I would recommend here only if you plan on being up by 0800 and ready to get out and explore. I would not recommend for someone using if short term like a travel healthcare professional. I work mid shift and stayed here between airbnbs and they are constantly doing construction while I would be sleeping. Nighttime was very quiet. Breakfast was decent but pancake machine was constantly broken. The pool wasn't open due to construction. The gym was a decent gym for sure. The rooms were very clean and great amenities. The grounds were nicely landscaped but the construction crew has trashed it so badly with tons and tons of beer bottles broken everywhere, their caulking supplies all over, pieces of trash and hardware everywhere. So without the construction solid 8 out of 10. With it 4 out of 10.

I was attending an event in a nearby town, so my stay at Sonesta ES was short. On first impression, I thought the property was quite impressive. It was clean and bright. There are lots of amenities, including a pool, a barbecue grill, a gym, and business center. There's plenty of parking around the entire property. During my stay, the printer at the business center wasn't functioning. Check-in and check-out where slow since there was only one person at reception. I thought they could use a second person. The studio room that I was given was clean when I arrived. I liked that there was a mini couch and a table in the kitchen to lounge around and do some work. I liked that there was a kitchen with a refrigerator. It came in handy when I had dinner leftovers. The bed was comfortable and I didn't have any problems falling asleep. The shower pressure was excellent. However, there was no conditioner available in the wall-mounted dispenser. Complimentary breakfast was okay. Every day, there were eggs and two rotating food options. On one day, it was biscuits and sausage gravy. On the other day, it was sausage and potatoes. There's always fruit, bread and bagels, and orange and grapefruit juice available. Overall, I thought Sonesta was a great place to stay.

This was the worst Hotel experience I have ever had. I wasn't notified that the hotel was under renovation. The room was terrible. The service at the front desk was worst. Do yourself a huge favor and go to the hotels across the road.

Beautiful, Modern, Chic, Spotless, etc.. The list goes on! I absolutely loved my stay here. Andover is a gorgeous neighborhood and this hotel is a true gem. The breakfast was actually very good. I'm going to visit again this summer to take advantage of the pool. You will not be disappointed. Excellent price for an absolute gorgeous place. It's about a 20 minute drive to downtown Boston.

We LOVED our stay here!! This is a hotel for the do it yourselfer - and I mean that in a good way! It's like home when you're there - refrigerator, dishwasher. The rooms are clean and bright! Comfortable bed with fluffy down comfortable and great towels. Kitchenette layout - just such a comfy mini apartment layout. The free hot breakfast buffet was GREAT! Healthy food options which I loved. Decent coffee and good assortment of pastries and juices. Well maintained. Feels newly renovated with lots of areas to hang out. Great courtyard with grill, basketball court and small pool. We enjoyed the morning poolside before we checked out. Free wifi. Pet friendly. A+ on my book.

Sonesta Hotel, was for me, one of the most pleasant places I've ever stayed at. This was a last minute trip, courtesy of my cousin, who invited us! It's located in Andover, Massachusetts. I must say, the hot breakfast food, service, and room decor exceeded beyond my expectations. Me and my family had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. The hotel provided a grill and pool for our enjoyment. The rooms come with a small, but fully equipped kitchen (except for an oven). We brought our food for the barbecue. I definitely recommend this hotel. Next time, we should consider visiting a Sonesta Hotel by the Jersey shore.

It was quiet, nice room. The air/heat was weird. It blew hot and cold although it kept the room temperate. the staff were pleasant.

We were told that the city was contacted, but there was nothing changed. the hot water however was okay and clean but basics you do with cold water (brushing teeth, washing face) was done in hot water or with water bottles. i would not recommend this specific location; literally would only go to see Grizzi* (hope I spelled her name right).

It's a little hard to find at night but when I did find it I was quite pleasantly surprised. It's consistent like every other SpringHill- which are my preferred work hotels. This location doesn't have the full kitchens like most SpringHill Suites do, but it's fine with me- they have a fridge and microwave. Staff are very polite and efficient. Workout room is clean and well-equipped. I'm in Andover 3 or 4 times per year for work, and this will be my hotel to stay at going forward. The quiet setting makes you feel like you're in the middle of New England. Highly recommended.

We try to stay with the Hilton brand to maximize point accumulation and this also satisfied that expectation. I booked ahead online, checked in and selected my room with the Hilton app before my arrival. I was working several miles South of the hotel but my colleagues staying and working at the same location convinced me this was a good area and good place to stay. The drive back and forth to the Wilmington area was consumed with traffic on I-93 in the direction I was going everyday. I was surprised to find out the traffic on I-93 was so much the "breakdown" lanes (shoulder) on the highway was open going South toward Boston from 6-10am and going North away from Boston from 3-7pm. The room was perfect for what I needed and it was very quiet. I booked a King studio suite which includes a small kitchenette. There was a king bed with a couch and coffee table with an ottoman under the coffee table. The kitchenette included a sink, microwave, smaller stovetop and a full size fridge. I stopped at a nearby grocery store when I arrived and purchased a few items to have in my room. My checked bag had significant damage to one of the wheels which compromised the hard case. I was concerned it would not last on the return trip. I chose to purchase a new bag on Amazon instead of driving and searching for something. I had it delivered to the front desk with my name. I let them know ahead of time that it would be arriving. When I got the notification it arrived, I went to the front desk after work and picked it up. It worked flawlessly and I was able to use the new suitcase to get my belongings safely home. Overall it was a good stay, quiet and comfortable. It was easy in and out and not too far from my work. However, I do not like the area or the traffic. This is way too busy for my liking. I likely have to travel here again but I would rather be visiting an area with far less traffic.

Upon walking in it appeared well maintained until I started to smell cigarette smoke and weed smells. It was suppose to be 100% smoke free but apparently not. Upon check in they first updated me that the indoor pool was broken and was full of green water. Pretty gross. As for the smoke the manager she said they were trying their best. No real apologies or discounts offered. I saw many customers asking for their money back and leaving because of this. I proceeded to my room and instantly knew something was up when the elevator nor the hallways were air conditioned. The hallway smelled the worse of smoke. Food crumbs were all over the floor as well bags of trash and linens were outside of most doors. Management stated they don't clean rooms or offer new linens until after 3 days. Got to my room and of course it smelled like stale smoke like how bars used to smell like. Room itself was pretty nice with microwave and fridge but if smoke bothered you then it's not for you. I sprayed some air freshener and just put up with it. Finally went to take a shower and the rails were somewhat off and the shower leaked onto the floor. I would say the only thing good about this hotel was the price and the breakfast. Employees still were very nice but didn't speak English. Next month I head back to the area and I won't be staying here. Wyndham really needs to improve this place or Oxidize all the rooms. Only for you if you don't mind smoke and trash in the hallway.

We promptly reported it to the front desk. The housekeeping manager, the housekeeping room auditor, and the hotel manager accompanied us to inspect the room. Despite the obvious odor, all three insisted they could not smell marijuana and suggested that what we were smelling was simply the cleaning solution. It was clearly not a cleaning product--it was the distinct smell of marijuana. Our concerns were later validated when a painting contractor accompanied me back to the room to retrieve an item that I had accidentally left behind. Without any prompting, the contractor also commented that he smelled marijuana in the room. This confirmed that the odor was real and not simply our perception. I was also concerned that a painting contractor--not hotel management or security--was allowed to accompany a guest into the room to retrieve personal belongings. That raised questions about the hotel's security procedures and guest privacy. Had I read the Yelp reviews before making my reservation, I would have chosen a different hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was consistent with many of the negative reviews. Between the persistent marijuana odor, the dismissal of our legitimate concerns by hotel management, and the questionable handling of guest security, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
