I've gone to couture med spa for several years with excellent service and staff. It was amazing. As of late, there's been a mass exodus of amazing longstanding staff that were more like family. Sadly, any location is now booked 1-2 months in advance. Ridiculous. Front staff is replaced with less than competent staff. My visit today was a reflection of this. I waited weeks for my appointment today. Today's appointment should've been straightforward. It was anything but. I was taken to the back by Kristen Martinez, Assistant Practice Administrator. If you are unfortunate, like me, to get her, talk very slow, don't use big words. She probably won't get it then either but.. one has to try. Big words definitely throw her .. I don't know how else to get her to understand relatively easy concepts. . Forget it, just go to the front and explain your issue to someone else. It worked for me. Kristen in the room didn't know if I needed to be numbed for a procedure (I had to ask her) what order to numb me (they added mouthwash as an extra step) then doesn't listen to my question about the product that's banked, instead quotes another product in a rude tone like she's the authority of what I'm going to do. She's clearly in the wrong industry. This is a beauty industry. I don't HAVE to go there to spend my money. They DO have competition. Karina can't process big words or minimally complex business issues. I'd not have her run a flea circus let alone a lucrative med spa.. well, what was once a lucrative med spa.... My Rather simple ask "of information and a break down to a minimally complex issue, was quickly resolved with another person. Kristin could not get it through her head simple math and location. She should've been embarrassed. And I do believe she was in front of her coworkers and thus leading to the call cancelling my membership. She couldn't do math or keep up. Her responsibility's there should be on the lines of sweeping floors. Not finance and problem solving. .It was great. Competent people are awesome to work with. After I got my issue resolved I left. Karina then calls to tell me she's cancelled my membership (thank you! You beat me to it. I don't tolerate Incompetence) then your email was poorly written to try and hurt me? I highly recommend Couture Med Spa - Oviedo. I signed up about a month ago and have had a great experience so far. Everyone has been great to deal with- in particular Summer, Mercedes, Tiffany and Claudia have been lovely. Tiffany has done the majority of my treatments and I always feel comfortable and well taken care of. Claudia especially has been wonderful, she is very accommodating and kind. They really have gone above and beyond to help me make the most of my membership. I do "solo" parenting the majority of the time and have limited child care/help. So their kindness means even more to me than it might to most others. Sharing as I was on the fence about signing up for a long time. l've only been going a short time but my husband says he is already seeing a difference in my skin. I've done IPL, fractionals, B12 shot and laser hair removal so far (all on several places). I think there's good value in the Empower membership that I have. After 8ish treatments with little success, paid another company another $2k to properly do the job, Dysport / Botox units were inconsistent every time I'd go (~3 months regularly). I know these things can fluctuate but current provider never had the high/low swings like CMS. Facility is nice and clean but office staff has a lot of turnover. read more

Miscommunication review . I am a travel nurse who bought a tattoo removal on Groupon and called to schedule my appointment letting staff know I was a new client but my last laser removal treatment was 12/18/20 in OKC, OK. The staff member taking the phone call said she was going to clarify to see if it was okay to get another removal session 6 weeks apart. She told me yes it's allowed and booked me for my appointment. I arrived to my appointment at 4 and completed the new client form . It took them an hour to tell me that's I was misinformed and they cannot do anything for me and would have to go through Groupon to get a refund. Unfortunately I will not be getting my money back to my card but Groupon bucks instead . Working 48 hours weeks I'm very much disappointed that I wasted my time here . Despite valid reasons for cancellation, you'll still have pay their monthly fee for a whole year because they won't let you cancel the membership. I have been a member for over a year and I have not seen any good results because their services are watered down. They are not using the lasers at full capacity. Love this local spa. I went because of a good deal on a groupon but after a couple of trips joined, that's the way to go. You get to try different laser treatments, facials, even a vitamin B shot. I had laser hair removal on my underarms and it worked alright except not fully. The staff (front desk, assistants, technician nurses) were all very pushy about their upsell and really couldn't explain the service, technique or tests they were administering. I purchased the service on Groupon. I was going to be in a different town, and called another location while I was undergoing my laser treatments (at that time I was satisfied with the service) to see if I could schedule laser hair for my legs. I explained that I already had a Groupon and they said I could at the same price, however I should pay them directly and not purchase another Groupon, because it is only 1 Groupon per vendor. So I did. I went in, had my legs done. At the second location they were much less pushy about selling additional services and their membership. When I went to the initial location for the next underarm treatment, they informed me I could not continue at both locations and accused me of being dishonest. At this point, the quality of service declined and the technician nurse was much less gentle. They were less friendly, and actually pretty rude. I explained the situation and that I was very upfront about the Groupon, but they still blamed me. Okay, I could go elsewhere for my legs. No problem, but also there was no need to be rude or make it more painful that necessary. Finally, after waiting the 2 weeks they requested to refund me, I called the manager about my refund. No return call. Over the next few days, I called a few times when they said the manager would be at a specific spa location, to get the situation wrapped up. After waiting a week and not hearing back, I canceled the payment with my credit card. I won't be returning and I caution anyone who's thinking about a service here. read more

I have the monthly membership so Im really getting to try things out that I might not have done before. Its a great deal, a beautiful salon and they are clean, prompt and very nice. I saw some of the reviews of people being mad because they were late for their appt and were canceled. I came in 30min late once cause I got the times mixed up and they were able to reschedule me and work me in. If they are fully booked and just cant do it, then thats understandable and what keeps the rest of us to get our appt on time. I would highly recommend. read more

I love the membership, it is a fantastic value. The staff are friendly and helpful. They are pretty new so everything has a very clean, new appearance. As of the time of this review getting an appointment is a breeze although it is hard to imagine it will always stay that way. The member waiting room has massage chairs that I love. I do wish members could get more services scheduled for the same day to consolidate trips but otherwise I can't complain. They screwed up the scheduling. 2). After waiting 50 minutes past my appointment time... I finally see someone. After trying to sell sell sell membership packages... I made it clear: Only interested in tattoo removal and NO memberships. So they changed prices on me. Price doubled. After speaking to several people - it was clear that this business model is all about Quantity, and likely not Quality.
