Requested a room cleaning and came back to this
    Tawfic K.

I travel for a living and am currently a silver elite member of Marriott Bonvoy but this was a first for me. Requested a room clean and returned back to my room to my bed nicely made but with disgusting sheets under the covers including blood stains!! The general managers response was "this sometimes happens" and had no concern what so ever. A normal response would have been I'm so sorry about this, we try to hold our hotel to the highest standards... but not this manager! What a joke!! Do not stay in this old disgusting hotel

Courtyard by Marriott is on my list of hotels for business travel and this location met my expectations on many levels - no one is perfect, but delivering consistent customer service and amenities forgives a lot of imperfections. Check-in Process - Exceptional (thank you Flor for fixing my rewards). Condition of Grounds & Entrance - Clean and Orderly. Elevators - Super Fast although it's only 5 floors so (2) works well Accommodations (Riverview 5th Floor) Clean, comfortable, good lighting, lots of electrical receptacles, nice bedding and sitting area plus the balcony was a nice touch. Food - Great Breakfast - Starbucks (two thumbs up). Price - Good Value. Parking - Lot of spaces near entrance. Noise - There is still renovations going on as of August 2019 but the hours are managed so it wasn't a factor. Staff - Very friendly, well trained, professional and very accommodating. Check-out - Painless just walk away - they will email your receipt. I'd definitely stay again when in the area...

Exceptional service!! Never have I had such good service from hotel staff. From the front desk to the housekeepers, everyone was so friendly and helpful! Room was great, pool was great, access to Riverwalk was nice. But it was the staff that made our visit truly memorable.

Overall, it's a nice place. First hotel I've stayed at where you have to pay for coffee though. Also, here is the view from room 201. Great for happy hour, hosting friends, and wondering why they gave you this room when the hotel is clearly not full. Haha. Oh well, encourages you to get out of the room right after you wake up.

VERY Disappointing, especially for a Marriott property! The facility was dirty and in disrepair. There was a lot of blood and urine stains on both the furniture and floor; there is much more than the attached photos.

Courtyard Bradenton, bradenton nov 23-25, 2018 Stayed at this hotel for two nights for my great-nieces competition. The place is off the beaten path, a bit away from food places but close to the convention center where the event was. The lady who took care of us when we checked in was extremely rude and unfriendly. Checked us in, handed over the keys and nothing more. We were in shock because that's not Marriott culture. The following day we ran into her again and asked her for places to eat breakfast. Surprisingly she was pleasant and talkative. She gave ya a couple of suggestions and her personal favorite. The hotel is modern and clean. Our room was espacios, airy, and it had a partial view of the bay. Large bathroom, comfortable beds. Really nice stay. Very happy Would we stay here again?? Yes!!!

The 4 most important considerations in a hotel for me is location, cleanliness in lobby & room, room service and cost. This hotel is getting 3 starts only because the location is tremendous when going to the convention center. Otherwise ... My daughter, infant grandson and myself checked into this hotel on a Thursday to stay until Saturday (I had made reservations). The location was grand and the hotel seemed clean. Upon check-in I was given a bit of an attitude, very minor, by the desk attendant but it was 10pm and she may have had a rough evening so I ignored it. The room seemed ideal. Clean and good layout. When I returned the cart to the lobby after unloading our luggage I even told the front desk everything looked great. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with bronchitis right before our convention so I knew I was going to sleep on the couch and give my family the bedroom to sleep. There was no extra blanket to be found so I had to take the bedspread off the bed to use as a cover on Thursday evening. The night was a success and we headed out for Friday. Upon our return we discovered quite a different room. There were no towels whatsoever. My daughter's sheets (bed on the left) were all completely on the ground. Still tucked in but not in the bed - they were pulled out the side and laying on the floor. No photo does not show that. And the empty bed I was using as a linen closet was...untidy. Picture has been uploaded. The thin spread was jammed behind the pillows. We had to rectify not having towels. We called the front desk explaining our lack of linens and asked for bath towels, wash clothes and one hand towel. The response was quite fast but the angry face on the young women who knocked on our door when I opened up was surprising. She said, "Here. Is there anything else you want,". I said no thank you and she walked away. I went to put up the towels and discovered she had not brought what we asked for. So we called front desk again explaining the dabacle but being light hearted and apologizing for being a pain in their bum. Again, almost as sudden a knock at the door and that unhappy face which never smiled in either trip held out towels and a bath mat saying there is all they had. No smile. No apology. And walked away. Upon check out on Saturday when asked if everything was satisfactory with our stay I mentioned the towels and the clearly unhappy housekeeper. The front desk said, "I know exactly who you are talking about. She always has a bad attitude," while smiling and raising her eyebrows. I asked why they would keep an employee like that and she said, "I don't know what the motivation is of HR to keep an employee like that." She said, "How about I buy you a cup of coffee." I say no thank you because I don't drink coffee and she said oh too bad. Apparently offering to buy me a tea or soft drink crosses the line on apologizing. Ha Ha Food for thought. With attitudes like that how do I really know if I was sleeping on clean sheets to begin with? With a simple I am so sorry none of your towels were returned would have helped the situation. And made me forget the front desk attitude on check-in. But now I put it all together and question everything. Sounds exaggerated doesn't it? Or does it? Aren't I the consumer here paying for a facility and customer service? It would appear they believe I am at their mercy.

Picture of the hospitality we received of a joint on our "clean" balcony and "river view" that we paid extra for!

In minutes of walking into our room, my husband noticed a joint on "freshly" cleaned balcony. We immediately notified the front desk, who in their defense, apologized. However, the front attendant, Michael, assured us that this issue would be taken care of. After a three hour car ride to get here, my husband and I thought we would grab a quick bite and the issue would be resolved. That was not the case. So much for a nonsmoking room. While the hotel was nice enough to do an early Check-in and while know things can be a miss, makes you wonder how "clean" this property really is.....

Since my prior experience was great, I decided to book a little weekend getaway with my boyfriend to show off the establishment. I called to book our reservation and described IN DEPTH the suite I stayed in previously. I'm unsure if it's just Hampton Inn or all Hilton hotels, but the booking was done through a call center. The call center wasn't a problem, but the outcome upon arrival was. I called to confirm our reservation with the front desk to which I was laughed at (I believe her name was Rebecca). I hung up immediately because I've never experienced such condensation in my life for the most simplest of questions. We almost cancelled our trip right then and there because of the blatant disrespect and arrogance. Mind you, I described IN DEPTH the previous suite i've stayed in. Explain to me how we were placed in a small room with no microwave, fridge, and no garbage bags for the bins. We were pissed! $520 dollars for two nights in a room that we didn't even request. But wait there's more... We were able to get moved to a "suite", aka the same room with a microwave and refrigerator. The TV options were minimal (the times we could get it to work), still no garbage bags, and extremely cramped. Morning rolls around... My boyfriend couldn't even drink the coffee. He relayed to me that the hot breakfast looked "inedible", so he opted for a grab n go yogurt that wasn't even cold. We left the morning after. It was that bad. My entire childhood has been hampton Inn's and It's so beyond disappointing that a Hampton with so much potential (location, history, etc.) could be so careless. Do better.

This stay was for a quick overnight work trip. I arrived pretty late -- completely exhausted and starving after a three-hour drive -- but the hotel was easy to find with GPS, parking was simple, and I was greeted right away by two very polite front desk associates. The lobby is beautifully maintained and nicely decorated. There's a coffee bar right when you walk in, which is a great touch (though I'm not sure how frequently it's replenished throughout the day). My room was on the second floor, and it was spotless. One of the reasons I love Home2 Suites is how spacious the rooms feel. It truly feels more like a mini apartment than a standard hotel room. There are so many functional spaces to set your things down without feeling cramped. I had a full-size bed, a couch, and a long counter that could easily serve as a workspace for two people at once. I especially appreciate having the option to prepare your own meals. When you travel often, sometimes you just want to stay in and not eat out for every single meal. The bathroom was roomy with amazing hot water -- exactly what I needed to relax my muscles after that long drive. I slept great, no noise issues at all, and woke up fully refreshed. I didn't try the breakfast because my boss had suggested we go out instead. My only general suggestion -- and this applies to many hotels -- would be to focus on serving more fresh, real breakfast options. When you're staying at a Hilton property, you expect quality across the board, including the food. Overall, this was a great stay, and I would absolutely return.

My husband had a conference, and I had a soccer game so it worked out. Got here a little later than expected so I called the front desk before arriving. The lady greeted me kindly and let me know she would be at the desk until later on. I was happy to hear because when I finally arrived, she was actually there. I was greeted with a warm smile and she quickly checked me in so we could get settled. I asked about some amenities I may need and she pointed me to the right direction. They have a washer and dryer, which is something I do use when I go on vacation. The actual room was spacious. Always a plus when it's a couple of people in the room. It was clean and maintained so throughout our stay. Overall great hotel. The only "complaint" I have is the mattress however I feel like this is common in most hotels. Wasn't the best mattress that I have ever laid on but it worked for the couple of nights I stayed.

As others have noted in their reviews, Ken and Jeff are constantly working to keep up this lovely family resort. It is clean and landscaped beautifully, and the rooms are just right! In our full kitchen, we stocked the refrigerator from the local Publix and made our breakfast and lunch, which we packed for the beach. Many guests chose to grill out as we saw when we would load up to go to a local restaurant for dinner, but we preferred eating out! On our first night at Hurricane Hanks restaurant down the road, we met up with a resident who offered us more ideas for restaurants for dinner. There's nothing like walking right out onto the beach to spend a morning watching the waves, seeing dolphins frolic, observing osprey catching their breakfast, and swimming in the water among schools of fish. Many of the guests knew each other from yearly vacations, and we have already made our reservation for next year! Anna Maria Island is quiet and family friendly. White Sands Resort offers shuffleboard and corn hole right next to the pool, but the best show is the sunset. On our first night, we were surprised to see how many lined the beach to see God's beauty, of course clapping at the end! Thank you to Ken, Jeff, Joy, and Esther for a wonderful stay.
