I visited and stayed here on April 30 through May 3, 2026. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating to me, my guide, and several of my friends who also had guide dogs. It was a very convenient location with several restaurants in walking distance as well as shopping. It was also very convenient to I 75 and not too far to the beach. Thank you so much for your friendly and professional service. The pool area was beautiful and very relaxing. We even had a place to hang out in the lobby with lots of seating and the breakfast was very convenient. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. We stayed during their renovations in August and I wouldn't recommend it. Their continental breakfast was served in their gym and was less than appetizing, the water in our shower had to run for at least 5 minutes to warm up enough to get in, one morning it was too hot and it wouldn't cool down even with handle in cold zone. The room was lovely and clean, cleaning staff were wonderful but front desk staff was less than helpful. Young girls at front desk on night shift flirting with young men there. Lots of construction noise after 8:00 am. Was very disappointed in our stay. read more

Stayed for 3 nights. With such a short stay, I leave the Do Not Disturb sign on my door and decline housekeeping. On the plus side- There was enough towels and TP to last 3 days Housekeeping never tried to enter the room Check in desk super friendly and supportive They actually have a nightlight in the bathroom On the downside - one of our light bulbs was burnt out The only Kleenex was in the bathroom The decor was weird. Great Hilton property. Great location right next to the ellenton outlets . tons of restaurants right around the corner. Hotel is located right off the highway. 20 minutes to Bradenton Beach. 20 minutes to Sarasota. The hotel is centrally located. The hotel is clean. The rooms are big comfortable. The hotel is very well maintained extremely clean. Microwave and fridge in each room. Best water pressure in the shower. All of your toiletries are included from shampoo to conditioner to shower gel to lotion. You don't need to bring a thing except yourselves in your clothes. The hotel staff is extremely customer service and driven and here to help you with whatever you need and make sure your stay is extremely comfortable. I spent two nights at this Hampton Inn when I was in town to return a guide dog puppy to the local guide dog school (Southeastern Guide Dogs). I checked in late on a Thursday evening and was greeted by Heather. She got me checked in, gave me a sign to hang on my door to let housekeeping know I had a service dog with me, and got me cold water bottles (and my dog room temp water bottles)! Our stay was great. There's a thermostat in the room, allowing you to adjust the temp. Breakfast was delicious and had a good variety. At the waffle bar, they always had plain vanilla waffle mix but rotated out a "flavored" mix (cinnamon roll on Friday morning, blueberry on Saturday morning). All the staff I encountered were friendly and pleasant. There's a gas station, the outlet mall, and plenty of restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel; but the hotel is set back enough from the main road that I never heard any traffic noise. On Friday I even got a call from the front desk asking if I needed room service or recommendations for meals, which I did not but still appreciated. The only "complaint" I had was that I couldn't get the inside shade to go all the way down. The outer one did, but for some reason the blackout shade wouldn't. I was on the first floor and occasionally got headlights/street light and I am already a light sleeper, so I needed it closed. But I put two pillows off the other bed in the window and it was not a big deal. Probably could have called the front desk for help, but it was an easy temporary fix for me for just two nights, so I didn't see much need to do that. There was a laminated letter with the managers info and some other info on there, in case it was needed. A nice touch and, had I needed assistance, it would have been easy to get it. Shower was hot, everything was clean. Next time I am here to turn in my next guide dog puppy to Southeastern Guide Dogs, I'll definitely be staying here! read more

We checked in and the lobby was dingy and dirty was hard to breathe, when we got in the room there was a Huge cockroach (at least 3 inches) on the wall and it ran into the A/C. We talked to the management, they offered moving us from the second floor to the fourth, as if that bug won't reach to us there or be everywhere in the hotel, and the cockroaches were common thing in Florida. No way we could have stayed there, front desk said that that bug wasn't cockroach it was something else that flies and comes in from the gutter. This Hotel is disgusting, Nasty!! I stayed here while waiting on our house to be ready for move in. 37 days. I can not think of any better place I could have picked. Paul in the sales department was so helpful in accommodating my long stay. Peggy and Shaun at the front desk was expecting me and welcomed me with "Welcome Home!" When I arrived. Just a fantastic group of people! With Covid being a high concern it didn't concern me much with their following the CDC recommendations on mask wearing and cleanliness. Hampton Inn & Suites Ellenton/Brandenton, FL Stayed at this particular Hampton Inn for one night (June 16th, 2017). The hotel is perfectly located near gas station, stores and lots of dining options. We were greeted promptly and given our room. Our room was on the 5th floor and was quite comfortable, nice and clean: it had 2 beds, fridge, microwave, desk, free wifi, large bathroom and lots of amenities and coffee maker. The only issue was the lack of clear explanation on how to use their complimentary wifi, the front desk person just gave us verbal instructions and sounded a bit upset when we called back lost. Other than that, nice complimentary hot breakfast, lots of choices, lots of seating space. Overall, great option and a nice quick one night stay. Would we go back?? Maybe. read more

This spot is serving meal kits as well as offering delivery during #COVID. I'm so glad! Of course nothing beats the in-person experience but delivery is a great second option right now. The food was a little cold, but I understand this is a new operation for them. I'm thinking of booking the suite with the jacuzzi in it to write another amazing review. We checked in here 3 days ago. I finally went to the customer service desk to ask why we haven't had our room cleaned yet. We have the card that hangs in the doorknob... one side basically says do not disturb, the other side says.. "we're out relaxing. We'd put it in the latter and nothing. When I asked, the desk clerk said that if either side is hanging in the door then the room will not be cleaned??? Never encountered that before. Would have been nice to be informed of that from the beginning. Also, he never gave us our wifi info. When I asked he did tell me but I shouldn't have to ask. When I left talking to him I heard him say "gheesh " !! Seriously? I am the customer. He is in hospitality! When we checked in, he should have given us all this information. Instead, I had to ask, and I got attitude! I will get his name and post it. For now, I hope his managers see this.... He is a fat white man that should not be in hospitality. From food to shopping this location is close to all of it. Very friendly staff as they acknowledged me each time I entered the building. They still had USA Today's out even at 6:00pm in the evening. Nice fitness center and my room had the typical Micro-Fridge combination. This location was $20.00 cheaper than the Hampton Inn in Sarasota. read more

Absolutely the worst stay in my 30 years as a Hilton elite member. Entire property smells of marijuana and people standing around entry ways smoking (I have 2 children and a pregnant wife on this trip). Our refrigerator did not work, bathroom was molded and disgusting. Breakfast was suppose to stop at 10. At 930 there was little food left and refused to replenish. Manager went into our room while we were at the beach without permission because someone complained of a barking dog, whom was in the room next to ours, not ours. They locked us out of our room and refused to give my wife a key to the room (is it 1950?) My kids sat on the floor in front of our room for 2 hours while she argued with the incompetent, rude and demeaning front desk woman. Manager refused to speak to my wife. We packed up in the middle of our 4 day Christmas vacation and left for a Marriott because it was that bad. Not only did we leave for this trip, we are leaving Hilton forever. Employees were not wearing masks as instructed by CDC. read more

Stayed here while visiting the area for Spring Training. The staff was great from the time I made the reservation until we checked out. We sent a box ahead and it was waiting in our room when we arrived. Our room was comfortable and clean. It was spacious and nicely furnished. It was a great convenience to have both a refrigerator and a microwave in our room. The hotel gym was a great asset and always kept clean and ready for the next guest. Checked into this hotel for a couple of nights. It's impossible to work from here as the internet constantly would connect and then disconnect. The chair in my room was so filthy that I wouldn't sit in it wearing a hazmat suit. One of the two double beds was dirty with a black stain on it. We stay here only once a year, but this time we we're pleased to see that they had a renovation since our last stay. The hotel is close to the interstate, but in a secluded area. Close to restaurants and the factory outlet mall. The breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. A bottle of water is a nice touch at check in also. The rooms, lobby and pool area were clean and we'll kept. Worth the money for what you get. We will stay again next year on our Florida trip. read more

I've come here once a year for four years now as part of a figure skating event, and this is a very nice place. In terms of Florida tourism, I'm not sure it's really near any "attractions" per se, but if you're looking to go to the Ellenton outlet mall or the skating rink, it's just perfect. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They also have free, yummy breakfast in the lobby. One time, a few years ago, I was getting ready for bed here, when I found a palmetto bug in my room. It happens, it's Florida. But, being a Californian, I flipped out at the giant insect flying around the room and I ran to the front desk. Even though it was past 10 pm, the staff had an exterminator there within minutes to take care of the bug and make sure there were no others. The staff at the Hampton went out of their way to make sure that I felt comfortable and bug-free. :) read more

I stayed at this hotel for my medical school interview over at LECOM-Bradenton. I really enjoy staying at Hampton Inns. You get good, friendly service; free wi-fi; a 24/7 fitness center; and a hot breakfast with every stay. This location was pretty good. I arrived 2am and the night manager was very welcoming and got me checked in very quickly (I guess he noticed how tired a looked after my long flight and drive over). My room was clean and pretty spacious. I had a full bath, plus an additional jacuzzi room. That was pretty nifty. The beds were softer than I prefer, but comfy nonetheless. And I loved the large desk I had to work on. The continental breakfast isn't much, but it's warm and free. You get your choice of various pastries, fruits, yogurt, juice, and coffee. Also, they offer scrambled eggs and rotate either biscuits and gravy or some bagel topper-meat thing with ham. And they have a waffle maker. Gotta love a fresh, hot waffle in the morning! The location of this Hampton Inn was pretty convenient too. It's right next to a gas station and a Ruby Tuesday. Across the street was a small shopping plaza with a Checkers and (I forgot which chains) a couple convenience-type stores. Also, it's right next to the outlets for shopping! As a girl, that is truly appreciated. Although I didn't get to do as much shopping as I would like since I spent most of my time either prepping for my interview or at the school for my actual interview. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Especially if you're around the area to interview at LECOM-Bradenton. =) read more

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would. We are here on Spring Break and my boyfriend works at a Hilton back home so with his discount we got an amazing deal, but it's well worth the asking price. From the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff everything has been amazing. We have 2 more days here and the last 5 have been spectacular. The breakfast they offer in the morning is going above and beyond. You will always see staff around cleaning and tidying up. You can tell the staff here is treated well because of how proud they are of the hard work that they do. This location is also located within walking distance to a lot of things such as the outlet mall. I walk there every morning after breakfast to get Starbucks. We would absolutely stay here again. Comfortable, Clean and Convenient is the best way to describe this hotel. All staff are very friendly and helpful. All day coffee available with warm chocolate chip cookies at 6 p.m. Hotel lobby smelled nice; the breakfast area is clean and comfortable with a terrific breakfast buffet. The rooms have plenty of electrical outlets available for cell phone, ipad and laptop with easy Internet access and very comfy beds. Close to restaurants and Ellenton Outlet Mall with easy access to Bradenton Beach, St. Pete Beach and I75 for trips up to Tampa or down to Sarasota. I highly recommend this hotel. read more

I stayed here for 3 nights and found the hotel to be fine, nothing to write home about. I really liked the location, you can walk to a mini mall behind the hotel and the outlets, and they are worth visiting. The hotel is clean, I stayed on the 1st floor for 2 nights and the rooms are old and need to be updated. My 3rd night was on the 2nd floor and the room was large, clean and appeared to have been recently updated. Front desk staff is not very friendly or accomodating and if you ask a question they are rather hostile, appearing to not want to be bothered or disturbed. The breakfast was good and overall a nice hotel. read more

As I'm usually more of a complimenter than a complainer, this is awkward, but I can't contain my fury. This hotel is a disaster. We arrived to discover they had messed up our two night reservation, and rather than comfort us or try to help, they basically told us we were screwed. They "found us" a room for the first night but we would have to leave after that. To add insult to injury, the continued to lie to us, about all things great and small. After an hour call with corporate guest relations, we were booked for the second night at another location, which was not ideal. Magically, this place could suddenly accommodate us for the second night, at which point front desk staff literally said " I told you so!" (No, actually, she told someone else in our group, expecting that person to comfort me?). Of course, we were required to relocate within to hotel, to a room that had a broken refrigerator and a shower head that fell off while I was in it. But truly the worst part of all this was the GM, who managed to make the refund of their erroneous charge seem like a favor. She also defended the actions of her staff rather than owning their behavior. It doesn't feel like an apology when you have to tell someone they owe you an apology. Best thing about our stay was the charming, friendly and super cheerful Don, who greeted everyone at breakfast with a warm smile and hearty good morning. read more

The worst part is that the FIRE ALARM went off at 4 AM and we had to evacuate the building. Very inconvenient!!! Great stay at the Hampton! Manager at the front desk was extremely cheery, even at 10pm when I arrived. The hotel is clean and the atmosphere feels like home. Rooms are quiet, beds are comfy, and treated with respect by staff in terms of cleanliness. Great stay! I will be back soon! read more
