I didn't have a great experience before I'm so glad to have gone back. The Cream & Crimson pizza is delicious. The combination of red potatoes & feta & alfredo? So unexpectedly good. Give it a try, you won't regret it. The sandwich is messy, could do with some mayo on it, in my opinion. But it's good! I realized my pizza was wrong and so I took it back in for them to tell me it was correct and I'm the one who made the mistake so i made my way home and then when i opened it at home it still didn't seem right so I called and asked what I actually ordered since it didn't show on the email receipt and after he read it off with an annoyed tone I asked if it could be remade completely understanding that I made a mistake in the ordering process and the absolute joke of a human being on the phone had no compassion whatsoever and just said no. The ordering process when doing a half pizza IS CONFUSING and I don't understand how I ordered what I did but then i realized toppings were missing from my pizza so I called back to say at this point it definitely deserves to be remade and i was told they were out. Then after that I proceeded to ask why I wasn't made aware and I was hung up on. I'd love to be able to leave zero stars, even negative stars would be great;) Pizza really isn't all that bad but the tasteless people to go along with it make it not worth the late nite bite. I'd rather go to Mickeyds on tillotson on a busy college Friday night and sit in a 2 hour drive thru line than deal with people like that. Can you go to Ball State and not eat here? No. This is the pizza you need at 3AM and the bread sticks you need at any time of the day. They have the "Big Deal" which comes with a pizza, bread sticks, and 2 drinks. The cups are yours to keep and stock your rental house with. I built a throne of cups before I gave them away to future generations. When you have a place open till 3 or 4AM you know it's going to be the difference between a good day, and the worst morning of your life. It is also totally appropriate to order here at 3AM with the other insomniacs and watch the zombies walk home. Do you have an RA shift? Eat this. Do you work night desk? Eat this. Do you hate yourself and want to eat the Big Deal alone? Eat this, and love yourself. All said, the pizza is actually pretty good. The bread sticks, though, are beyond words. You'll need some time after you leave Muncie to deal with the loss of those sticks. Get a group together, talk it out, then plan a trip back to get some. The staff are always fast and nice. A couple of months ago, I wanted pizza and as it was so late, Cousin Vinny's was the only option. I'd never heard of them but, why not. Ordering was easy, delivery was fast, quality was excellent, taste was drool-worthy! I just got another delivery and am in Za Heaven. The only suggestion I have is to put a sprinkling of cheese on top of all those delicious and generous toppings so they don't fall off so easily. We haven't been back since my last encounter with them. I ordered through EatStreets. My food wasn't delivered after 45 minutes. So I called and the manager told me the driver delivered my food already. I said "no she didn't" the manager said the employee said the "little old lady took a while but finally answered the door". I told the manager there is no old lady at my house. Anyhow she refunded my money. Still no food. The next day my neighbor comes over with all my food from Cousin Vinnys which includes wings, breadsticks, pizza and two drinks. My neighbor said she went out to leave and it was sitting on her porch. So the driver lied! And left my food at my neighbors and told her manager some old lady answered the door and she delivered it. I called the place back to tell them and the manager on duty acted like it was no big deal. I got no call or nothing from the driver saying she had issues. I've loved getting CVs pizza for quite some time. But the past 2 to 3 times I've ordered it my order has either been late and cold, wrong or missing something, or the people answering the phone have been very rude to me. It pains me to see this because I really do like their pizza. But the service has really backslid. There is far too much competition for pizza in Muncie to let your service stoop so low. Oddly satisfying cheap yet good pizza. That's honestly the best way I can describe it. The deals are good. Less than $6 for a medium one topping, which is great if you're on a budget or ordering for a crowd. The pizza is mildly greasy, but I enjoy it that way. Papa Johns and all the other chains get old after a while, so this place is a nice addition to the pizza scene in Muncie. FYI: this place is strictly carryout and delivery. No dine-in. I order from this place more than I'd like to admit (perhaps that's why the delivery driver brought me a free cup and told me a very funny joke), so I thought I should probably write them a review. Firstly, I come from a foodie background having grown up in Frederick, MD and having lived in Wilmington, NC for 4 years. While I was pursuing my bachelor's degree in NC, I worked for a gourmet pizzeria (they literally imported their water from NY to make classic New York style crust...that kind of gourmet...), so essentially, I'm really really picky about pizza. After moving here for graduate school, I'd lost hope in Muncie food given there's virtually nothing here other than chains, but I'm so happy I ordered from this place!!! No where else in Muncie is worth ordering pizza other than here - and I mean that wholeheartedly! The topping ingredients seem very fresh, cheese is robust with flavor, and their crust is just the right amount of chewy, yet still crispy and thin-ish (just how I like it). Although, I will say their spinach is weird - don't order that. But, my hat's off to you, Cousin Vinny. Way to make central Indiana food not so entirely boring! I ordered a Crimson Pizza with NO BACON, mind you I'm a vegetarian! Then I receive the pizza and there's bacon on it! I call them to explain the problem and they said to give us the pizza back and we can give you another one but were low on drivers! Its not my fault they gave me the wrong pizza. I already took a bite of it not thinking bacon was on it. Waited an hour initially for my order, which isn't the issue I know they're busy. But the delivery driver calls and says she's pulling up. I work inside a high school dorm, so I head down to the front desk area. I stand there for 20 minutes and no one buzzed the doorbell to enter the building and I asked the front desk worked if anyone had rang and they said no. So then I call the store and tell them what happened and told them that to get into the building they would need to ring that doorbell so the front desk worker could ring them in. The store is 8 minutes away and they tell me they're sending her back. I wait another 20 minutes. My job is to supervise and safeguard the students amongst other things so I can't be sitting waiting outside for her obviously but I've never known a delivery driver to make someone come outside to pick up there instead of them ringing a doorbell or coming inside or at least to the door. So I finally just pop my head outside real quick and see her getting back into her car talking crap about me and getting ready to leave again. I just caught her attention and asked if the delivery was for me(Mitch) and she very angrily said yes, gave me the stuff and just left. I have never had a delivery driver not at least ring a doorbell or something. I can't be sitting waiting watching the front door when I have other responsibilities so how am I supposed to know she's just standing at the front door and then to hear her openly talking poorly of me to her bosses I assume just looks really really bad. This was all around a terrible experience and by the time I got the pizza it was barely above room temperature. Really disappointed. read more

The pizza is good and a very good price, but the service is terrible. I call on businesses, and provide meals when I do education, so I had ordered for two different meals in one day. The first delivery arrived 15 minutes late, the second was 20 minutes late. Both drivers were pleasant, but I was frustrated that I had scheduled delivery at a specific time, and both drivers were so late. The first driver didn't bring a receipt but said she would bring it back or to my hotel. She never did. I called in and told them I was at the hotel and they could deliver my receipt, or they could just bring it with my second order. With my second order, I asked that they bring the receipt and bring the receipt from earlier, both in my order instructions online, and when I called to confirm the order (since they were so late, I had to call to make sure they were still coming, and the driver hadn't even left yet). Again, I didn't get either of my receipts. I had to go out of my way the next day to drive to the store get my receipts. When I arrived, there were 2 men working, but they never looked up. Before the santa-looking man noticed me at the counter, the phone rang and he yelled out "go to hell". Then when he answered the phone, evidently it was an employee. He asked them to come in early to help, and he complained about the large order they had scheduled 6 hours later. Clearly the employee said they couldn't, and he became upset. When he hung up, in a whiny, mocking voice he said "I have class, I can't come in", then announced that it was ridiculous. Then he finally noticed me, after I had been standing at the counter for 5 minutes, waiting. When I told him what I needed, he never apologized, he acted as if I was a nuisance, and handed me one of my receipts. When I explained that I needed the other receipt, he acted like it was huge deal, because he had to print it (even though I had clearly requested my receipt when I ordered). When he handed me the receipt, he walked away without saying a word. I noticed the total didn't match what I had paid, and I pointed it out. He very abruptly said, "it doesn't include the tip, and there is no way for me to print that". I explained I needed it for reimbursement, so he grabbed one receipt and wrote the tip amount by hand, and pushed it back across the counter. I explained that I needed that information on both receipts, so he grabbed the other receipt from under my hand, wrote the tip amount by hand, and shoved it back across the counter. Not once did this man apologize that they had not provided me receipts in the first place, and he seemed put out by the fact that I needed receipts for the nearly $300 in pizza I had ordered. Needless to say, I will find another restaurant for the next 6 meals I have scheduled in the area this month (which will total nearly $1,000 in business). read more
