I'm judging based on my expectations for a Courtyard and my stay was pleasant. When I arrived, I asked what their pool hours were and was told the pool was closed temporarily for maintenance, but the woman at the front desk called my room later when it was open. I was planning on checking myself later, but it was thoughtful she followed up. The room was comfortable and clean with a big couch, there was plenty of parking, it was a little hard to find since it was farther up the road than I thought but it wasn't too hard to find. I didn't see the bistro area open (not sure if you have to ask at the front desk for someone) but the couches in the lobby were comfortable as I had to make a call after checking out so it was a great waiting area. The pool was big and indoors, there was a hot tub, and they had free wifi. There was also a fitness room I used that had a few machines and weights. It covered all the bases of what I need while travelling.

The courtyard Boston Andover is pretty much a 3 star establishment as it is located kind of off the beaten path however +1 additional huge star for having extremely comfortable beds! I mean the beds here are leagues above most of the other courtyards and hotels in this price classification. The hotel itself is actually quite nice as well, huge modern well appointed rooms and a nice spa, bistro and courtyard for you to get some r&r after a long day of work. Overall, this courtyard is a bit off the beaten path and dated on the outside, but service is solid and you'll definitely be able to get a good nights sleep here. Pros- Beds Room size Service Overall grounds Bistro Modern amenities Lots of parking Heating/AC units Cons- Nothing really around it Off the beaten path

Average rooms. The outside looks dumpy; interior looks recently redone. Sliders with exterior openings, not a fan safety wise. In the middle of nowhere. Food needs some help.

We were told that the city was contacted, but there was nothing changed. the hot water however was okay and clean but basics you do with cold water (brushing teeth, washing face) was done in hot water or with water bottles. i would not recommend this specific location; literally would only go to see Grizzi* (hope I spelled her name right).

It's a little hard to find at night but when I did find it I was quite pleasantly surprised. It's consistent like every other SpringHill- which are my preferred work hotels. This location doesn't have the full kitchens like most SpringHill Suites do, but it's fine with me- they have a fridge and microwave. Staff are very polite and efficient. Workout room is clean and well-equipped. I'm in Andover 3 or 4 times per year for work, and this will be my hotel to stay at going forward. The quiet setting makes you feel like you're in the middle of New England. Highly recommended.

Our suite was exceptionally spacious and comfortable, which gave us plenty of room to get ready for the big day. On top of that, the breakfast options were easily the best I've ever had at a hotel! My only minor feedback is that it would be helpful to have hooks on the doors or walls to hang dresses and formal wear. Overall, this location was a wonderful place to stay, and I would highly recommend it!

Everything seemed clean for the most part with your normal wear and tear you see at most hotels. The one thing that bothered me was there was still hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived, the vent in the bathroom was very dusty like it is never cleaned and the silverware in the drawer in the kitchen was still dirty. Bed was nice and comfortable and ac worked great. Service was mediocre. Nothing stood out to me. Desk personnel weren't overly friendly as they are at some hotels. I would say overall we had a pretty good stay, especially for the price.

We try to stay with the Hilton brand to maximize point accumulation and this also satisfied that expectation. I booked ahead online, checked in and selected my room with the Hilton app before my arrival. I was working several miles South of the hotel but my colleagues staying and working at the same location convinced me this was a good area and good place to stay. The drive back and forth to the Wilmington area was consumed with traffic on I-93 in the direction I was going everyday. I was surprised to find out the traffic on I-93 was so much the "breakdown" lanes (shoulder) on the highway was open going South toward Boston from 6-10am and going North away from Boston from 3-7pm. The room was perfect for what I needed and it was very quiet. I booked a King studio suite which includes a small kitchenette. There was a king bed with a couch and coffee table with an ottoman under the coffee table. The kitchenette included a sink, microwave, smaller stovetop and a full size fridge. I stopped at a nearby grocery store when I arrived and purchased a few items to have in my room. My checked bag had significant damage to one of the wheels which compromised the hard case. I was concerned it would not last on the return trip. I chose to purchase a new bag on Amazon instead of driving and searching for something. I had it delivered to the front desk with my name. I let them know ahead of time that it would be arriving. When I got the notification it arrived, I went to the front desk after work and picked it up. It worked flawlessly and I was able to use the new suitcase to get my belongings safely home. Overall it was a good stay, quiet and comfortable. It was easy in and out and not too far from my work. However, I do not like the area or the traffic. This is way too busy for my liking. I likely have to travel here again but I would rather be visiting an area with far less traffic.

Upon walking in it appeared well maintained until I started to smell cigarette smoke and weed smells. It was suppose to be 100% smoke free but apparently not. Upon check in they first updated me that the indoor pool was broken and was full of green water. Pretty gross. As for the smoke the manager she said they were trying their best. No real apologies or discounts offered. I saw many customers asking for their money back and leaving because of this. I proceeded to my room and instantly knew something was up when the elevator nor the hallways were air conditioned. The hallway smelled the worse of smoke. Food crumbs were all over the floor as well bags of trash and linens were outside of most doors. Management stated they don't clean rooms or offer new linens until after 3 days. Got to my room and of course it smelled like stale smoke like how bars used to smell like. Room itself was pretty nice with microwave and fridge but if smoke bothered you then it's not for you. I sprayed some air freshener and just put up with it. Finally went to take a shower and the rails were somewhat off and the shower leaked onto the floor. I would say the only thing good about this hotel was the price and the breakfast. Employees still were very nice but didn't speak English. Next month I head back to the area and I won't be staying here. Wyndham really needs to improve this place or Oxidize all the rooms. Only for you if you don't mind smoke and trash in the hallway.

We promptly reported it to the front desk. The housekeeping manager, the housekeeping room auditor, and the hotel manager accompanied us to inspect the room. Despite the obvious odor, all three insisted they could not smell marijuana and suggested that what we were smelling was simply the cleaning solution. It was clearly not a cleaning product--it was the distinct smell of marijuana. Our concerns were later validated when a painting contractor accompanied me back to the room to retrieve an item that I had accidentally left behind. Without any prompting, the contractor also commented that he smelled marijuana in the room. This confirmed that the odor was real and not simply our perception. I was also concerned that a painting contractor--not hotel management or security--was allowed to accompany a guest into the room to retrieve personal belongings. That raised questions about the hotel's security procedures and guest privacy. Had I read the Yelp reviews before making my reservation, I would have chosen a different hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was consistent with many of the negative reviews. Between the persistent marijuana odor, the dismissal of our legitimate concerns by hotel management, and the questionable handling of guest security, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
