Made a reservation weeks in advance to walk in around 10pm for check in and be told they had no room available. The employee made it very clear he did not care: "I'm only part time, two days a week, so not my problem. I don't care if you're upset, and I'd just ignore you if you were. I have one room that says dirty in the system, but it looks clean to me... you can have that one or cancel your reservation; your choice." These were just a few horrific comments said to me, with my infant child at my side Another guest fortunately heard what was happening and came to my side, but then I found myself in tears with realizing the absolute rudeness and inhumane behavior of the Marriott employee, and felt disgusted when placed in a dirty room. I made a reservation and they hiccuped and didn't have one available- told me other rooms were available, but additional fees would be necessary. I checked in with no problems. The lobby of this place was nice. It's looks as if the hotel is still relatively new. My room was almost clean however I did find rice on the couch from the previous guest and several strands of hair all through the room on the floor. I really wish all hotels would just stop putting carpet in the rooms. Anyway I also asked for an additional blanket and I was told they didn't have anymore because the hotel was full. The extra blanket in the bag was dirty. Overall the stay was okay. If you are passing through it's ok. It would have been nice if they had a pool but the hotel is surrounded by plenty of shopping & restaurants. Downtown Savannah is not far either read more

I stayed here at this Marriott hotel near the Savannah international Airport for one night in mid February 2023 because it was close to the airport, it's a Marriott, and it had airport shuttle service. It is pretty cool that the city of Savannah had its own airport. No need to drive from Atlanta or Greenville, SC. With that said, I found this Marriott hotel property on Hotels.com and decided to book this hotel for one night. It was a Marriott, so you had a pretty good sense of taste anyway. The prices here were average to the point where it is pretty good anyway. Upon arrival around mid afternoon on a Sunday, I noticed that the hotel property was situated next to restaurants and a small commercial hub nearby within walking distance. Easy for food options and just easy logistics when the hotel has its own airport shuttle service. While I arrived here around 2pm, I asked for early check in but normal check in was at 3pm, so I waited and had lunch while watching ESPN on their restaurant seating next to the front desk. It was pretty cozy and ended up getting checked in around 3pm. I didn't use any other hotel amenities, especially when their pool is for seasonal use. Apparently it was still winter there and the pool was closed, even in the south! Still, the hotel was situated nicely and priced around $150/night, which was sort of reasonable for the budget friendly traveler. Definitely was enjoyable, although sad because vacation was coming to an end. The overall experience here at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel - Savannah Airport was nice and decent. I did enjoy the speedy airport shuttle service at 4:30am where I thought I was the only one needing the service, but as it turns out there was a few others who showed up along with me that morning. Too bad I didn't get a chance to experience their breakfast (complementary or otherwise) here at this Marriott, but I ended up grabbing breakfast at the airport before jetting out of Savannah. The service here was pretty good and professional while being friendly. Quick and easy. I did enjoy the layout of the hotel lobby. Very posh and clean, as it should be for a nice hotel brand like Marriott. The room I stayed in for the night was typical hotel room vibe. It was large enough to maneuver around the room. It even came with a small chair with a reclining action. The room itself was good and functional. The Wifi worked pretty well and the bed itself was pretty good, although having a 3:45am wake up call to fly home doesn't help to really thoroughly enjoy a blissful night's sleep at this hotel, but that's life. The hotel had a small mini fridge but no microwave, which is odd, since alot of properties have both fridge and microwave in their rooms. And so, if you feel the need to come to Savannah, GA or just passing thru, consider coming to the Courtyard by Marriott hotel near the Savannah airport. It's safe and convenient for anyone and everyone who wishes to crash here for the night or more. Quite nice and refreshing. This Courtyard by Marriott is located near the Savannah regional airport. It's address is 419 Pooler Parkway in Pooler, GA, just outside of the city of Savannah. Like many hotels in the industry, they accept major credit cards, and usually online bookings are preferred. As far as parking goes, there is plenty of parking here since there's a commercial center built alongside the hotel, so there's plenty of options for food nearby within walking distance. Not sure if you need a parking pass or something to designate overnight parking, so best to check with the hotel if you decide to park here. I got dropped off by a friend, so I didn't have a car. Not sure if there's local public transportation from Savannah airport to here, but best thing to do is to call the hotel to arrange for the hotel shuttle to come pick you up. It's only a few minutes from the airport to the hotel. For the most part though, it was a nice stay without the bells and whistles, but comfortable enough to be happy with the stay. We picked this location because of the proximity to i95. Easy to reserve in the Marriott app and our room was ready upon arrival. Check-in was fast and easy. The parking lot is spacious and well-lit. The lobby is modern and sleek. We had a room on the first floor. The decor is modern and the beds are comfy. Rooms are equipped with a Keurig and fridge. There are big walk-in showers (no tubs) with big bottle of Paul Mitchell shampoo and soap. Everything was very clean and sanitized and we felt safe traveling during Covid. The staff is very professional and welcoming. There are also many restaurants , a Starbucks , Publix and outlet mall nearby . The location is great for a quick overnight. read more

Stayed in room #310 Greeted instantly by Erica and check-in was easy. Upon entering the building though, it did not smell clean. Entering the room, we were disappointed that the room had carpet! The bed linens were free from wear and tear. The sofa was fabric and had visible stains. Being that I am a hotel snob, my husband convinced me to go with the flow as this was the hotel designated for our family reunion. The next morning we went down to order breakfast only to be told by the cook that there wasn't a cashier, so we were unable to place an order. This explanation made no sense at all, but we were in Georgia....what more could we expect. Here's another shocker...we were told that since we were staying more than 2 nights, we'd have to request cleaning service! To our surprise, they entered our room on the second morning to tidy up the room. WTH is going on?? The shower seal on the glass panel was leaking and as we were packing to leave for the airport we determined that the A/C was leaking as well. SMH... Ohhhhh, did I mention that my fuzzy socks that I wear when walking on the floor became full of blonde strands of hair?? Evidence that the carpet was not vacuumed! YUCK!!!! Would I stay here again? I booked this hotel online using my Marriott Bonvoy app. The app wanted me to check in online which I did. The app asked for your arrival time and I said 2 pm. I arrived to the hotel around 2:50 pm. The girl at the front desk told me my room was not ready and pointed to a sign on the wall that check in is at 3:00 pm. Why are you asking for my arrival time if it means nothing????? The girl struggled with what to do and tried to get some help from the two other girls behind the counter (one holding a baby). They were really no help. I stood there for 5 minutes and finally was told my room would be ready in 10 minutes which it was. For my trouble they gave me a card good for 10.00 worth of food and beverages which was very nice of them. The room was fine, nice and clean but around 4 pm the internet went out. It was out the entire evening or at least until I went to bed around 10:30. The front desk was of no real help only saying they were working on it. I went down for coffee the next morning and was the only person in line. The girl behind the counter at the "Bistro" was half asleep. She walked by me several times without acknowledging that I was there. She finally stood in front of me to take my order. No good morning greeting and she just mumbled something. She got my coffee and I handed her the card for the credit and she had no idea what it was. She did not apply it to my bill but said she would later. I have my doubts. Relatively new hotel, which leads to plusses and minuses. Pros: - Nice room layout - Good bed and mattress - Free parking and good location to local shops and restaurants. Cons: - Thin walls and depending on room location can hear outside noise from adjacent restaurant. - NO place to smoke. No bench, table, etc. Nice courtyard, but for what??? We were at the Courtyard for our family reunion. We had our family banquet Saturday night. We utilized the banquet space and catering. We paid $43 per person and had 143 people to attend. There was no professional wait staff to assist to our needs. We ate off of plastic plates and utensils. The food was not properly prepared. The chicken was not fully cooked it was still raw to the bone. There was no type of seasoning or indication that a professional chef had prepared this food. I was very disappointed. The collard greens came from a can and not seasoned. The tables were not set with dinner glasses and proper utensils with cloth napkins. My family was dressed semi formal and I felt like we should have received that level of service with the amount of money we spent. I would not recommend anyone to use your banquet service. We were told that we would receive breakfast with our room rate which was $134.00 a night and without breakfast it would be $119.00. We went with the rate of $134.00 with a breakfast ($15 additional) what we were served was not a breakfast and if it was intended to be a continental breakfast that's what should have been communicated, but the contract stated breakfast and when you are from the south a breakfast means hot food to include grits, eggs, a breakfast meat and other items. We could have taken the $119 rate and used the extra $15 to get a hot breakfast at IHOP. I had a great time with my family but the food service did put a sour taste on our weekend. read more

By far one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. My company booked me through Liberty Travel and paid upfront for a 1 night reservation (which stated confirmed and room guaranteed. When I arrived, I was asked if I did a mobile check in. I had stated that I had not, I had just gotten there. I gave the girl At the front desk my information, she looked up my reservation and stated it was cancelled. I had asked WHO had cancelled it? She said, it was the reservation department. When I had asked her to call them, she said they would not talk to her, she turned the phone around and dialed the number for me. I spoke to reservations which stated the cancellation was done IN HOUSE and the girl did not care to hear that ( I refer to "the girl" as her attitude and not wearing a uniform or name tag would be the only way to refer to her) I asked if I could speak to a manager, she said there was none. After I called and spoke to Mariott Bonvoy, she finally broke and said ohh I have a room. She proceeded to check me into room 301. As I went upstairs to the room And opened the door, the room was a mess, not cleaned and trash everywhere. I went back downstairs and asked if this was some Kind of joke? She just looked at me. I laid the key down on the counter- Teri the shuttle bus driver in a condescending tone, ohh I'm Sooo sorry there's nothing we can do. Really??? This was my first time visiting the "Bistro Bar" at the new Courtyard Savannah Airport. The food, staff, and atmosphere were amazing! There were several televisions in the bistro so I could watch sports while having a bite to eat. This was a welcomed way to unwind after a very long day! Also, Allie was more than accommodating and even allowed me to control the television channels. As a whole, the entire staff was attentive all night. They also have a great selection of beer and wine. Everything from your favorite domestics to imports that you can't find at the local pub. My favorite was the Sweet Water 420.
