our room faced the rear of the hotel overlooking the golf course and consisted of the beautiful lake. The room was spacious and clean, and fully equipped with things that make you feel like you're at home: plates, cups, bowls, utensils, + a full sized fridge. Bonus points because complimentary breakfast is offered daily. Hours of operation M-Fri are from 6am-9am. Weekend hours are from 7am-10am. This is absolutely THE BEST complimentary breakfast spread I have ever had the pleasure of taking part in. Granted, most places I've stayed @ doesn't offer this. Here you will find a waffle station with all of the toppings you could imagine, eggs, ham, sausage patties, assortment of cereals, yogurt, fruit cups, and fresh fruit. While I am not sure how great the options are for a vegetarian standpoint but I did notice meatless patties. My complaints: 1)The lighting within the room are positioned horribly. Whether you decide to use the restroom light or the ones located in the dining|kitchen area as a nightlight, they are both extremely bright making it difficult to sleep. My toddler and I struggled to sleep soundly due to us being sensitive sleepers. 2)Someone triggered the fire alarm during our stay. Walking down 6 flights of stairs with a toddler is already tough but adding in groups and groups of other patrons caused for more traffic than I was ready for. Once we made it back to the lobby we were told it was a false alarm. **insert EYE ROLLS emoji** 4 stars overall. Our stay was comfortable and parking was never an issue. Home2 Suites by Hilton LA Montebello comes recommended. I'd stay here again but would probably bring eye masks for myself and my toddler.
